(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – Former President Donald Trump’s former attorney Rudy Giuliani criticized the newest federal indictment filed by Special Counsel Jack Smith against Trump.

During an interview on Newsmax’s “The Balance” with Eric Bolling, Giuliani stated that he would tell Smith that after the Supreme Court had dismissed his case, he should have tried to look into joining a different profession, as this one did not fit him.

Smith filed a 45-page indictment against Trump in which he included four charges against the former President including conspiracy to defraud the U.S., and conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding. These are the most serious charges that Trump has had to face to date. In the indictment, there are also six unindicted co-conspirators who are not named within the indictment.

Giuliani added that Smith’s legacy would be that he had violated the free speech rights of an American citizen. He pointed out that it does not matter whether or not he was the President or not, what matters is that he did not have the right to violate someone’s First Amendment rights. He then stated that this was not Smith’s first time being an “unethical lawyer” but that it should definitely be his last one.

On Tuesday, Trump was indicted for his efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. This is the third indictment that Trump has faced this past year.
