Trans Turnaround: Trump Restores Sanity to the Military

Seriously, thank God for Donald Trump. We can’t think of three other Republicans in that entire field of candidates who would have had the guts to buck the SOCIAL JUSTICE agenda of the left and do what Trump did on Wednesday in service of our military. And those that would have could have never convinced enough Americans to vote for them in a contest against Hillary Clinton. It just goes to show how wrong the NeverTrump conservatives are and how wise this nation’s evangelicals were in choosing to overlook some of Trump’s less-attractive qualities in the election run-up. This guy is firing on all cylinders.

On Wednesday, Trump announced that he was putting an end to the social experiments of Barack Obama and Ash Carter.

“After consultation with my generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States government will not accept or allow transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. military,” the president wrote on Twitter. “Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail.”

As the New York Times so rightly put it, the announcement “reverses the gradual transformation of the military under President Barack Obama.” You’re damn right it does. The military isn’t meant to be a playground for activists to push their LGBT agenda; it’s meant to be a well-oiled killing machine who’s sole focus is the fighting of war (with some tangential issues like peacekeeping, rescue, and containment being part and parcel of that). Obama’s edicts were worse than a distraction, they threatened to weaken our military in service of the extreme left. In service of a bunch of people who would just as soon spit on a soldier as look at them. It was a disgrace.

But it wasn’t even bad enough that Obama allowed transgender individuals to serve in the military; he actually went further, implementing a system whereby Pentagon money was to be used to FUND sex-change operations and other trans-related medical treatments! As though we have defense money to waste on this abject nonsense!

Of course, the liberal media is going to do its thing, and we notice that out of eight separate quotes reacting to Trump’s announcement, ALL EIGHT were negative to the decision. Now consider how many conservatives are applauding this move and then think about that. This is supposed to be an objective paper, but they couldn’t find a single person to support the decision? No, all they can do is quote Carter, who is defending his own legacy, the always-ready-to-bash-Trump Senator John McCain, and a bunch of gay activism groups. It’s pathetic.

Oh well, the important thing is that the right decision was made. Transgenderism is, by definition, a mental illness, and our military is now better off because we have a president with some actual courage.

  1. Making America Great Again….

President Trump is keeping his word.

    • Frances Szlachetka

Thank you Mr President Trump, that is the best decision you have made in my opinion. It looks like you have insight on how Obama’s plan to weaken of Military Forces is being crushed. Praise God this is the right thing to do. I hope to see many weak spots in all our Nation’s removed and improved. Mr. President you are appreciated by many.

      • No doubt Trumps decisions are making us great again.

          • Do you know what drain the swamp means?

It means get rid of dirty corrupt politicians.

          • Another Rat Leaves The Sinking Ship

WASHINGTON—Taking stock of his present circumstances as he packed up his belongings and exited the West Wing after being pushed out of office by the president of the United States, former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus expressed a sense of gratitude Friday that he had so little dignity to begin with. “I’m just lucky that I came into this role with effectively no personal honor whatsoever, or this could have really stung,” said Priebus, who explained that, having spent years overseeing the Republican Party and suffering regular mockery and derision at the hands of his colleagues and regular citizens alike, his unceremonious ouster from one of the highest political positions in the United States could, at this point, largely just roll off his back. “I can’t imagine how awful it would have been to be fired by the president over social media—not to mention, just one day after a new colleague of mine accused me of being a paranoid schizophrenic in front of the nation—if I happened to be someone who engendered even a modicum of respect or esteem from others. But I don’t, so it really isn’t that bad.” Priebus added that he was confident he could ultimately bounce back from the firing, saying his absence of dignity and ability to debase himself and the American people would surely help him land on his feet in Washington.

          • There is no doubt that the Republican party is corrupt at the top. There is also no doubt that those that control the Democrat party are either Communists or Socialists.

While socialism always falls to some sort of communism it really doesn’t matter.

Elite Democrats = Elite Media = Elite Republicans = Communist.

Drain the swamp. The people of the United States do not deserve communism.

          • it seems like everyone is a communist but you

          • Are you an elite politician? Then maybe you could come to that conclusion.

There is a new group out there called the Left. The Left is not progressive, because the left refuses to acknowledge changes that go against their narrative, like the discovery of an unique DNA at conception and Ultrasounds. The Left is not Liberal, because they do not tolerate free speech that goes against their narrative. The Left is not a Democrat because the Left is predominantly atheist and the Democrat party is predominantly God fearing Christians.

The Left is Communist, but the control many of these groups. You need to decide if you want to live under communism or start fighting the Left as I do.

          • You are incorrect . I’ll just leave it there-pointless to argue with so many false opinions let’s get back to Trump lies

    • Making America Great Again….

President Trump is keeping his word.

      Really? What about this….

      • I call what you are pointing at fighting fire with fire. The MSM is without a doubt biased against Trump. You can tell by the coverage.

It amuses me when the Left points a finger at the Koch brothers, it is always to draw attention away from the Soros donations, but this time you are doing something a little different. Now when you point that finger you are drawing attention to the Soros Donations.

“I fail to see how anything in that article says that Trump is not keeping his word..
Every four years, we gather on these steps to carry out the orderly and peaceful transfer of power, and we are grateful to President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for their gracious aid throughout this transition. They have been magnificent.
Today’s ceremony, however, has very special meaning. Because today we are not merely transferring power from one Administration to another, or from one party to another – but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the American People.
For too long, a small group in our nation’s Capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost.
Washington flourished – but the people did not share in its wealth.
Politicians prospered – but the jobs left, and the factories closed.
The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country.
Their victories have not been your victories; their triumphs have not been your triumphs; and while they celebrated in our nation’s Capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.
That all changes – starting right here, and right now, because this moment is your moment: it belongs to you.
It belongs to everyone gathered here today and everyone watching all across America.
This is your day. This is your celebration.
        —–Trump Inaugural speech

If you find Trump lying about this speech, let me know. Otherwise, it is fake news.

        • That is because for you anything trump does is righteous. Good or bad-the fact that he does or says anything makes it OK

          • Read the speech and the second he breaks his word, get back to me. Otherwise, you are just diverting to cover up someone elses bad behavior.

          • You are asking me to “Read the speech …”What speech? Every time he has opened his mouth or tweeted? The guy lies nearly every day-

          • I even copied the speech for you….. Look, if you are one of those guys that did not see 0bama’s lies or Hillary’s lies when they told them, you have proven that you are incapable of recognizing lies, and you are not qualified to make the statement you just made.

I doubt seriously you know the difference between being wrong and lying, and your bigotry will not allow you to apply the same rules to both conservatives and democrats.

In other words, your own actions have watered down your own rhetoric with hypocrisy.

          • How does calling me a bigot get into this? Explain

Also-Your claim that Obama and HRC lied doesn’t negate the many lies of DJT

          • Your bigotry is a factor because it explains your lack of ability to apply your own standards equally.

You can not prove the lies, so prove the many lies of DJT. The burden is on you. You made the accusation.

