(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – The House Committee on Oversight and Accountability chair James Comer (R-KY) called out the White House for obstructing President Joe Biden’s impeachment inquiry which is looking into the influence-peddling allegations, and other possible criminal activity from the Biden family.
On Wednesday, Comer sent a letter to the President’s Special Counsel Richard Sauber. This letter was obtained by Newsmax. In it, he called once again for the President to hand over information relating to his interactions with his son Hunter Biden, and his business associates. He also pushed for the White House to grant the Nation Archives and Records Administration permission to hand over the records that are related to the multiple requests the committee has filed.
The requests in question include Biden’s emails as vice president which he had used as an alias, the Air Force 2 manifests, and the drafts of Biden’s speech that he had given to the Ukrainian Rada in 2015 during his time as Vice President.
As Comer wrote to Sauber rather than complying with the Committee’s request, which would give them access to evidence that would show whether or not President Biden has been involved in any wrongdoing, the President has maintained that there has been no wrongdoing. As he pointed out these claims by Biden are ones that his family’s business associates have previously dismissed.
Comer questioned why the President was blocking them from gaining access to specific documents that had been requested by the Committee close to two months earlier.
