(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – Former President Donald Trump stated during his Wednesday interview with Newsmax’s Eric Bolling that he has made a decision regarding the first GOP primary debate that he will soon be announcing.

The first debate is scheduled to take place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 23rd. So far, seven candidates from the Republican primary have fulfilled the qualifications set by the Republican National Committee (RNC) in order to participate. Previously Trump had stated that he would not be participating in the debate.

However, his recent interview may be an indication that the former President has changed his mind.

During the interview, Bolling pointed out that Trump had previously claimed that attending that debate would be “stupid” as he was leading in the race. He then asked whether Trump would be going to the debate or not.

In response, Trump stated that he was going to announce his decision next week.

Bolling continued to press, asking whether Trump was going to be making a decision about the presidential debate next week. In response, the former President argued that he had already made the decision and that he was going to be making an announcement next week.

Previously, Trump had also argued that he would not be attending the debate because it was being hosted by Fox News. He has argued that the network had not provided enough coverage of his other presidential events.

Trump also revealed that he was not happy with the RNC’s request for all candidates to sign a statement that they would support the 2024 Republican presidential nominee regardless of who they were.
