(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – On Wednesday, President Biden put his appeal to union workers on display as he presented himself as more similar to the average Joe than former President Donald Trump is.

In the past week, Biden has had two campaign events appealing to union workers, using the opportunity to slam Trump for his privileged upbringing and trying to appeal to union workers on a more personal level to get their votes.

During the latest event at North America’s Building Trade Union (NABTU) National Legislative Conference, President Biden argued that everyone knew that people like Trump were “looking down on us.” He continued by saying that this is something that everyone who had grown up in such situations could understand. He proceeded by claiming that voters could choose between the values of Scranton or Mar-a-Lago.

Biden had presented Trump as a bully to the U.S. working class and had often talked about the labor movement by including himself in it. Biden referred to the working class as “us” and stated that Trump viewed the world through the privileged lens of Mar-a-Lago and looked down on American blue-collar workers.

This is not the first time Biden has brought up Trump’s upbringing. Last week, during the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), he stated that Trump had been aware that the “best way” to become rich was through inheriting money.