          • Here….
            Trumps Lies Since Becoming President
JAN. 21 “I wasn’t a fan of Iraq. I didn’t want to go into Iraq.” (He was for an invasion before he was against it.) JAN. 21 “A reporter for Time magazine — and I have been on their cover 14 or 15 times. I think we have the all-time record in the history of Time magazine.” (Trump was on the cover 11 times and Nixon appeared 55 times.) JAN. 23 “Between 3 million and 5 million illegal votes caused me to lose the popular vote.” (There’s no evidence of illegal voting.) JAN. 25 “Now, the audience was the biggest ever. But this crowd was massive. Look how far back it goes. This crowd was massive.” (Official aerial photos show Obama’s 2009 inauguration was much more heavily attended.) JAN. 25 “Take a look at the Pew reports (which show voter fraud.)” (The report never mentioned voter fraud.) JAN. 25 “You had millions of people that now aren’t insured anymore.” (The real number is less than 1 million, according to the Urban Institute.) JAN. 25 “So, look, when President Obama was there two weeks ago making a speech, very nice speech. Two people were shot and killed during his speech. You can’t have that.” (There were no gun homicide victims in Chicago that day.) JAN. 26 “We’ve taken in tens of thousands of people. We know nothing about them. They can say they vet them. They didn’t vet them. They have no papers. How can you vet somebody when you don’t know anything about them and you have no papers? How do you vet them? You can’t.” (Vetting lasts up to two years.) JAN. 26 “I cut off hundreds of millions of dollars off one particular plane, hundreds of millions of dollars in a short period of time. It wasn’t like I spent, like, weeks, hours, less than hours, and many, many hundreds of millions of dollars. And the plane’s going to be better.” (Most of the cuts were already planned.) JAN. 28 “The coverage about me in the @nytimes and the @washingtonpost has been so false and angry that the Times actually apologized to its dwindling subscribers and readers.” (It never apologized.) JAN. 29 “The Cuban-Americans, I got 84 percent of that vote.” (There is no support for this.) JAN. 30 “Only 109 people out of 325,000 were detained and held for questioning. Big problems at airports were caused by Delta computer outage.” (At least 746 people were detained and processed, and the Delta outage happened two days later.) FEB. 3 “Professional anarchists, thugs and paid protesters are proving the point of the millions of people who voted to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” (There is no evidence of paid protesters.) FEB. 4 “After being forced to apologize for its bad and inaccurate coverage of me after winning the election, the FAKE NEWS @nytimes is still lost!” (It never apologized.) FEB. 5 “We had 109 people out of hundreds of thousands of travelers and all we did was vet those people very, very carefully.” (About 60,000 people were affected.) FEB. 6 “I have already saved more than $700 million when I got involved in the negotiation on the F-35.” (Much of the price drop was projected before Trump took office.) FEB. 6 “It’s gotten to a point where it is not even being reported. And in many cases, the very, very dishonest press doesn’t want to report it.” (Terrorism has been reported on, often in detail.) FEB. 6 “The failing @nytimes was forced to apologize to its subscribers for the poor reporting it did on my election win. Now they are worse!” (It didn’t apologize.) FEB. 6 “And the previous administration allowed it to happen because we shouldn’t have been in Iraq, but we shouldn’t have gotten out the way we got out. It created a vacuum, ISIS was formed.” (The group’s origins date to 2004.) FEB. 7 “And yet the murder rate in our country is the highest it’s been in 47 years, right? Did you know that? Forty-seven years.” (It was higher in the 1980s and ’90s.) FEB. 7 “I saved more than $600 million. I got involved in negotiation on a fighter jet, the F-35.” (The Defense Department projected this price drop before Trump took office.) FEB. 9 “Chris Cuomo, in his interview with Sen. Blumenthal, never asked him about his long-term lie about his brave ‘service’ in Vietnam. FAKE NEWS!” (It was part of Cuomo’s first question.) FEB. 9 “Sen. Richard Blumenthal now misrepresents what Judge Gorsuch told him?” (The Gorsuch comments were later corroborated.) FEB. 10 “I don’t know about it. I haven’t seen it. What report is that?” (Trump knew about Flynn’s actions for weeks.) FEB. 12 “Just leaving Florida. Big crowds of enthusiastic supporters lining the road that the FAKE NEWS media refuses to mention. Very dishonest!” (The media did cover it.) FEB. 16 “We got 306 because people came out and voted like they’ve never seen before so that’s the way it goes. I guess it was the biggest Electoral College win since Ronald Reagan.” (George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama all won bigger margins in the Electoral College.) FEB. 16 “That’s the other thing that was wrong with the travel ban. You had Delta with a massive problem with their computer system at the airports.” (Delta’s problems happened two days later.) FEB. 16 “Walmart announced it will create 10,000 jobs in the United States just this year because of our various plans and initiatives.”(The jobs are a result of its investment plans announced in October 2016.) FEB. 16 “When WikiLeaks, which I had nothing to do with, comes out and happens to give, they’re not giving classified information.” (Not always. They have released classified information in the past.) FEB. 16 “We had a very smooth rollout of the travel ban. But we had a bad court. Got a bad decision.” (The rollout was chaotic.) FEB. 16 “They’re giving stuff — what was said at an office about Hillary cheating on the debates. Which, by the way, nobody mentions. Nobody mentions that Hillary received the questions to the debates.” (It was widely covered.) FEB. 18 “And there was no way to vet those people. There was no documentation. There was no nothing.” (Refugees receive multiple background checks, taking up to two years.) FEB. 18 “You look at what’s happening in Germany, you look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this?” (Trump implied there was a terror attack in Sweden, but there was no such attack.) FEB. 24 “By the way, you folks are in here — this place is packed, there are lines that go back six blocks.” (There was no evidence of long lines.) FEB. 24 “ICE came and endorsed me.” (Only its union did.) FEB. 24 “Obamacare covers very few people — and remember, deduct from the number all of the people that had great health care that they loved that was taken away from them — it was taken away from them.”(Obamacare increased coverage by a net of about 20 million.) FEB. 27 “Since Obamacare went into effect, nearly half of the insurers are stopped and have stopped from participating in the Obamacare exchanges.” (Many fewer pulled out.) FEB. 27 “On one plane, on a small order of one plane, I saved $725 million. And I would say I devoted about, if I added it up, all those calls, probably about an hour. So I think that might be my highest and best use.” (Much of the price cut was already projected.) FEB. 28 “And now, based on our very strong and frank discussions, they are beginning to do just that.” (NATO countries agreed to meet defense spending requirements in 2014.) FEB. 28 “The E.P.A.’s regulators were putting people out of jobs by the hundreds of thousands.” (There’s no evidence that the Waters of the United States rule caused severe job losses.) FEB. 28 “We have begun to drain the swamp of government corruption by imposing a five-year ban on lobbying by executive branch officials.” (They can’t lobby their former agency but can still become lobbyists.) MARCH 3 “It is so pathetic that the Dems have still not approved my full Cabinet.” (Paperwork for the last two candidates was still not submitted to the Senate.) MARCH 4 “Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!” (There’s no evidence of a wiretap.) MARCH 4 “How low has President Obama gone to tap my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!” (There’s no evidence of a wiretap.) MARCH 7 “122 vicious prisoners, released by the Obama Administration from Gitmo, have returned to the battlefield. Just another terrible decision!” (113 of them were released by President George W. Bush.) MARCH 13 “I saved a lot of money on those jets, didn’t I? Did I do a good job? More than $725 million on them.” (Much of the cost cuts were planned before Trump.) MARCH 13 “First of all, it covers very few people.” (About 20 million people gained insurance under Obamacare.) MARCH 15 “On the airplanes, I saved $725 million. Probably took me a half an hour if you added up all of the times.” (Much of the cost cuts were planned before Trump.) MARCH 17 “I was in Tennessee — I was just telling the folks — and half of the state has no insurance company, and the other half is going to lose the insurance company.” (There’s at least one insurer in every Tennessee county.) MARCH 20 “With just one negotiation on one set of airplanes, I saved the taxpayers of our country over $700 million.” (Much of the cost cuts were planned before Trump.) MARCH 21 “To save taxpayer dollars, I’ve already begun negotiating better contracts for the federal government — saving over $700 million on just one set of airplanes of which there are many sets.” (Much of the cost cuts were planned before Trump.) MARCH 22 “I make the statement, everyone goes crazy. The next day they have a massive riot, and death, and problems.” (Riots in Sweden broke out two days later and there were no deaths.) MARCH 22 “NATO, obsolete, because it doesn’t cover terrorism. They fixed that.” (It has fought terrorism since the 1980s.) MARCH 22 “Well, now, if you take a look at the votes, when I say that, I mean mostly they register wrong — in other words, for the votes, they register incorrectly and/or illegally. And they then vote. You have tremendous numbers of people.” (There’s no evidence of widespread voter fraud.) MARCH 29 “Remember when the failing @nytimes apologized to its subscribers, right after the election, because their coverage was so wrong. Now worse!” (It didn’t apologize.) MARCH 31 “We have a lot of plants going up now in Michigan that were never going to be there if I — if I didn’t win this election, those plants would never even think about going back. They were gone.” (These investments were already planned.) APRIL 2 “And I was totally opposed to the war in the Middle East which I think finally has been proven, people tried very hard to say I wasn’t but you’ve seen that it is now improving.” (He was for an invasion before he was against it.) APRIL 2 “Now, my last tweet — you know, the one that you are talking about, perhaps — was the one about being, in quotes, wiretapped, meaning surveilled. Guess what, it is turning out to be true.” (There is still no evidence.) APRIL 5 “You have many states coming up where they’re going to have no insurance company. O.K.? It’s already happened in Tennessee. It’s happening in Kentucky. Tennessee only has half coverage. Half the state is gone. They left.” (Every marketplace region in Tennessee had at least one insurer.) APRIL 6 “If you look at the kind of cost-cutting we’ve been able to achieve with the military and at the same time ordering vast amounts of equipment — saved hundreds of millions of dollars on airplanes, and really billions, because if you take that out over a period of years it’s many billions of dollars — I think we’ve had a tremendous success.” (Much of the price cuts were already projected.) APRIL 11 “I like Steve, but you have to remember he was not involved in my campaign until very late. I had already beaten all the senators and all the governors, and I didn’t know Steve.” (He knew Steve Bannon since 2011.) APRIL 12 “You can’t do it faster, because they’re obstructing. They’re obstructionists. So I have people — hundreds of people that we’re trying to get through. I mean you have — you see the backlog. We can’t get them through.” (At this point, he had not nominated anyone for hundreds of positions.) APRIL 12 “The New York Times said the word wiretapped in the headline of the first edition. Then they took it out of there fast when they realized.” (There were separate headlines for print and web, but neither were altered.) APRIL 12 “The secretary general and I had a productive discussion about what more NATO can do in the fight against terrorism. I complained about that a long time ago and they made a change, and now they do fight terrorism.” (NATO has been engaged in counterterrorism efforts since the 1980s.) APRIL 12 “Mosul was supposed to last for a week and now they’ve been fighting it for many months and so many more people died.” (The campaign was expected to take months.) APRIL 16 “Someone should look into who paid for the small organized rallies yesterday. The election is over!” (There’s no evidence of paid protesters.) APRIL 18 “The fake media goes, ‘Donald Trump changed his stance on China.’ I haven’t changed my stance.” (He did.) APRIL 21 “On 90 planes I saved $725 million. It’s actually a little bit more than that, but it’s $725 million.” (Much of the price cuts were already projected.) APRIL 21 “When WikiLeaks came out … never heard of WikiLeaks, never heard of it.” (He criticized it as early as 2010.) APRIL 27 “I want to help our miners while the Democrats are blocking their healthcare.” (The bill to extend health benefits for certain coal miners was introduced by a Democrat and was co-sponsored by mostly Democrats.) APRIL 28 “The trade deficit with Mexico is close to $70 billion, even with Canada it’s $17 billion trade deficit with Canada.” (The U.S. had an $8.1 billion trade surplus, not deficit, with Canada in 2016.) APRIL 28 “She’s running against someone who’s going to raise your taxes to the sky, destroy your health care, and he’s for open borders — lots of crime.” (Those are not Jon Ossoff’s positions.) APRIL 28 “The F-35 fighter jet program — it was way over budget. I’ve saved $725 million plus, just by getting involved in the negotiation.” (Much of the price cuts were planned before Trump.) APRIL 29 “As you know, I’ve been a big critic of China, and I’ve been talking about currency manipulation for a long time. But I have to tell you that during the election, number one, they stopped.” (China stopped years ago.) APRIL 29 “I’ve already saved more than $725 million on a simple order of F-35 planes. I got involved in the negotiation.” (Much of the price cuts were planned before Trump.) APRIL 29 “We’re also getting NATO countries to finally step up and contribute their fair share. They’ve begun to increase their contributions by billions of dollars, but we are not going to be satisfied until everyone pays what they owe.” (The deal was struck in 2014.) APRIL 29 “When they talk about currency manipulation, and I did say I would call China, if they were, a currency manipulator, early in my tenure. And then I get there. Number one, they — as soon as I got elected, they stopped.” (China stopped in 2014.) APRIL 29 “I was negotiating to reduce the price of the big fighter jet contract, the F-35, which was totally out of control. I will save billions and billions and billions of dollars.” (Most of the cuts were planned before Trump.) APRIL 29 “I think our side’s been proven very strongly. And everybody’s talking about it.” (There’s still no evidence Trump’s phones were tapped.) MAY 1 “Well, we are protecting pre-existing conditions. And it’ll be every good — bit as good on pre-existing conditions as Obamacare.” (The bill weakens protections for people with pre-existing conditions.) MAY 1 “The F-35 fighter jet — I saved — I got involved in the negotiation. It’s 2,500 jets. I negotiated for 90 planes, lot 10. I got $725 million off the price.” (Much of the price cuts were planned before Trump.) MAY 1 “First of all, since I started running, they haven’t increased their — you know, they have not manipulated their currency. I think that was out of respect to me and the campaign.” (China stopped years ago.) MAY 2 “I love buying those planes at a reduced price. I have been really — I have cut billions — I have to tell you this, and they can check, right, Martha? I have cut billions and billions of dollars off plane contracts sitting here.” (Much of the cost cuts were planned before Trump.) MAY 4 “Number two, they’re actually not a currency [manipulator]. You know, since I’ve been talking about currency manipulation with respect to them and other countries, they stopped.” (China stopped years ago.) MAY 4 “We’re the highest-taxed nation in the world.” (We’re not.) MAY 4 “Nobody cares about my tax return except for the reporters.” (Polls show most Americans do care.) MAY 8 “You know we’ve gotten billions of dollars more in NATO than we’re getting. All because of me.” (The deal was struck in 2014.) MAY 8 “But when I did his show, which by the way was very highly rated. It was high — highest rating. The highest rating he’s ever had.”(Colbert’s Late Show debut had nearly two million more viewers.) MAY 8 “Director Clapper reiterated what everybody, including the fake media already knows — there is ‘no evidence’ of collusion w/ Russia and Trump.” (Clapper only said he wasn’t aware of an investigation.) MAY 12 “Again, the story that there was collusion between the Russians & Trump campaign was fabricated by Dems as an excuse for losing the election.” (The F.B.I. was investigating before the election.) MAY 12 “When James Clapper himself, and virtually everyone else with knowledge of the witch hunt, says there is no collusion, when does it end?” (Clapper said he wouldn’t have been told of an investigation into collusion.) MAY 13 “I’m cutting the price of airplanes with Lockheed.” (The cost cuts were planned before he became president.) MAY 26 “Just arrived in Italy for the G7. Trip has been very successful. We made and saved the USA many billions of dollars and millions of jobs.” (He’s referencing an arms deal that’s not enacted and other apparent deals that weren’t announced on the trip.) JUNE 1 “China will be allowed to build hundreds of additional coal plants. So, we can’t build the plants, but they can, according to this agreement. India will be allowed to double its coal production by 2020.” (The agreement doesn’t allow or disallow building coal plants.) JUNE 1 “I’ve just returned from a trip overseas where we concluded nearly $350 billion of military and economic development for the United States, creating hundreds of thousands of jobs.” (Trump’s figures are inflated and premature.) JUNE 4 “At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is ‘no reason to be alarmed!’” (The mayor was specifically talking about the enlarged police presence on the streets.) JUNE 5 “The Justice Dept. should have stayed with the original Travel Ban, not the watered down, politically correct version they submitted to S.C.” (Trump signed this version of the travel ban, not the Justice Department.) JUNE 20 “Well, the Special Elections are over and those that want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN are 5 and O!” (Republicans have won four special elections this year, while a Democrat won one.) JUNE 21 “They all say it’s ‘nonbinding.’ Like hell it’s nonbinding.” (The Paris climate agreement is nonbinding — and Trump said so in his speech announcing the withdrawal.) JUNE 21 “Right now, we are one of the highest-taxed nations in the world.” (We’re not.) JUNE 21 “You have a gang called MS-13. … We are moving them out of the country by the thousands, by the thousands.” (The real number of gang members deported is smaller.) JUNE 21 “Your insurance companies have all fled the state of Iowa.” (They haven’t.) JUNE 21 “If [farmers] have a puddle in the middle of their field … it’s considered a lake and you can’t touch it. … We got rid of that one, too, O.K.?” (The Obama environmental rule to limit pollution in the country’s waters explicitly excludes puddles.) JUNE 21 “Gary Cohn just paid $200 million in tax in order to take this job, by the way.”(Cohn sold Goldman Sachs stock worth $220 million.) JUNE 21 “We’re 5 and 0.” (Republicans have won four special elections this year, while a Democrat won one.) JUNE 21 “Last week a brand-new coal mine just opened in the state of Pennsylvania, first time in decades, decades.” (Another coal mine opened in 2014.) JUNE 22 “Former Homeland Security Advisor Jeh Johnson is latest top intelligence official to state there was no grand scheme between Trump & Russia.”(Johnson, who had a different title, didn’t say that.) JUNE 23 “We are 5 and 0 … in these special elections.” (Republicans have won four special elections this year, while a Democrat won one.) JUNE 27 “Ratings way down!” (CNN’s ratings were at a five-year high at the time.) JUNE 28 “Democrats purposely misstated Medicaid under new Senate bill — actually goes up.” (Senate bill would have cut the program deeply.) JUNE 29 “General Kelly and his whole group — they’ve gotten rid of 6,000 so far.” (The real number of MS-13 gang members who have been deported is smaller.) JULY 6 “As a result of this insistence, billions of dollars more have begun to pour into NATO.” (NATO countries agreed to meet defense spending requirements in 2014.) JULY 17 “We’ve signed more bills — and I’m talking about through the legislature — than any president, ever.” (Clinton, Carter, Truman, and F.D.R. had signed more at the same point.) JULY 19 “Um, the Russian investigation — it’s not an investigation, it’s not on me — you know, they’re looking at a lot of things.” (It is.) JULY 19 “I heard that Harry Truman was first, and then we beat him. These are approved by Congress. These are not just executive orders.” (Presidents Clinton, Carter, Truman, and F.D.R. each had signed more legislation than Trump at the same point in their terms.) JULY 19 “But the F.B.I. person really reports directly to the president of the United States, which is interesting.” (He reports directly to the attorney general.)

