(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – A new Rasmussen Reports poll has found that around half of likely voters have claimed that they believe it is at least somewhat likely that President Joe Biden will be replaced as the Democratic Party’s nominee before the election in November.

On Monday, a survey was released that found that 47 percent of respondents believed that Biden was from “somewhat” to “very likely” to be replaced as the party’s nominee. Out of the 47 percent, 33 percent were Democrats. Those surveyed also claimed that the most likely replacement for the President is former first lady Michelle Obama.

Furthermore, 48 percent of the Democrats included in the survey have argued that this was a move that they would either “somewhat” or “strongly approve.” This was similar to the 48 percent of likely voters who argued the same. However, another 38 percent of Democrats claimed that this was not a move that they would approve at all, while 45 percent of Republicans argued that they would approve of having Biden replaced.

In terms of who they believed would be the best option to be brought in as a Biden replacement, 15 percent of likely voters, including 20% of Democrats, claimed that Obama would be a better presidential nominee than Biden was. Vice President Kamala Harris came in second place with 10 percent and was followed by Hillary Clinton with 9 percent, California Gov. Gavin Newsom with 8 percent, and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer with 7 percent.
