Trump Ally Runs For RNC Chair Position

Mike Lindell, the owner of My Pillow, officially announced that he would be running to be the next chair of the Republican National Committee. The official campaign launch was announced through an email.
Lindell is now going to be facing RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel who is currently looking to secure her fourth term.

In 2016 she had been former President Donald Trump’s choice for heading the RNC. She had at the time been a vocal Trump supporter, despite the fact that Mitt Romney, the Republican senator from Utah who voted for impeaching Trump twice, is her uncle. Despite this many have said that during her leadership the party has had to face tremendous losses.

In his own email, Lindell noted that the party lost a lot of its credibility with the Republican party base and donors.

While appearing on Steve Bannon’s “War Room” podcast, Lindell also spoke about running against RNC’s Ronna McDaniel. Lindell also said that he has not heard any opposition from other donors and that when he wins he will do everything he can to make sure that the country is “righted really quickly”.

Lindell also told the National File last week that it is incredibly important to make sure to have someone who understands business and organization and who can help “our motherland.”
