(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – A recent poll revealed that in seven pivotal swing states, former President Trump is currently outpacing President Biden, suggesting a potential shift in the upcoming election. This survey, conducted by Bloomberg News and Morning Consult, indicates that in Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada, and Wisconsin, voters are more inclined to support Trump in a theoretical matchup against Biden. Concerns about Biden’s age were frequently mentioned by participants, while a notable portion regarded Trump as posing a risk.

In a collective analysis of these states, 48% of respondents favored Trump, with Biden receiving 43% support. Trump’s most substantial lead is in North Carolina, where he surpasses Biden by 9 percentage points, achieving 50% support compared to Biden’s 41%. Notably, North Carolina, a state Trump won in the 2020 election, is where he reached at least 50% backing in this recent poll, a majority level of support not seen for either candidate in the other swing states examined.

Trump leads Biden by 6 points in Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, and Pennsylvania—states that were under Biden’s belt in the 2020 elections. The competition is tighter in Wisconsin and Michigan, with Trump ahead by 4 and 2 percentage points, respectively. In Michigan, known as the Great Lakes State, Trump has a 46% support rate against Biden’s 44%.

The survey highlighted voters’ perceptions of both candidates, with approximately 80% considering Biden too old for the presidency and nearly 60% viewing Trump as a dangerous choice. However, Trump was more often seen as mentally fit compared to the current president.

This poll’s findings were released following the 2024 Michigan presidential primary, where both party frontrunners emerged victorious in their respective contests, setting the stage for an intense electoral battle.
