(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – Former President Donald Trump’s niece, Mary Trump has disclosed in a recent interview that the most powerful GOP Representative right now is Marjorie Taylor Greene and not House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.
Greene, who was recently reelected has become a prominent member of the Republican party because of her ultra-conservative and right-wing policies. She has also frequently promoted and embraced several right-wing conspiracy theories. Her prominence has now allowed her to shape the stance that the Republicans take on many conservative issues.
Mary Trump, a vocal critic of both her uncle Donald Trump and the Republican party, during an episode of The Mary Trump Show on Friday, said that Greene’s influence on the GOP was concerning. Mary Trump even went as far as to say that it was Greene who was the actual “Speaker of the House.” She added that it only took Greene two years to become the most powerful Representative in the party.
Charlotte Clymer, Trump’s podcast guest, also criticized the GOP for supporting Greene despite her support of different conspiracy theories. One of the many different conspiracy theories that Greene has supported in the past, includes a conspiracy that alleges that the Rothschilds, a wealthy Jewish family, had been profiting from wildfires which are caused by “lasers or blue beams of light” from space.
However, more recently Greene has sought to put distance between herself and the conspiracy theories she had once supported, saying that she had gotten “sucked into” theories that she had read online, but that these were not actually things she believed in.
