(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – On Tuesday morning, following his great victory in Iowa, former President Donald Trump turned his attention to his New York defamation trial as he arrived in court for the second trial involving writer E. Jean Carroll.
Previously Carroll had won an earlier case where Trump was found guilty of sexual assault and defamation and was ordered to pay Carroll a total of $5 million.
Trump has maintained that he committed no wrongdoings and that he is innocent. On Tuesday morning in a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump stated that following a historic win in Iowa he would attend the “FAKE” Case in lower Manhattan which has been “encouraged” by Biden’s witch hunt. Trump once again reiterated that he had never seen or touched the woman.
Trump pointed out that naturally, the trial was starting right after Iowa ended and during the crucial New Hampshire Primary. However, he added that despite these attempts he would still be in New Hampshire that night and further claimed that all of these cases were part of an “Election Interference Scam” that political operatives were being paid to push.
On Monday, Trump managed to have a strong victory in Iowa, in the first-in-the-nation Republican primary contest. On Tuesday morning he spent his time sharing several negative stories that had been written about Carroll.
Trump specifically referred to a Vanity Fair article in which Carroll was asked about how she felt about her life becoming more public. In response, the woman pointed out that it was “fabulous” and “buoyant.” She specifically shared that during one incident there had been one person who had bowed in front of her.
