(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – Green Day, a four-time Grammy-winning band has released a “Nimrod” shirt that featured former President Donald Trump’s mugshot. The proceeds from the shirt’s sales will be used to provide aid to those affected by the devastating wildfires in Maui.

The band first shared a photo of the shirt that had Trump’s mug shot and a yellow “nimrod” sticker on Instagram. The shirt has the same style as the 1997 album the band released under the same name. In the caption to the post, the band also made a reference to one of the tracks that had been on that album, the hit song “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life).”

The band dubbed the new merchandise as the “ultimate Nimrod shirt” and said that this limited edition shirt would only be available for 72 hours. All of the proceeds from the sale of the shirts are going to be donated to the charity Greater Good Music which is working to deliver food to those impacted by the wildfires that burned large communities in Maui.

Since its posting the image has gone viral with more than 75,000 likes and over 2,000 comments in the first few hours.

Green Day is not the only one to be using the mug shot for merchandise. The former President’s campaign has also used the mug shot, which was taken on Thursday in connection to Trump’s fourth indictment, on merchandise including shirts, mugs, and bumper stickers. This is the first time that Trump was required to have his mug shot taken in connection to an indictment.
