The footage circulating from this event has been making the rounds online, as Biden spent the majority of his speech focused on how former President Donald Trump was a threat to the U.S. economy. Users of X, formerly known as Twitter, slammed President Biden for this recent appearance, with many pointing out how it appeared like his wife needed to rush to lead him away from the podium following his speech to stop him from appearing confused or stumbling off the wrong end of the stage.
RNC Research’s X account shared the video from the event in Pennsylvania. In the clip, Jill Biden is seen walking up on the stage as soon as the President finishes his speech, then quickly grabbing his hand to escort him offstage. The two then disappeared between the displayed American flags.
RNC Research’s Jake Schneider observed that Jill Biden treated her husband like a child.
Karen Townsend, the associate editor of HotAir.com wrote that someone needed to do it, while the official TownHall.com account was thankful that someone was available to assist President Biden in his exit.
The Daily Mail U.S. account pointed out that Jill Biden rushed to embrace her husband, who appeared to have zoned out as soon as he finished the speech.
