(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – On Saturday, during a campaign stop in Nevada, former President Donald Trump used his platform to blast Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), who is believed to be Trump’s biggest challenger in the 2024 Republican primary race.

While speaking to the crowd, Trump revealed that he was not a fan of his top competitor and believed him to be “highly overrated.” He then urged voters to remember that DeSantis wanted to introduce Social Security cuts and increase the minimum age. Trump pointed out that this is something DeSantis had pushed and voted for during his time in Congress.

He further argued that DeSantis did not have a personality and is currently “getting killed.”

Trump lost Nevada in both the 2016 and the 2020 presidential elections. This is something he pointed out during his campaign event, stating that Nevada “has been a hard state.” However, he argued that it is still a Republican state, in his opinion, and that Nevada will be a crucial factor in the upcoming presidential election.

This is not the only time that Trump has used his campaign stops to attack DeSantis. In a previous campaign stop in Council Bluffs, Iowa, he blasted DeSantis for wanting to reduce the usage of ethanol. He has also lambasted him on multiple occasions on social media.

In a Truth Social Post from this weekend, Trump also claimed that DeSantis was looking for a way to exit the 2024 presidential race while “saving face for 2028.” However, Trump argued that his reputation is already damaged.
