The 2024 presidential race is shaping up to be a rematch between Biden and Trump, both of whom are widely expected to be their respective party’s nominees in 2024.
Trump in particular is leading ahead in the crowded Republican primary race by a large margin according to the primary polls. On Monday, Biden made another unexpected move after he joined Trump’s Truth Social. Trump had originally created the platform after being banned from Twitter. Trump often posts comments on the platform similar to those he was making on Truth Social.
On Saturday morning, Trump praised Biden’s team for having the President join the platform and argued that this was one of the only good things they had done. However, his criticism also attacked Biden, who he stated was responsible for moving the world toward World War III. He added that the President did not “have a clue” and that he was “grossly incompetent” but at least he had joined Truth Social which represented the voice of the American people.
Since the account’s creation, Biden’s campaign has managed to get more followers than Trump’s 2024 campaign account has on the platform.
