(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – On Wednesday, during an appearance at the Republican National Convention Texas Gov. Greg Abbott argued that the United States needed to have a president in office who would secure the southern border.
During his remarks in Milwaukee, Abbott argued that the United States president’s most sacred duty was securing the country. He added that this was something that former President Donald Trump had been successful with, while President Joe Biden has deserted as a duty. As he pointed out during Trump’s time in office the border crossing numbers had been the lowest they have been in forty years.
However, as he pointed out as soon as Biden got into office he destroyed the policies that Trump had followed which led to catastrophic results. Under Biden, the immigration numbers have reached new records, with 11 million immigrants having successfully illegally crossed into the country.
Abbott proceeded to slam Biden who he argued has allowed “rapists,” “terrorists,” and “murders” to enter the country. He added that the price that has been paid because of these policies is deadly and that among the many victims is 12-year-old Jocelyn from Texas who was raped and murdered by two men who had illegally entered the country.
Abbott pointed out that he has been fighting hard in his own state to secure the U.S. border, and promised that he would continue his busing operations until the border is secured. He added that both Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were refusing to visit his state as they did not want to see the crisis they had made.
