(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – A prominent donor for the Republican party, including Trump, has revealed that the four people who were killed in a private jet crash in the mountains of Virginia were members of his family.

The incident occurred on Sunday, when a light aircraft with an unresponsive pilot ended up violating the airspace around Washington D.C. This resulted in F-17 fighter jets attempting to reach the plane using supersonic. Upon investigating the crash sight of the plane, there were no survivors found.

John Rumpel told The Washington Post that the plane had carried an “entire family,” including his daughter, grandchild, and their nanny. The Cessna Citation crashed near Montebello, Virginia, around 3:30 p.m. Sunday. As Rumpel revealed from what he knows they currently did not have any information about the crash but they were in contact with the FAA.

Rumpel, who along with his wife owns Encore Motors of Melbourne, Florida, is known for being a Republican donor, having donated to multiple candidates including Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-GA), and Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT). The jet that crashed carrying his daughter, Adina Azarian, 49, was an Encore plane.

According to the Daily Mail, Rumpel had previously lost another child in a scuba diving accident. Following the death of their 19-year-old daughter, Rumpel bought an 11-story building in Melbourne and turned the property into Victoria Landing, an assisted-living facility that was named in honor of their late daughter.

Rumpel shared with the New York Times that if the plane had lost cabin pressure before the impact they had all simply “gone to sleep and never woke up.”