          • Copying that BS does you no good. Shame on you. You are not only dishonorable enough to falsely accuse someone of lying, you are too lazy to fact check, even if your honor is on the line.

It is a serious character flaw to accuse someone of lying without proof. Shame ON YOU!

The vast majority if not all of what you copied is nothing more than a corrupt “reporters” opinion and has zero facts to back up the morally corrupt liar that wrote it. And YOU present the swill as facts????? You are not very smart are you????

Take the first “lie” Trump said “I wasn’t a fan of Iraq. I didn’t want to go into Iraq.” You show NO PROOF that he was lying and I doubt seriously that he was. In fact I give the man the benefit of doubt because I have NO PROOF of a lie.

Now you might say that he supports the war now… SO WHAT, things have changed. Trump was not in office and had no input into the war. EVERY normal person assess a situation takes a step and then re-assesses the situation after to make adjustments.

I’ll tell you what was treasonous, it was the way 0bama turned his backs on all our allies and new friends in the region. That was slime ball scumbag sick. And all the loss of life after we left is blood on 0bama… He turned his back and a lot of people lost their lives

I am not going to go through the entire list of CRAP because even YOU haven’t fact checked the swill. I suggest you start questioning the people that feed you your information, because you are looking very stupid right now.

  2. Thank you God and thank you Mr. President!!!! Finally some common sense in our government! Finally we have someone with a backbone, who’s strong enough to stand up to leftist insanity and say NO MORE. Our military is not a playground for childish ‘social engineers’ trying to force the most absurd, ridiculous nonsense they can come up with down our throats. These people seem to have no concept whatsoever of what the military actually does. Nor do they care. They only want to use it to advance their sick, twisted agenda. The left will howl at the moon and go into paroxysm of gibbering, drooling hysteria over this. Please Mr. President stand strong, America, the real America is behind you on this. And our military is as we speak breathing a huge sigh of relief that they will no longer have to worry about what pronoun to call the desperate attention seeker behind them, instead of who’s shooting in front of them.

    • Right on. As former 173rd Army Airborne trooper, I KNOW you echo all the feelings of the troops I served with

      • Thank you sir, for your service. My father was Navy, my brother army,
my sister national guard. My Godmother did four years as a nurse in Vietnam. My father in law fought in WWII. I think anyone with an ounce of common sense would feel the same. Which is why it’s gone right over liberal heads, they have none. It makes me, and most Americans I would imagine, although some are too afraid of rabid liberal retaliation to speak out, absolutely furious that these people would risk the lives of our service members and this nations defense readiness to force their absurd, insane, agenda on us. The military is not the place to deal with your mental issues.
Or to get surgery at taxpayer expense that leaves you mutilated and dependent on hormone treatments but still exactly what you were before while being unable to serve for much of your obligation. I cannot believe we’ve come so far from reality that this is even up for discussion. Someone with asthma or flat feet would be rejected but they want to force what amounts to a desperate attention seeker with severe mental, emotional and physical problems who will require an enormous amount of special consideration into a potential deadly situation in which others lives will depend on his functionality????? I fear for the future, not only of the military, but for all of us as long as these people hold any power whatsoever and the ability to poison the minds of others with their madness.

A psychological analysis of Trump supporters has uncovered 5 key traits about them

The lightning-fast ascent and political invincibility of Donald Trump has left many experts baffled and wondering, “How did we get here?” Any accurate and sufficient answer to that question must not only focus on Trump himself, but also on his uniquely loyal supporters. Given their extreme devotion and unwavering admiration for their highly unpredictable and often inflammatory leader, some have turned to the field of psychology for scientific explanations based on precise quantitative data and established theoretical frameworks.

Although analyses and studies by psychologists and neuroscientists have provided many thought-provoking explanations for his enduring support, the accounts of different experts often vary greatly, sometimes overlapping and other times conflicting. However insightful these critiques may be, it is apparent that more research and examination is needed to hone in on the exact psychological and social factors underlying this peculiar human behavior.

