(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – Former President Donald Trump blasted celebrity radio host Howard Stern this past weekend. Trump took to his Truth Social platform on Saturday to write that Stern’s show “has gone to Hell.” He continued to say that it had once been a great show but now there are very few people who continue to listen in on the show.

He then continued by saying that “When [Stern] loved ‘Trump,’ it was ‘hot.’” However, when Stern started supporting Clinton his ratings dropped significantly.

Stern has not responded to the comments made by Trump, which don’t appear to have been triggered by any specific occurrence that took place on the show. However, it has always been clear that Stern held left-leaning political ideologies and has in the past supported both Clinton and Joe Biden.

Stern and Trump have had a history that spans over three decades, with Trump having previously made over 40 appearances on Stern’s shows between 1993-2015.

In the 1980s and 1990s, Trump had been a “media darling” after he had drawn a lot of attention to himself as a business mogul. In 2004, Trump was the host of NBC’s “The Apprentice” which also helped him rise in prominence. During his time on the Apprentice, Trump appeared on Stern’s Sirius XM radio show 18 times. However, after Trump announced that he would be running for Presidency in August 2015 he refused to answer any questions relating to the Stern shows.

Trump similarly lost his relationship with TV host David Letterman after he launched his political career.
