(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – On Tuesday, the Republican National Committee (RNC) hired Donald Trump’s former attorney Christina Bobb to serve as an election integrity senior counsel.
Bobb, who had previously worked as a One America News Network correspondent, has been a supporter of former President Donald Trump’s unfounded false claims regarding widespread election fraud in the 2020 election, which he attributes his loss to. She previously wrote a book titled “Stealing Your Vote: The Inside Story of the 2020 Election and What It Means for 2024” and supported the audit of the 2020 Arizona Maricopa County presidential election results audit.
Bobb had told The Washington Post in a statement that he was honored to be joining the RNC and that she was happy to see the new leadership focusing on election integrity. She added that she was looking forward to working to ensure election integrity and to restore voters’ confidence in the process.
The new leadership of the RNC includes Chair Michael Whatley and co-chair Lara Trump, both of whom had been formally endorsed by former President Trump for their positions.
Trump campaign adviser Chris LaCivita who has also joined the RNC leadership has noted that the organization was positioning itself in an offensive rather than defensive position.
The Post in a report pointed out that almost the entirety of the committee’s leadership had either been reassigned or replaced and that many of the lower-ranking officials had been fired or informed that they would need to reapply in order to keep their positions.
