(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – On Monday, former President Donald Trump stated that he had a “real problem” with the New York judge overseeing his hush-money case. As he told reporters he did not believe that this was going to be a “fair trial” and argued that instead of in a Manhattan courtroom, he should be on the campaign trail.

Following the end of the day in his “hush money” trial, Trump slammed Judge Juan Merchan over his decision to block the former President from attending the Supreme Court hearing on presidential immunity which is scheduled to take place next week. Trump and his legal team have been arguing that he should be immune from criminal prosecution as the former President for all the cases relating to his time in office. The Supreme Court is set to hear arguments on this on April 25th.

Trump has slammed the judge who is presiding over the hush money trial after he rejected the request from Trump’s attorneys to recuse himself from this criminal case. Trump argued that this is a “very conflicted judge” which is why they have an issue with him.

Trump has also denounced the entire criminal case claiming that it is a “political witch hunt” and that instead of being in Manhattan he should be campaigning for the 2024 presidential election. The GOP presidential candidate argued that currently, he was not campaigning across the country as he should be and that the case brought forward by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg was just “about election interference.”