In a recent review paper published in the Journal of Social and Political Psychology, Psychologist and UC Santa Cruz professor Thomas Pettigrew argues that five major psychological phenomena can help explain this exceptional political event.

          1. Authoritarian Personality Syndrome

Authoritarianism refers to the advocacy or enforcement of strict obedience to authority at the expense of personal freedom, and is commonly associated with a lack of concern for the opinions or needs of others. Authoritarian personality syndrome—a well-studied and globally-prevalent condition—is a state of mind that is characterized by belief in total and complete obedience to one’s authority. Those with the syndrome often display aggression toward outgroup members, submissiveness to authority, resistance to new experiences, and a rigid hierarchical view of society. The syndrome is often triggered by fear, making it easy for leaders who exaggerate threat or fear monger to gain their allegiance.

Although authoritarian personality is found among liberals, it is more common among the right-wing around the world. President Trump’s speeches, which are laced with absolutist terms like “losers” and “complete disasters,” are naturally appealing to those with the syndrome.

While research showed that Republican voters in the U.S. scored higher than Democrats on measures of authoritarianism before Trump emerged on the political scene, a 2016 Politico survey found that high authoritarians greatly favored then-candidate Trump, which led to a correct prediction that he would win the election, despite the polls saying otherwise.

          2. Social dominance orientation

Social dominance orientation (SDO)—which is distinct but related to authoritarian personality syndrome—refers to people who have a preference for the societal hierarchy of groups, specifically with a structure in which the high-status groups have dominance over the low-status ones. Those with SDO are typically dominant, tough-minded, and driven by self-interest.

In Trump’s speeches, he appeals to those with SDO by repeatedly making a clear distinction between groups that have a generally higher status in society (White), and those groups that are typically thought of as belonging to a lower status (immigrants and minorities).

A 2016 survey study of 406 American adults published this year in the journal Personality and Individual Differences found that those who scored high on both SDO and authoritarianism were those who intended to vote for Trump in the election.

          3. Prejudice

It would be grossly unfair and inaccurate to say that every one of Trump’s supporters have prejudice against ethnic and religious minorities, but it would be equally inaccurate to say that many do not. It is a well-known fact that the Republican party, going at least as far back to Richard Nixon’s “southern strategy,” used strategies that appealed to bigotry, such as lacing speeches with “dog whistles”—code words that signaled prejudice toward minorities that were designed to be heard by racists but no one else.

While the dog whistles of the past were more subtle, Trump’s are sometimes shockingly direct. There’s no denying that he routinely appeals to bigoted supporters when he calls Muslims “dangerous” and Mexican immigrants “rapists” and “murderers,” often in a blanketed fashion. Perhaps unsurprisingly, a new study has shown that support for Trump is correlated with a standard scale of modern racism.

          4. Intergroup contact

Intergroup contact refers to contact with members of groups that are outside one’s own, which has been experimentally shown to reduce prejudice. As such, it’s important to note that there is growing evidence that Trump’s white supporters have experienced significantly less contact with minorities than other Americans. For example, a 2016 study found that “…the racial and ethnic isolation of Whites at the zip-code level is one of the strongest predictors of Trump support.” This correlation persisted while controlling for dozens of other variables. In agreement with this finding, the same researchers found that support for Trump increased with the voters’ physical distance from the Mexican border.

          5. Relative deprivation

Relative deprivation refers to the experience of being deprived of something to which one believes they are entitled. It is the discontent felt when one compares their position in life to others who they feel are equal or inferior but have unfairly had more success than them.

Common explanations for Trump’s popularity among non-bigoted voters involve economics. There is no doubt that some Trump supporters are simply angry that American jobs are being lost to Mexico and China, which is certainly understandable, although these loyalists often ignore the fact that some of these careers are actually being lost due to the accelerating pace of automation.

These Trump supporters are experiencing relative deprivation, and are common among the swing states like Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. This kind of deprivation is specifically referred to as “relative,” as opposed to “absolute,” because the feeling is often based on a skewed perception of what one is entitled to. For example, an analysis conducted by FiveThirtyEight estimated that the median annual income of Trump supporters was $72,000.

If such data is accurate, the portrayal of most Trump supporters as “working class” citizens rebelling against Republican elites may be more myth than fact.

      • Before asinine liberal Military-Weakening policies portrayed as “diversity social engineering” are approved, those serving in the military who will be directly affected by those asinine policies should be allowed to express their opinions online which protects their identities to prevent retaliation! If I were serving in the military and I was told I would have to serve with mentally disturbed or gender confused transgenders, my poll responses would blister the ears of the stupid liberals, and also Senator McCain’s ears because he thinks transgenders should have the right to serve in military! Perhaps his brain cancer explains such fruitcake opinions, especially for a former Vietnam hero!

        • John S. McCain was known as the Songbird of the Hanoi Hilton and if his father wasn’t a US Navy Admiral during the Vietnam War John S McCain would still be doing time in Military Jail for giving aid and comfort to the enemy . Question , Why did US President Richard M. Nixon find it necessary to pardon LT John S McCain in 1972 ? Could it be that the US Government knew McCain betrayed his country during the Vietnam war ?

          • It could very well be. ANYTHING is possible since our government is capable of ANYTHING! John Kerry committed treason against our troops in Vietnam and was allowed to run for the US Senate, and even won his election. He was also allowed to run for US president, but Karma in the form of Swift-Boaters crushed his ambitions. Then Obama appointed him Secretary of State, and Kerry committed treason again but negotiating the Iran Nuclear Deal, which WILL NOT keep Iran from gaining nuclear weapons. They’ve also supplied nuclear technology to the North Koreans, potentially endangering every American. Despite the fact the Americans have helped the Chinese become an economic super power, raising tens of millions of Chinese into the Middle Class, the Chinese have “reciprocated” by stealing $billions from US corporations per year, have devalued their currency to create a huge trade deficit, threaten to nationalize $Trillions worth of American manufacturing firms located in China, they have an army of 15,000 spies located within the US who are threatening to conduct a coup to overthrow our government, and tens of thousands of Chinese tourists flood into the US per year to deliver their offspring to circumvent our immigration laws! And Congress lets all that go on without doing a GD thing about it! If American manufacturers who located plants in China to take advantage of cheap slave and convict labor, they DESERVE to lose their investments, their plants, their equipment, their technology, and their LIVELIHOODS, just as 94+ million Americans have due to outsourcing, foreign labor, and automation! But the American people don’t deserve having our country taken over by ENEMIES we neither need nor want in our country! That’s why we need to END birthright citizenship unless at least one birth parent is an American citizen. To be designated a Natural-Born US citizen for purposes of running for POTUS, both birth parents should have to be Natural-Born US citizens. Otherwise, foreign influences like we had to endure under Obama’s 8-year despotic Islamic rule will become the rule rather than the exception!

          • Gen11AMERICAN, YOU sound like a true AMERICAN should sound!!! You could not have said it any better either!! We need to fire everyone in our government, excluding TRUMP, AND START OVER!!! If people have not figured out yet that OBAMA IS A TERRORIST and committed TREASON AGAINST THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ON MANY OCCASIONS, THEY HAVE TO HAVE THEIR HEADS UP THEIR A**ES!! How do we protect our IMMIGRATION LAWS AND COUNTRY AGAINST ALL that you have stated when the Supreme Court and Congress will not stand behind our President TRUMP??? BUT THEY SURE AS HELL STOOD BEHIND A TREASONOUS TERRORIST WHO HAD NO LEGAL RIGHT TO BE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!!! HE WAS NOT AMERICAN BORN which is why he WOULD NOT PRODUCE HIS BIRTH CERTIFICATE!!! HE WAS NOT ELECTED IN BY THE AMERICAN CITIZENS EITHER!!! HE WAS PUT IN BY ILLEGAL MEANS!!!

          • Well said.

          • Just this morning, some dipshit liberal claimed we’re not being true to the plaque at the base of the Statue of Liberty. You know the one. It states give us your poor, your huddled masses. We’ve been doing that since the first pilgrims landed on the Eastern Shore of North America, but the only reason those “poor huddled masses” benefited this American colony in the beginning was because the immigrants came from Europe, were either Christian or Jews, and had in common traditions, morals and standards! But since the Democrats became determined to undermine our Constitution and replace our capitalist system with Socialism, they’ve been flooding in piss-poor Third World Socialists and criminals from 194 nations, using an asinine immigration lottery! And their goal is also to replace generational White Christian Americans with Socialists by flooding in millions more illegal aliens! They don’t care if our economy collapses under the strain or if lawlessness prevails! All they care about is regaining power and holding onto it FOREVER! Unless Voter Fraud is curtailed, they likely will achieve their goals because potentially 25% of non-citizens residing in the US are registered to vote! Each one discovered should be fined $25,000 and they and their families should be deported from the US! Just by threatening to fine and deport non-citizens who have registered to vote, millions of those illegally registered voters will likely scramble to un-register, and thereby will self-identify themselves, making it easier for AG Jeff Sessions and the members of the Voter Integrity Commission to fine them, and also levy fines against whichever State allowed those non-citizens and illegals to register to vote in the first place! If the right steps are taken, without the backing of fraudulent voters, we might see a whole slew of the worst Demos in Congress being unseated in 2018! And wouldn’t that be wunnerful!

          • FALSE-Richard M. Nixon pardoned LT John S McCain in 1972-

          • i memember hearing a little about that in siagon.

        • Senator McCain no damn hero.

      • thanks for your service gary ,i also spent 20 som years in the armey nam and desert storm .this is the best thing that could have happened ,

    • Common sense? president Trump? Really?
He is unstable, forgetful, erratic. Impulsive. Confused, unsteady gait, poorly groomed, unable to care about anyone but himself and, grossly, physically attracted to Ivanka. He exhibits 3rd grade sentence structure, appears disoriented, is socially inappropriate, overweight, exhibits temper tantrums, is rude to foreign leaders. The President is unable to get a good night’s sleep as evident by his tweeting schedule. If an individual doesn’t get enough sleep on a regular basis they become mentally unstable. His decline is rapid, improvement unlikely. Dangerous.

