Ronna McDaniel managed to win over lawyer Harmeet Dhillon allowing her to lead the Republican National Committee for a fourth term. On Monday, McDaniel told Newsmax that she was hoping to collaborate with Dhillon and help make the party stronger, especially in key topics such as election integrity and early voting.

McDaniel told “Rob Schmitt Tonight” that Dhillon is one of the people they have been working with on election integrity. She added that she had been one of the lawyers and firms that they had previously reached out to for consultation and was a key player in the Google lawsuit. The lawsuit dealt with allegations that the emails sent from the RNC would be sent to people’s spam folders instead of their main folders.

McDaniel was originally picked and supported by former President Donald Trump for this position. However, following the underwhelming results of the 2022 midterm elections she has had to deal with a lot of criticism. Dhillon on the other hand was supported by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who is widely speculated to be one of the opponents of Trump in the 2024 Republican presidential primary.

In regards to the elections, McDaniel has said that it is important to reassess what went wrong and try to do better next time. She added that educating voters about mail-in balloting and early voting could also be incredibly important in helping them succeed in future elections. She has added that this is particularly important in states like Pennsylvania or Arizona if they want to perform well.
