(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – On Monday, former President Donald Trump was quick to start fundraising off of his civil court trial in New York which had started on that day. Trump’s trial relates to a fraud case brought against him by the Attorney General of New York.
In a fundraising email that was sent out after the court proceedings ended, the Trump campaign used the subject line “I just left the courthouse.” Trump had attended the trial in the Manhattan courthouse that had finished its daily proceedings roughly 20 minutes before the email was sent out.
In the email, Trump reiterated his claim that the charges against him were politically motivated and that the cases against him were part of a political “witch hunt.” He further claimed that the legal system was being weaponized by politicians who were trying to destroy him and throw him in jail for the rest of his life despite the fact that he was innocent.
He rhetorically then asked why they were attempting all of this, only to write that they were trying to stop him because they knew he was close to winning the 2024 presidential election in a landslide. He further argued that once he won back the White House he was going to take the power from those politicians who were hungry for power and return it to the American people. Finally, he reiterated that there was nothing that could break him.
Trump has similarly sent out fundraising emails after every single one of his four indictments and court appearances. This further shows how the former president has been capitalizing on his legal problems.