      • NOW….BACK-UP all your BS with factual proof or GET LOST!!!!

        • The documented/backup factual/ proof is to read /listen to his words, look at his image on broadcasts and BTW you can’t sleep and tweet at the same time*

          >This does not apply to the deaf, blind or dumb-

          • Now you are a moron..

          • And yet illegal immigration is down 75% stock markets are surging and unemployment is down ,oh and he’s not Hillary Clinton ……thank God

          • That was already happening under.predessessor…so….

          • Wrong illegal immagration is down 75% since Teump took office and like i said hes not Clinton ….so

          • BULLSHYTE you ignorant ,liberal fart sniffing moron.

          • wow… that was really an intelligent fact filled get an “A”-can I use that response to the next comment you make?

          • Are you really that stupid? No offense or anything but only someone extremely stupid or extremely mislead by the bought and paid for ‘mainstream’ media who cares nothing at all for facts or reality would say something that incredibly dumb. Seriously aren’t you embarrassed to come on here and make such a fool of yourself?

          • You mean the Supreme Caliph in Waiting? Who doesn’t have enough sense or morals to go back to Chicago or Kenya or Indonesia wherever he came from?

          • So it doesn’t apply to you then. You’re all three, deliberately.

          • Nor to evaluating your words and juvenile responses. Read 1 Corinthians 10 in the New Testament – if you can keep your head from spinning. It might help your outlook.

          • Rich: you are aware that you can’t believe everything you read in the newspapers, aren’t you? You’re very prejudiced and judgmental. That’s not liberal!

      • And you are a idiot.

      • Insert the words she, her in here for Hillary and you will be correct

      • Rich: Crawl back under the rock you came out of you misguided fool!

        • woooo very intelligent response…

          • More than an insane lefty fart sniffing moron can understand eh?

          • You have some nerve talking about intelligence after embarrassing yourself so pathetically so many times in just this one thread.

          • ” fart sniffing moron” you like that one heh! I’m bet you catch all the “boys in the yard” with that one, heh!

          • You have to understand that when you’ve spent so much time sniffing the liberals anus, you can no longer think clearly! Have some pity on poor Richey! He will probably never be able to think clearly again, because liberalism is truly a terminal disease!

          • No,but being Susan Short is a Insult to the Universe,Diseased Whore !

          • Are you twelve?

          • Your apparent obsession with flatulence and the anus are peculiar. Have you consulted your family physician about this? Concerned

          • I spit coffee!!!! Thanks for the laugh, I needed that!

          • Shut Up,Natalie,Diseased Trump’s Cunt.

          • Wow, you realize every time you type something you show plainly how embarrassingly unintelligent you are right?

          • Yes,Natalie, you Do Demonstrate your Imbecility with everyone of your posts…But the beauty is that one doesn’t have to read more than a few of your words to detect your Utter Stupidity, and I thank you for that.

          • And spot on.

        • President Trump recorded a remarkable trifecta on Thursday. In fewer than 24 hours, he was rebuked by the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs and the chief scout executive for the Boy Scouts America.

On a day when so many eyes and ears in Washington were riveted on the escalating feud between White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and the new White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci, no one should lose sight of the incoming fire that arrived at the White House.

It didn’t come from the hard left or the Democratic resistance. Instead, it came from people who represent communities or constituencies considered friendly to the president: the Republican Party, the military, and a civic organization known for its promotion of patriotism and traditional values.

Subscribe to the Post’s Must Reads newsletter: Compelling stories you can’t afford to miss

The rebukes were carefully worded so as not to be true rebukes, but they were unmistakable in their intent. In their own ways, the messages to the president carried a common theme: they were asking him to stop behaving as he has been behaving. Trump has crossed so many lines, as a candidate and as president, that the public often is numbed to what he says and does. Not this time. Perhaps that’s because each of the rebukes was about a different transgression, all of them coming in the period of only a few days.

It’s far too early to know whether they mark a turning point in how people who have been at least nominally supportive of the president will approach him in the future, but Trump ought not to be dismissive of their significance. The critiques may not change the president’s behavior, but as a marker of the rising concern about the president even from allies, they couldn’t have been more obvious.

The first of the three came from Sen. Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa), the generally even-tempered chairman of the Judiciary Committee. It was in response to the president’s repeated tweets and statements brutalizing Attorney General Jeff Sessions. The president will not forgive Sessions for recusing himself from the Russia investigation and as his blood pressure has risen week by week, he decided to lash out.

The tweets attacking Sessions and the president’s comments — “Time will tell,” Trump said when asked about the attorney general’s future — sparked fears that the president was looking to fire Sessions or force him to resign, with the obvious next step of appointing someone who in one way or another could contain or get rid of the Russia investigation now in the hands of special counsel Robert Mueller.

In terse language, Grassley made clear he would not consider holding confirmation hearings for a replacement any time this year. That would leave the Justice Department in the hands of Rod J. Rosenstein, the career prosecutor who is now deputy attorney general and someone who also has earned Trump’s disrespect for having appointed Mueller.

Grassley’s stamp of disapproval was an extension of the chorus of support for Sessions from his former colleagues in the Senate, particularly those in the Republican Party. They responded to the president’s public humiliation of the attorney general and the implied threat to Mueller with varying degrees of alarm. Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) said there would be “hell to pay” if Trump decides to force Sessions out and rein in Mueller’s operation.

For the most part, Republicans on Capitol Hill have sought to avert their gaze whenever the president’s tweets or actions spark controversy. So there has been nothing like this so far in Trump’s presidency. Whether that’s because it involves a former member of the Capitol Hill club or because of the potential implications for a constitutional crisis if the president tries to scuttle the Mueller investigation, the response to this has been different.

Gen. Joseph F. Dunford Jr., chairman of the Joint Chiefs, was responding to a different controversy, the president’s sudden and unexpected announcement — through Twitter — that transgender individuals would be banned from military service.

Amid confusion within the ranks, Dunford issued a statement saying there would be “no modification” to current policy until the Pentagon receives an actual directive from the president and Defense Secretary Jim Mattis has had adequate time to evaluate it and decides how to implement it. In other words, the Pentagon will not allow the president to change policy through a tweet.

As was reported in the hours after Trump’s tweet, Pentagon officials were caught by surprise by the proposed ban. The reaction to the ban was immediate, starting with the LGBT community and transgender members of the military and extending to Democratic and Republican lawmakers and many citizens. If Trump was simply playing to the culturally conservative part of his political base, he miscalculated the overall state of public opinion — and perhaps his own military.

The third rebuke came in two stages. It took the leaders of the Boy Scouts several days to issue a full criticism of the president’s appearance at the 20th annual National Jamboree. Presidents are always invited to address scouts at the jamboree. Those who have done so in the past have stuck to obvious themes of service, civic virtue and pride in America.

Trump treated his appearance as just another raucous political rally. He was partisan, attacking rival Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama. He was offensive, talking to the young Americans about the “hottest” parties in New York and a rich friend who he said did things that he couldn’t reveal to such a young audience.

No doubt unwilling to directly criticize the president, the Scout association initially issued an anodyne statement reminding everyone that the Boy Scouts are open to all ideas and generally free of politics and partisanship.

On Thursday, Michael Surbaugh, the chief scout executive, went farther, issuing a lengthy apology on the Boy Scout website. The good works by scouts at the jamboree, he said, had been “overshadowed by the remarks offered by the president of the United States.” He extended “sincere apologies” to those offended and said injecting partisan politics into the event was “never our intent.”

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked about the apology at her briefing. She said she hadn’t read it. She was she was there at the jamboree with the president and saw nothing inappropriate in his words. She noted as well that many of the scouts were cheering the president, which was correct. Older and more experienced members of the scouting family knew that the president crossed a line and the reaction was swift and harsh.

The Pentagon will carry out the transgender directive (assuming it arrives from the White House), once it has been reviewed and evaluated. Trump is the commander in chief. The Boy Scouts will retreat quickly now that they have apologized to the president’s critics. They are not a combative or confrontational organization. Republican lawmakers will approach their battles with the president gingerly. They are risk averse about offending Trump’s loyalists.

Still, the triple criticism, on three separate issues, from the Trump-friendly side of the American electorate should be a signal to the president. But is he listening?

      • Go F*** a duck . Unstable , Retarded , Confused , Brainwashed ; READ the Post .

      • Another VERY CONFUSED Conservative hating Liberal. You better have solid information to make these vile remarks or rightly end up facing a judge!!

        • what you’ve just said… Is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your response, were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this blog is now dumber for having listened to it.

          • Up voting yourself, like I said, pathetic.

          • Hey Rich, you genius. What has been happening to illegal immigration in this country, since this pathetic president took over for King Odumbo?! How about the number of people on food stamps?! How about the number of jobs coming back to america already? I could go on and on, but it would be too much for you to comprehend!

          • Do u have any facts to back that up. It would be helpful for your credibility. And all could learn.

      • Wow, that’s an awful lot of childish, grade school level insults and absurd accusations. You must watch a lot of CNN, like a good, easily led liberal. Are you used to it yet? Being a national embarrassment?

        • …childish, grade school level insults and absurd accusations” I have never said anything of that nature to you.I may not agree with you but you are at least civil-

          • Like your goddess? After the first debate Hillary was so upset with her staff’s lack of control over Matt Lauer, she told them, “If that f’ing fascist gets elected, we’ll all hang, you f’ing idiots!” (contraction not used in verbal diatribe) She then threw a mug at Donna Brazille.

      • disqus_CeZmTpgh9W

Typical LEFTIST WHINING! Trump IS THE PRESIDENT! Get used to it!!!!!!!!!

      • No, Rich, it is dumb fuxks like you who are dangerous!

      • Coming from a community whose suicide rate is multiples of the normal community of breeders and folks who know the makeup of their chromosomes.

      • Rich Girod,
I get the impression that you don’t like Trump.

      • It’s impossible to miss the accuracy of your observations. No one voted FOR him. The constitutional electoral majority voted AGAINST the co-chair of a corrupt, criminal, treasonous, sceaming, lying, stealing, bribe taking, family crime cartel returning to our chief executive position.
For your depth, please explain how 62 million American voters don’t make that connection?

