(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – On Sunday, Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley slammed former President Donald Trump over the recent election losses of the GOP.

During an interview on “The Hill Sunday” on NewsNation, Haley claimed that ever since his election to the White House in 2016, Trump had been damaging the election chances of GOP members across the country. Haley argued that since Trump first won the Oval Office, the Republican party had lost the gubernatorial election in Michigan, and the state’s House and Senate election. A similar thing occurred in Minnesota while in Colorado no Republican was able to receive over 45 percent of the vote across the state. She then pointed out that the same thing had occurred in Virginia and that the only reason Glenn Youngkin was able to be the state’s governor was because Trump had been kept away from this position.

She proceeded to say that in everything that Trump did, he lost.

Haley continued by arguing that some polls have also shown that she is leading by a larger margin than Trump against President Joe Biden, arguing that she would be the better candidate against him in the general election. As she pointed out she is currently leading against Biden by 18 points.

However, she added that this was not just about the presidency and that it was also about school boards, the Senate, the House, and getting the country and the economy back on track.

Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung in response to these comments argued that the primary race was completely done and pointed out that the former President had won many of the primary races.

Following a string of defeats on Super Tuesday, Haley then proceeded to drop out of the presidential race, leaving Trump as the only remaining nominee.
