(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) put out a report on Tuesday that showed that in 2023 the two states that had the most white supremacist propaganda activity were Texas and Virginia.

Throughout 2023, there was a relatively high level of white supremacist propaganda activity in multiple states, including North Carolina, Maryland, Missouri, Michigan, Massachusetts, New York, Tennessee, and California.

The ADL defines such propaganda incidents as all cases where anti-semitic, anti-LGBTQ+, and racist banners, publications, projections, stickers, banners, and other material appear. The report found that there has been a 12 percent increase in such cases going from 6,746 cases in 2022, to 7,567 cases in 2023. That is almost a thousand more cases within a year.

In the report, it was noted that these types of propaganda campaigns are frequently used by these movements to get more online attention while also provoking the media. As such, more people will be exposed to their white supremacist messaging. It was also noted that propaganda campaigns could affect the entire community, which is why it gives a small group of people the capability of having a much larger impact than normal.

When it comes to the rise of antisemitic language and symbols, the number of incidents increased from 852 in 2022 to 1,112 in 2023, marking a 31 percent increase. Last year following the October 7th attack on Israel by Hamas there was a 388 percent increase in such incidents when compared to the same period last year.