        • What are u talking about?

        • Medic RN,
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I get the impression that you and Rich Girod don’t like Trump.

          • Correction. I very much support Donald Trump and his presidency. His advanced skills are his timing, executive experience and ability to select andseat immediately functional people. Perhaps he has a right to be an arrogant blowhard. He’s earned it. Regardless, he is one of and among the people. Far, far more than Obama, Bush or Clinton was. Trump is exactly what America needs at exactly the right time.

          • That’s your opinion.Mine is that you are misinformed

          • Yea but…’re a bitter, frustrated, liberal shit stirrer. You’ve said so yourself all day. Don’t worry. Be happy.

          • Obama Care repeal and replace defeated- Tired of winning?

          • If so America is truly screwed. Sad

          • You liberals need to get your hands out of your pants, your minds out of the toilet and start explaining anything substantive. The Clinton’s are cunning, premeditated, murderous, lying, treasonous thieves. Do you doubt any of that? Why would you want them in the White House? Please focus and offer a compelling explanation….if it’s not too much of a distraction from illegal immigration and the LGBT community.

          • Hillary lost- Get over it.

      • You only have third hand reports from biased sources. You are also evidently very prejudiced, because you’ve elected to believe them all. And did you know that spending money wildly is the sign of bipolar disorder? You currently owe one million dollars, borrowed on your account by the federal government, by people you voted for. I’m not sure you’re competent to judge someone else.

    • Stephen Griffith

Amen! Natalie it is good to see that “We The People” have a President with a spine of steel. Unlike the past one that did nothing to serve America. I myself tried to join the Marines, but was turned down for health issues. I wanted very much to fight for my Country. But now I serve on the side lines by supporting our Troops both brave real Men & Women that fight the good fight & keep the faith.

      • You´re all a bunch of ignorant bigots—-and Trump is one of the worst. Spine of steel hell!!! He was too chicken to join the military—yet he thinks he can bully everybody that is willing to sacrifice their lives. Those transgenders are just as human as everybody else. What you know nothing about, you shouldn´t be so quick to judge.

        • Cat Person: I agree that transgenders are human. However, it is true they have medical problems. That’s why they see doctors. My son was in the Navy and they kick you out if you have eczema. A nephew was kicked out because he hurt his knee. It doesn’t take much. Not all the rules are fair, they are not always applied the same to everybody, and not all of them make sense to everybody. But somebody who is pre-transition and getting therapy has a medical problem. They need to get that settled before applying, simple as that. And they need to be able to pass the same physicals and PT requirements as everybody else. I was also disqualified on medical grounds, although at the time I felt physically healthy, and it was a matter of some measurements that were off but only had a big effect many years later.

          • CV—my husband is retired from the Navy. Though I´ve seen situations where some people have been kicked out for reasons that were definitely unfair—-I blame those situations on the people over the ones that got kicked out —like simply not liking someone in many cases and using a minor problem as an excuse to get rid of them. This is something that I think is wrong both in the military and in the civilian world. The biggest problem we have is with PEOPLE. They have gotten to be too judgmental about things like race, religion, and about anything they can find to use against somebody. But being transgender in itself should not be held against anyone. Nor should being gay. I remember when they put women on the ships. To me that was a betrayal to us wives and girlfriends of the men on those ships, considering that they were underway for weeks and months on end. But they are still there—and it seems to me that could be considered as much of a problem as anything else. And I know for a fact that it HAS been a real problem for some. So why don´t they put a stop to that too???

          • PoorPitifulPearl

Cat Person, you should just stick to grooming cats. My husband is also retired Navy with 28 years on Submarines. Talk about close quarters. He is a good man and was always dedicated to his job in the Navy. When they first started talking about putting women officers on submarines, he put in his papers to retire. His comment was that although the women in question were grads of the academy, they had no real practical skills and would be detrimental to the cohesiveness of the crew…each with a job to do without question, particularly in a case where split second decisions needed to be made. It’s unfair of the Navy to allow women in such close quarters, especially since they stay underwater for at least 60 days. The men don’t need to smell perfume, be subjected to female pheremones and bitchy tempers when it’s their time of the month. Plus, there is no good way to dispose of tampons and pads while under water. Do you want to subject all women to having their “mechanical female parts” removed?

You had also better do a little more research on the cost of transgender surgery and the upkeep…it isn’t cheap. And you’d better believe these trannies don’t want to pay for it themselves and will go into the service, then demand the surgery. I need either a knee replacement for about $28,000 dollars total, or a choice to have stem cell therapy using my own stem cells to regenerate the cartilege. Guess which one the military coverage will pay for…the most costly one, because Big Pharma has the country in a strangle hold and will not allow natural therapies. I have to pay for all of those myself because I cannot tolerate big pharma medicine at all. It has nearly killed me. So, you’d better get off your high horse and learn more about that which you speak.

        • And you are about as smart as a rock. How long did you serve) I had 4 overseas tours and Trump is 100% right. Only a queer thinks otherwise.

        • well I hope you pay for all the expences .

          • If you had paid attention—-the expenses for any medical problems are VERY minimal for those people. The problem is BIGOTRY.

          • If you paid attention, you would know that’s liberal crap not based on reality. What is based on reality is the very real and understandable concerns of those who would be forced to foot the bill for unnecessary medical treatment that has nothing at all to do with military service and would leave them not only dependent on hormones but incapable to serve for much of their obligation!!!!! Are you seriously trying to argue this nonsensical crap as if it’s got any merit whatsoever????? The problem IS bigotry, smug, arrogant liberal bigotry. People like you who love to use words like fairness, patriotism and inclusiveness yet entirely ignore the fact that it’s horribly unfair to put the childish desires and unrealistic demands of a handful above the actual needs and what’s actually best for this nation and it’s military. It’s not patriotic to risk the lives of our soldiers by forcing them to live and fight in very tight quarters with someone who needs a great deal of special consideration to protect his touchy feelings and who’s functionality and stability would frequently be in question. It’s not inclusive to put a few on a pedestal and force compliance with rabid liberal ‘celebration’ of their lifestyle while smugly condemning and dismissing millions and millions because we don’t agree with you and don’t want to be forced to grin and bear it. True tolerance and compassion means considering everyone’s feelings. Not forcing everyone to only consider yours.

          • Thank God for President Trump! He has saved our military from a horrible problem created by a Democrat president, Obama, just like President Reagan saved our military from a horrible problem created by a Democrat president, Carter, in 1981. The problem Carter created for the military was caused by his changing the policy of discharging drug addicts to “humanely rehabilitating” them. Unfortunately the rehabilitation scheme didn’t work, it instead became a revolving door for drug addicts as they passed into, out and back into the treatment programs. That caused huge morale problems for the straight-arrow troops who then had to work 10, 12, even 14 hour day shifts to do their own jobs and those of the slackers stoned or in rehab, and even to deploy in place of the slackers. In addition, it incurred huge expenses for the treatment programs. President Reagan wisely quickly changed the policy back to discharging drug addicts, and military morale quickly improved.

If Obama’s Ill-conceived transgender policy had been allowed to stand, our military would have had the same morale problems and even greater medical problems trying to maintain the mentally transgenders.

          • Hormone therapy and surgery what the hell do you think that cost? go listen to your liberal stations some more you liberal bitch

        • Talk about ignorant bigotry! Who said anything at all about them not being human? Only you said that. If these people want to play make pretend long past kindergarten that’s their business, and they should keep it that way, I don’t impose my lifestyle on anyone else. What gives you, or them the right to impose theirs on me, or our military? What gives them the right to waste millions of our tax dollars on unnecessary medical treatment that will leave them incapable of fulfilling much of their obligation? What gives them the right to endanger their until because their hormone treatments that we pay for are making them sick or are not available in a warzone? You’d be rejected for asthma or flat feet but you think this would not be an undo burden? Really? What gives you the right to call us bigots because we have very realistic and entirely understandable concerns about that? I’d say it’s you and people like you who are the bullies, trying to ram every bit of your absurd ideology down our throats and accusing us of all sorts of ism’s and phobias when we resist. As for judging, that’s seems to be all you do. The military is not a playground for liberals to tinker with social engineering, it’s a fighting force that defends our nation, your nation. There should be only one focus in the military, anything else is a distraction. Anyone with an ounce of common sense should be able to see that. As for our President, I’d say it takes a spine of steel to stomach ignorant, arrogant, outrageous, rabid, insane liberal hatred. It takes fortitude to stand up to those who’ve done nothing but try to divide this nation and constantly spew exactly the kind of hate they claim to be against. And for your information President Trump is the Commander In Chief of the military. Who’s done more for this country in six short months that democrats did in all the last eight years.
Grow up. Tossing out the word bigot and arrogantly calling people names is not an argument, or a point. Learn to reason like an adult before condemning those who already know how.

          • How is being included in just everyday life and being treated as everyone else IMPOSING on anyone??? Also, Donald Trump the draft dodger is about the poorest excuse for Commander in Chief as anyone can get—-not to mention as President. You Trump supporters need to take the blinders off. Believe me—I had nearly 20 years experience in putting up with the military—-and discrimination against those people is WRONG.

          • Because everyone else would not require extremely expensive medical treatment or an enormous amount of special consideration. And we’re not talking about everyday life are we? No offense but you don’t sound as if your firing on all cylinders. You keep ignoring your own salient points and going back to your childish stock insults and assumptions. You should probably quit while you’re ahead. Of course liberals never do. They just keep spouting nonsense because that’s all they really have.

          • PoorPitifulPearl

Cat Person: Dear Precious …President Trump was not a draft dodger. He attended a military school and almost went into the military but I’m glad, for one, that he took the road he did. He’s proved that he could build an empire and now he’s proving he can improve a nation that has fallen into a swamp. Some of the swamp was caused by well-meaning people like you who don’t seem to understand the laws of nature and nature’s God, and the rest by whiners, the ungodly, the prejudiced, the mean-spirited and just plain nutjobs. Obama’s leagues of the unwashed and unwanted illegal aliens didn’t help either. Theyve become a loud, obnoxious, demanding, entitled group as opposed to those who emigrated here without resorting to being on the public dole and have made good lives for themselves and have assimilated to our language and customs. Please, take a break and breath for a while and re-think your flawed reasoning.

