New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman has said that she predicts that former President Trump is going to run for the White House again, however, she questions the level of enthusiasm that such a campaign is going to get.
Haberman also added that if Trump says he is not going to run again, then he becomes Irrelevant. She also said that many in Trump’s orbit have said they believe he will make another presidential bid, but that they don’t think “his heart” is “quite in it.”
However, Haberman, who is currently writing an upcoming book about the former President, has said that many people can run without having their heart in it. She also noted this is something voters can tell as it usually has an impact on your campaign.
Trump is currently also facing many different investigations and legal challenges. This makes the entire situation unprecedented if he decides to run again.

During Trump’s time in office, Haberman worked with him closely. She also said that the former President currently seems “less engaged” but he is still interested in the power the office has to offer.
However, she added she is unsure of whether he wants to launch another campaign, still, more on that front is bound to be released in the upcoming months.
From Haberman’s viewpoint, Trump has “backed himself into a corner where he has to run.” She said that he probably “needs the protections that running for president”
Haberman’s forthcoming book, “Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America,” is set to be released on Tuesday.
