On Monday, Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn officially endorsed Donald Trump for president, adding to the former President’s growing list of supporters for his 2024 presidential campaign.

Blackburn (R-TN), took to Twitter to praise Trump by stating that during his previous administration, the country’s economy had been “booming” and that both inflation and gas prices were lower and under control. She further added that the military had been strong and that the country was more well-respected across the world. For these reasons, she endorsed Trump’s candidacy and added that she “can’t wait until he’s back in the White House.”

Earlier this month Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL), became the third Florida Republican to formally endorse Trump. Endorsements from Florida have been surprising as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is widely expected to join the 2024 GOP primary.

Senate Judiciary Ranking Member Lindsey Graham (R-SC), a longtime ally of Donald Trump has also formally endorsed his third presidential campaign.

Trump is currently leading all the polls dealing with the 2024 GOP presidential primary. DeSantis is the only other candidate to reach double digits in support. Still, he is behind Trump, losing by a significant margin that is often in the double digits.

Still, a poll from Quinnipiac University last month showed that the majority of Americans believe that Trump should not be allowed from running for the White House again because of the criminal charges and the investigations he is facing.
