(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – Late on Friday, former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to claim in a video that he was the only U.S. President capable of protecting Israel against the Palestinian militant group Hamas which is currently in control of the Gaza Strip.
In the video, he argued that he had been the one to keep Israel safe and that no one else had done that. He further stated that he knew “all of the players.”
In a different video, he slammed President Biden, accusing him of being weak and incompetent and claiming that this perception of the U.S. is what ultimately led to the attack on Israel. He added that the situation would only get worse over time.
These latest remarks come after Trump’s criticisms of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu, which resulted in a lot of backlash. However, despite those comments, Trump has now switched what he is saying and has instead praised the Israeli military for their skill in this conflict.
However, Trump, who is running for the White House in 2024 has argued that had he been in office, then the conflict would not have occurred.
In a recent interview with Fox News’s Brian Kilmeade, he added that it was necessary to protect Israel and that they had no choice but to do that. He noted that the reason that they needed to do that was that Netanyahu had been hurt a lot because of the conflict and that he was unprepared. Trump proceeded to claim that had he been in office then Israel would not have needed to be prepared.
