(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – Former RNC Chair Reince Priebus has pushed for how important it is for the Republican National Committee to focus heavily on Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan – three of the key swing states – ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

During an appearance on Fox News Priebus pushed for his recommendations which he argued was fairly “simple stuff.”

He pointed out that the first steps the committee needed to take included raising around $40 million within 60 days. He added that the next thing to do is put paid full-time individuals on the ground that would specifically focus on absentee ballot voting while targeting early voting.

The RNC is now undergoing an important shift after former President Doand Trump was confirmed to be the most likely nominee for the party in 2024.

Michael Whatley is now the committee’s new chair, while the role of co-chair was assumed by Lara Trump, who is married to Eric Trump, Donald Trump’s son. As part of this reorganization, the committee is also going to be eliminating a total of 60 positions. This has led to a lot of concerns about the financial stability of the RNC, especially when it comes to providing funding to Republican congressional races and Trump’s 2024 reelection race.

Previously Lara Trump had committed that she would fully use the RNC’s resources to support Donald Trump’s second term attempt in office. However, these efforts are complicated further by the heavy legal fees that the former President is responsible for as a result of the multiple cases against him.
