Former President Donald Trump, the night before his arraignment before a New York Supreme Court Judge took to his social media platform, Truth Social to blast the Manhattan prosecutor for choosing to indict him in this case over “illegal” leaks.
In his post, Trump claimed that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) had leaked “various points, and complete information, on the pathetic indictment against me,” and even alleged that the sealed indictment includes 33 criminal charges that would be brought against Trump.
In the Truth Social post, Trump stated that much like he does, Bragg also knows the reporters. He added that because of this “he MUST BE IMMEDIATELY INDICTED.” He proceeded to state that this would be the honorable thing for the DA to do, to “INDICT HIMSELF.”
He proceeded to claim that Bragg had been the one who “ILLEGALLY LEAKED THE 33 points of Indictment.” Reports in the past week have indicated that Trump may be facing charges on approximately 30 counts in relation to the hush money payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels prior to the 2016 presidential election.
In his post, he also claimed that there was “No Crime by Trump. What a MESS. Bragg should resign, NOW!”
Trump arrived in New York on Monday evening ahead of his arraignment which was scheduled for Tuesday at 2:15 p.m. When he appeared before the court, a full list of his charges was made available to him.