          • How long was Obama in military Oh he wasen’t

          • Obama didn´t need to be in the military. At least he wasn´t a draft dodger like Donald Trump was. And that college crap was just a way the ELITE could get out of serving. At least the ones that didn´t run to Canada.

          • You remembered Bill Clinton running to Canada,, he was a draft dodger and he was proud of it.

          • Obama wasn´t running from a war. Trump was. But right or wrong, you Trump supporters will defend him no matter what he does. He can grab women in unusual places—have lawsuits taken out on him for rape and many other things—he can lie like a dog— has NO integrity—has NO sense of decency—no manners—and he´s trying to destroy democracy. What you people see in him just doesn´t make any sense. And it will be a cold day in hell before those jobs that he promised people will materialize. He has done more than any other President in six months , but the things he´s done are not positive things—they are negative things. All he´ś done is take away one program after another. And to be the only person to back out of the Paris climate accord shows what an idiot he really is. SURE he´s making this country great again!!! NOT!!!

          • As far as grabbing woman what about the bitch on the plane that said he grab her tits.she said that was not bad just don’t go down below. You must be one of thoes idiots that say the same thing.Lets not forget Bill Clinton had sex in the Whitehouse and was impeached You idiots do not want to remember that. As far as jobs Trump already has them coming back.If you think protecting the people and following the Constitution is destroying the country you are a low life liberal idiot and do not deserve to call yourself an American

          • Transgenders are committing suicide in record numbers. Why do you think that is you idiot.
Just we need in the military

          • I guess you haven´t heard how many veterans are committing suicide—-and they were NOT transgender. Nothing in this life is perfect—and never will be.

          • More vast generalizations that have nothing to do with anything. You should have quit a long time ago, not while you were ahead, because your absurd nonsense never was.

          • Did you actually read any of my posts? Your calling me an idiot?

        • REV. JAMES G. BORDEN

What branch of the military did Obama serve in?

        • Stephen Griffith

I do not have to Judge for God has already judged that such things are not right, Read the Bible. A man is not a woman or a woman a man. They are different as God planned. At the beginning.

          • God made them too. They are his children just as much as you or I. Just look around you—–how much perfection do you see??? So I guess you think God only made the ones that perfect in every way???

          • PoorPitifulPearl

Cat Person….God made them, as emphasized in the Bible, man and woman. He never intended for gay, lesbian, transvetite and questioning people. Yes, some people are born with deformities, brain damage, congenital problems inherited from a parent or ancestor, but that soul put into those bodies is pure and good and if nurtured correctly by the parents, develops as it should. Unfortunately, society has become so insane as to believe the XX and XY can be changed, and fawning over those they feel are so brave to be different from who they were created to be, only to not realize that what is happening is a mental illness, social engineering, or lack of understanding. Sorry, kiddo, I believe God…not man in this fight.

          • Well—I think you are a bigot that really knows nothing about which you speak. If anyone does know, I would say that the officers that are already over some of these people would know more than anyone else. And just like any other (supposedly normal) person, I´m sure that there are both good and bad. But they should not be judged just because they are transgender. And as far as Donald Trump goes—I was THERE when so many guys went to college just so they didn´t have to get involved in the war. It seems that is always left up to the poor folks—and the truly brave. To me, anybody that would support the likes of Donald Trump has very poor judgement—for which ALL of us will pay dearly.

          • Don’t wast hour time with this poor Lefty. The mental disease has progressed too far for redemption.

          • Paulene Perry Dougherty

God made every being. But that doesnt mean every being is suited for every job. Fish are God’s creation, but they arent fit for climbing trees!

          • Amen !!

        • Transgender are mental idiots and you must one your self. Were you a solder I dought it.Transgenders are all deranged.

        • Paulene Perry Dougherty

Human yes, fit for service and battle ready, no!

        • i hate stinking cats ,go drown your self in your tears of sorrow.

        • Hay idiot did Obama join the military.I don’t think so.Go screw your self

          • Obama wasn´n from the Vietnam era, when guys were either being drafted, running to Canada, or going to college to get out of it. Trump was. Big difference.

          • Obama was plotting how to change the country even at that early age.Cat person what a disgrace to the real cats

          • You have your opinion and I have mine. And there are MANY people that agree with me—-probably many that agree with you. So there is really no use to keep trying to convince each other to change our opinions, because neither of us will. End of story.

          • Its snow flakes like you that want to get rid of free speech unless its something you agree with.Like all the idiots in our colleges that have no idea of what it took to give us that freedom.Your right it makes no sense to try change a mind that is clueless of what they are saying. There are many idiots that hateTrump but more that like him Thats why he was elected enough said

          • Hillary won the popular vote. And I think Trump was helped by what James Comey announced right before the election—not to mention the gerrymandering, and the many people that were not able to vote because of voter suppression. To me and to many others, Trump did not WIN—he was HELPED thru the dishonest BS by the GOP.

And as far as free speech goes— The only ¨FREE SPEECH¨ that I´m against is the BS that these supposed Conservative Christians are trying to cram down everyones´s throat. To me, that is NOT what our forefathers meant when they defended free speech. To me—what they are doing is harrassment. They try to force their beliefs on everyone else, because it gets up in our faces too much—trying to force Christian prayer in public places, etc. Turn on your TV on Sunday mornings, and there´s a Christian minister—-never a Jewish Rabbi—even a Catholic Priest, etc. (Which I always turn to something else). But as far as I´m concerned, everything else is OK—-as long as nobody is trying to force anything on anyone.

          • Hillary won the popular vote because of California and New York illegals voting.Hillary has at least 100 suspicious murders under her belt and the bitch destroyed 30,000 emails .Don’t forget they way she destroyed Bernie.BS or not free speech is in the Constitution moron.I will not reply to any of your liberal post.go back under your rock.

    • Absolutely. We finally have a president willing not to be politically correct. These transgenders are only joining the military to get a free sex change operation, when there are many more priorities for military spending which has an astronomical budget. Better used to support and protect our troops and take care of our veterans. Not to mention I would not like the idea of my daughter showering with a “woman” who was born a man. Thank you, President Trump for undoing Obama’s nightmares.

    • Really intelligent people are NOT with Trump on this. But it seems that there are more ignorant people when it comes to this subject.

    • Amen, Natalie! …..and very well said!

  3. I’m glad to see this is finally happening. I’m a veteran and knows what it’s like out there. The time away from home and family. Ground hog day on steroids. On board ship day after day the same thing, and to top it off from horizon to horizon nothing but ocean. I have seen people snap and if you already have mental issues you’ll snap alot quicker. Most transgenders have mental issues already. This is going to cause problems and make our military weaker. These mindless liberal drones don’t understand and don’t care.

    • Frances Szlachetka

I agree with the decision of the President. This allowing these transgenders to serve was made by a fool. It will only make our Military become weak. Not only is this an issue of someone mental state, but a security risk.

  4. Transgenders in the military was and is not an issue. When have you seen it on the news or heard a inlisted soldier or vetran publicly rant about transgenders in the military. Trump’s stating that the cost was a factor in his decision is again lieing. The actual cost is .13 of one percent of the budget and the military currently spends 10 times that amount providing Viagra to soldiers. Ask a soldier what he/she cares about most when deployed he/she will say “knowing my comrad in arms has my back” be it man, woman, gay, lesbian or transgender. Donnie butterball small hands Trump avoided serving with a bogus medical deferment. Trumps own father was denied re-enrty and citizenship by his home country because Trump Sr. avoided serving in the German Military .
This was a move by Trump to misdirect attention from congressional hearing that samre day on the RUSSIA investigartion.
PS: The Pentagon officially stated it has not changed thier position on Transgenders serving in the Military despite what Trump said.
If I were in a dangerous situation and could choose between a transgender soldier or Trump as back-up it would NOT be Trump.

    • 45% of trannies 18-25 have attempted suicide that’s not the kind of person you want to have a firearm

      • Exactly

      • What source did you get your info from because I found NOTHING that backs up your statement.
Based on your percentage and rounding out the suicide attempts to 25 there are only 55.55 transgender soldiers in the military.
A google search shows that a midrange estimate of transgender soldiers in active military duty is 2,450 with an additional 1,510 in the
reserves for a total of 3,960. If I use the 25 attempts you quote and divide that with the midrange estimate of 3,960 the actual percentage for transgender soldiers attempting suicide is .00063 and is well below the average for non-transgender soldiers attempting suicide.
The percentage of Transgender Soldiers in active military duty is 3.960/1,300,000 = .003%
The Navy’s top special forces Seal unit had a Transgender Soldier in it and it did not seem to bother them. Qualified is qualified no matter sex, religion, ethnicity or sexual orientation.

          • “According to surveys, 4.6 percent of the overall U.S. population has self-reported a suicide attempt, with that number climbing to between 10 and 20 percent for lesbian, gay or bisexual respondents. By comparison, 41 percent of trans or gender non-conforming people surveyed have attempted suicide.

The most recent, comprehensive data on suicide attempts was gathered by The Williams Institute, in collaboration with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Its report, Suicide Attempts Among Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming Adults, analyzed responses from 6,456 self-identified transgender and gender non-conforming adults (18+) who took part in the U.S. National Transgender Discrimination Survey. The results are staggering.

Beyond the overall number of suicide attempts, the rates are consistently high from respondents ages 18 to 65, when they begin to recede. Trans men are the most impacted, with 46 percent reporting an attempt in their lifetime. Trans women are close behind at 42 percent, and female-assigned cross-dressers report rates of 44 percent.”

          • “By comparison, 41 percent of trans or gender non-conforming people surveyed have attempted suicide.”
            Does that bother you?

          • My mid-range number comes from the mix of all reputable studies averaged out. Like most studies they tend to look at only what is of interest to the ouecome. I do not 100% belive any report or study by one group as iron clad fact.

