(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – Former President Donald Trump has continued to defend his attempts following the 2020 election, despite the fact that a recent special grand jury report might include criminal charge recommendations against Trump.

Following the seventh-month investigation into Trump and his attempts to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia the special grand jury has officially compiled its final report. A judge is now set to hear the arguments and decide whether or not the report should become available to the public.

The report could also potentially include indictment recommendations against Trump. The investigation into Trump’s attempts to overturn the election started after Trump allegedly called Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and urged him to “find” the necessary votes so that the Georgia election would go to Trump and not Biden.

Trump’s efforts to overturn the election started after Biden won with 306 electoral votes, while Trump had only received 232 votes.

Trump has continuously claimed that there was nothing wrong with the actions that he took. He also maintains that the 2020 election had been stolen. These are claims he reaffirmed in a Tuesday post in Truth Social during which he said that all the calls he had made were “Perfect calls.” He added that both sides had lawyers present on the line and that all he was doing during the calls was protesting the results of the “rigged and stolen election.” He continued by alleging without evidence that he had been the one to win the Georgia election and not Biden.
