(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – Former President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump stated during a Fox News interview that her father-in-law’s booking on criminal charges had “solidified” him as the winner of the 2024 presidential election.
Lara Trump who has previously slammed the case against Donald Trump in Fulton County, Georgia by saying that it was just political prosecution. She said during the interview that she did not believe the charges against Trump would be successful and that most people were aware of what was happening. She further claimed that Donald Trump’s booking “solidified” that he would become the next U.S. President.
Donald Trump currently has a large lead in the Republican primary race with more than half of the GOP primary voters stating that they would vote for him. In the polls against President Biden, the two men are usually nearly tied. However, Lara Trump argued that this was going to change as the majority of Republican voters were going to understand how important it is for them to vote, which would lead to Trump’s polling numbers increasing.
Lara Trump further claimed that every time they attempted something like this against Donald Trump it became clearer what they were trying to achieve and why it is dangerous for the country. As she claimed the Democrats’ attempts were threatening to U.S. democracy, which is why this was the last chance that they had to “save” the country.
On Thursday Trump surrendered to the Fulton County Jail following his recent indictment over his attempts to overturn the election results in the state.
