(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – Rumors were swirling ahead of the first presidential debate on Thursday, June 27th. On Sunday, Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) claimed that he would be sending a letter calling for President Joe Biden to be subjected to a drug test both before and after the first presidential debate on Thursday.

During the Trump administration, Jackson had served as his medical adviser and White House physician. During a recent Fox News “Sunday Morning Futures” interview with Maria Bartiromo, Jackson alleged that President Biden has been using “performance-enhancing drugs.” However, he failed to provide any evidence supporting these allegations.

Jackson argued that he would demand a drug test before the debate, to help ease the concerns of millions of Americans. He added that they would specifically look for whether he has any performance-enhancing drugs he has been taking. He continued by claiming that the President they saw recently during the State of the Union address was very different from the version of President Biden they were used to seeing daily over the last 3.5 years of his administration.

As he claimed there is only one explanation that can justify such a big difference, which is that he has been given medication to improve his performance.

The Democrats have often referred to Biden’s State of the Union address, pointing out that he had looked energetic. This point has repeatedly been made as they attempt to fight off the concerns about the President’s age.

Jackson stated that he has in the past requested from the White House in five separate letters that Biden take a cognitive test similar to the one that Trump had passed during his time as the U.S. President.
