(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – On Monday, Michael Cohen, the former personal attorney to Donald Trump, slammed the former President over his recent decision to not testify in the New York civil fraud trial against him.
In an interview with CNN, Cohen argued that Trump was “scared” and that everyone was talking about the possibility that Trump had just taken and followed the advice of his lawyers. However, as Cohen pointed out having known Trump for more than 15 years, he doubted any decision he had made was in any way connected to the advice he had been given by counsel.
Starting this week, Trump was expected to take the stand in the civil fraud case again. However, on Sunday, he announced that he would not be testifying in the case again. As he had written in a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, everyone knew that he had successfully testified against the trial that was corrupt and had been brought against him.
Trump already testified in this case last month, where he had answered a number of questions from the New York attorney general’s office. In a different post on Truth Social Trump argued on Sunday that based on the previous testimonies that had been given, he does not have anything else to say other than the fact that the election interference witch hunt against him was in no way connected to his business practices. He had argued that the only thing he would do going forward was keep his business outside of the state of New York.
