(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – The Democratic National Committee slammed the New Hampshire Democratic Party over the upcoming primary process.

The co-chairs of the DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee, James Roosevelt Jr., and Minyon Moore wrote in a letter to Raymond Buckley, the chair of the state’s Democratic Party that the event scheduled on January 23rd, 2024, could not be used as the first determining stage in the selection process in the state. They added that the New Hampshire Democratic Party needed to inform the public that their selection on that day was non-binding and that the event was “meaningless.” They further claimed that all presidential candidates needed to take all possible steps not to participate.

This latest letter came after New Hampshire Secretary of State David Scanlan (R) announced that the state’s primary was scheduled to take place on January 23rd. This would undermine the Democratic Party’s efforts to have the first primary take place on February 3rd, in South Carolina.

In the letter, they point out that they were aware of the intention of the party to host a delegate selection process on January 6th, but that they advised them to educate the participants that this process has not received approval from the RBC. This means that it is not an approved route to them becoming a National Convention Delegate.

In a statement to Politico Buckley argued that this was “nothing new” and that they had been making such statements for a year but the state continued to “persist.”
