(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – A new video of 2024 GOP candidate and Florida governor Ron DeSantis went viral recently with some even referring to the clip as the end of DeSantis’ presidential campaign.
On Saturday, DeSantis had been asked about what his reaction was to Andrew Romero’s, his campaign communication director, comments about the other candidates in 2024 having the “knives out” against him in the first Republican primary debate which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
While DeSantis is currently in second place according to most 2024 Republican primary polls, he still has a big way to go before he reaches former President Donald Trump who is currently in the lead.
When asked about the Never Back Down, pro-DeSantis PAC, leaked memo which contained suggestions for how DeSantis should act in the debate, including taking a “sledgehammer” against millionaire Vivek Ramaswamy. Ramaswamy recently managed to climb to second place according to many of the Republican primary polls. He is also known for having defended Trump repeatedly.
However, many users pointed to DeSantis’ reaction following the questions from Fox News as having been filled with nervousness. The @InternetHippo took to X to write that it was becoming increasingly more likely that DeSantis has a “career-ending public outburst.”
YouTube show MAGA Uncovered, Track & Report on the Right-Wing co-host and former federal prosecutor Ron Filipkowski also tweeted that DeSantis appeared to be “broken” and “crushed” and that everything was over for him.
Other users drew comparisons between DeSantis and the character Homelander in the TV series The Boys, who has become the face of many memes.