          • disqus_DuBbvbuEtd

A lot like CNN or other MSM right? My brother was denied entry in to the Air Force because he had flat feet! Plenty more denied or released in Boot Camp because they could not deal with the rigorous training!

    • And what are you trying to tell us ? Oh now I get it, you belong to the
      Democrat Communist Islamic Terrorist Party.

    • Well you actually showed what you really are
…you will.not fight yourself, you would let others do it for you

      • Someone got pissed at ” The Help ” and kicked him out .

      • Steve if you are talking to me I would like to know how you know who I really am based on my stance on this issue. I make no claim to knowing who you are based on the little information provided by your opinion. Do you have a crystal ball or maybe you are a professional profiler who works for the FBI.
One thing I do know is people that lack facts resort to name calling and character attacks because that is all they have to support thier stance.

    • To The Help-You are too intelligent to be on this blog-I have tried to talk sense in my comments but there is little interest in facts -That are all about how they “feel” and what they”believe” …facts are not of consequence-however I do encourage you to continue to speak the truth-

      • I watched an interview with Newt Gingrich and he was asked if Americans were safer than 9-11. Meets response was No. The interviewer stated that data showed that we were in fact much safer. Newts response was facts do not matter what matters is how we feel. Not the type of response Americans should get from a former Speaker of the House. Prime example of why so many Americans are screwed up.

    • Your argument MIGHT be more compelling if you were to proofread before posting. I had a hard time getting past your spelling errors to continue reading what you wrote.

      • Bottum line spellin a side you did understand and again like others attack the person not the facts. I never waz a good speller and spend zero time reviewing what I write. Live with it, I do.

        • The Help,
I’d rather just ignore you. You don’t care about being an illiterate, and I’m not interested in your opinions. Isn’t that fair?

          • Einstein was poor at spelling. To be illiterate requires alot more than being poor at spelling. So maybe you are the illiterate one because you do not understand the full meaning of the word. Instead of commenting you should have ignored me instead of displaying your ignorance.

          • The Help,
So you agree? Okay, then, I’ll just ignore you. However, it would be in your interest to use Spellcheck. If you did, you might be taken seriously.

        • disqus_DuBbvbuEtd

This really shows your intelligence. Why in the world would you expect other’s to take you seriously when you are so uneducated that you can not even spell a simple word as Bottom?

          • I guess you miseded the werd spellin it was a scarcastic reesponse. Don’t waste time checking spelling especially when using my phone. You abviously understood what I was saying, thats all that really matters so if you want to take a grade away for bad spellin oh well. I hope you are tweeting Trump whenever he manufactures a word or makes a incoherent rambling statement. It happens 90% of the time he opens his mouth.

    • The Help,
They’re an issue for me. I’ll concede that they have a right to live, but that’s as far as it goes. I don’t want to hear from them. I don’t want to hear of them. Bring back “Don’t ask. Don’t tell.”

  5. Bravo to you Mr. President, again, for stepping up and having courage when no one else seems to, Thank GOD for you, boy do we ever need it . BTW, 6600 trans in military? Whaaaaat? That is not proportional to rate in general population so it seems the word has gotten out that taxpayers will pay for your medical costs via military medical coverage for anything. I am not for it and I vote NO for using my hard earned money for that. This is nothing less than manipulation of taxpayers and ulterior motives by those who want to be another gender. We don’t need them in military, better off without ulterior motives. Need streamlined, disciplined and focused military. No nonsense.

  6. What a bunch of ignorant A-holes, for your info TG’s have been fighting for our freedom for over 200yrs. You guys/girls sound as ignorant as the A-Hole you elected, this guy is destroying American values instead of making them great again but what do you expect from a born liar, a crook to the bone and an incompetent for a president, who only has his family and their wealth as an agenda, how sorry you are that you can’t see the forest for the trees, apparently you all must be Putin A-Kissers also !!!!!!, what a bunch of Traitors !!!!!

  7. This should cut down on fragging.

  8. President Trump draining the swamp and cleaning up Sodom and Gamorrah.

  9. What I find interesting here is that you have the liberals, who are cowards by their very nature, and most of them have NEVER served in the military because they are cowards. Yet these liberal cowards are condemning this decision, even though it is a military decision, something that they do not understand! That’s the liberals for you!

    • Hmmmmm seems Trump his Father and Rudy Giulaini fit your description of coward. Trump also has no idea about the function of the military except that the military has really really really awesum weapons. You made a statement with very little forethought or fact also like Trump.

    • ” …you have the liberals, who are cowards by their very nature,’ Do you have any facts to back that up?

  10. If you are in Combat , sex should not be on your mind , Actually , I feel there is no Place for Women on Front Lines , Slit trenches for a Toilet is just not Great for any one !

  11. There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever of any biological basis for “transgenderism”, let alone the idea that gender is non-binary, can change rapidly and can be determined by individual preference. In contrast to most gay males and some lesbian females, who have been shown to have a genetic predisposition to same-gender sexuality, all available evidence suggests that “transgenderism” is due to psychiatric disorder, exhibitionistic decadence or calculated choice as represented by television’s Corporal Klinger. It is clear that large numbers of such individuals are being encouraged to join the military so as to receive free sex-change operations from the military health-care system. In addition, filling the armed services with confused and psychoneurotic people who have different identities on different days is inconsistent with military preparedness: the Chinese, the Russians and ISIS do not have troops of changeable gender, and when they make their move, and that day is coming, their armies will not be preoccupied with whether or not they are menstruating and what bathroom they should use.

  12. No way should they ever enlist, i have no issue eith Their lifestyle except i will not allow some “i wanna be a girl” MAN to use the same restroom as my 8 yo grand daughter & and to usr tsx monry to be ussd to pay for hormones / then surgery AND THEN PAY THEM A RETIREMENT MEDICAL DISABILITY….

  13. As a veteran, I’d guess that 99% would support Trump’s decision to restrict enlistment of Tranys. If for no other reason, why should the military (and ultimately the taxpayer) be responsible for “gender reconstructive surgery”?

  14. Thank you Mr. President! It first began with females in the military. Then they shoved gays down our military’s throat. This final straw was transgenders or as I refer to them as IT’s! Women, gays and IT’s have no business on the battlefield! NONE! Now understand, there are numerous ways these individuals can serve their country, but NOT in our military! I’m done! If I continue typing I’ll piss someone off. Time for good change! The last 8 years almost destroyed our nation. Once again, thank you Mr. President!

  15. A good first step in rebuilding & restoring morale in our Armed Forces the Muslim/Commie tried to destroy in his quest to dismantle the USA. The only thing I would have done different is I would have done this the first day in office.

  16. All I can say is “THANK YOU DONALD” !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  17. Stephen Griffith

Yes indeed thank the Good Lord God Almighty!!!! For common sense of President Trump!!! to stand & be counted as one that supports the real Brave Men & Women of the Armed Forces stationed around the world. They’ve enough to worry about facing our Nations Enemies, then having to worry about what to call someone for fear of hurting their feelings. Give me a break, the Armed Forces has been weaked by the past Leftist spineless Propaganda of don’t ask, Don’t tell. And allowing weak minded misfits, to weaken our Nation because the Liberals want to please their supporters. Then they wonder why they can not win elections. They try to leave God & common sense out of everything, & you see what has happened to the Country. Yes I thank The good Lord God Almighty, everyday for this Nation, may we return to the Truth, Faith, Love, Freedom & Peace of God.

  18. Article is right on the money! This topic does not belong on the military’s shoulders for the whackos to confuse the military mission of our armed forces. Obama was a freak and those that supported him even worse! I have never experienced a time more crazy as this for the Dems being lunatics and the Republican elites so turn coat.

  19. The trend in immigration has been going steadily down since 2008 . IN1990-there were 3.5 and by 2007 it was up to 12.2 it now stands 11.3
    Look is up

  20. What we need now is to return sanity at the WH.

  21. Thank You Trump —– I had a hard time serving with the bunk bouncers we had….but they were the first ones that were goned so…….

  22. But who’s going to pay for the surgery and the lifetime hormone shots to violate nature as progressives are wont to do?

Maybe an all Transgender battalion where they can give each other the operations and hormone shots. Skip 1/3 of the battalion’s meds each period and arm them to meet the jihad head on.

  23. I don’t know if it would now be possible, but I’d really like to see Clinton’s “Don’t ask, don’t tell” approach resurrected. I believe that homosexuals and other perverts (new ones seem to be discovered daily) have a right to live, but I don’t want to know them, hear about them. or even be reminded that such things exist.

  24. Legally, a person that has a mental illness can’t and shouldn’t be able to access to a firearm. All branches are taught using firearms.

  25. I don’t give other people’s sexual orientation a lot of thought. But apparently, they do. Having homosexuality, or anything, forced down my throat, or my country’s collective conscience, is not OK with me. Making the homosexual agenda part of our military mission IS that force. Like the medically uninsured 16% of the population, LBGT is an equally small percent of the population demanding the majority of our national attention and energy while ISIS and North Korea threaten our gates. Some things are more important than how people determine to entertain their junk.

  26. NEVER again a PUNK NEGRO THUG in the WHITE HOUSE.. NEVER again a person like the MURDEROUS hillary as a candidate. And as far as Max Waters? She SUCKS big time.

  27. We wouldn’t be having this discussion if the last President hadn’t stuck his nose where it didn’t belong. Bring back DON’T ASK. DON’T TELL.

  28. Frederic Charles Hilnbrand

I hope that this is true. For I read that this is not done till the President makes this real. It is NOT valid just because it was posted on TWITTER and the Military has not changed the rules until it is really changed. I hope he does this for real and stops this transgender people from going into our Military. They can go into the Police or something. After all this is a Obummer special and he did not give a damn about us OR our Military and TRUMP does.

  29. Sanity returns to the military. Sexual preference, of any type, was never a mission. of the military. Maybe a mission of the liberal left, but not the military!!!

    • “you don’t need to be ‘straight’ to fight and die for your country. You just need to shoot straight.”

      Republican Presidential candidate Barry Goldwater

      • And no one in the Military needs to advertise their sexual preferences either. Gays have been in the Military for many many years. The problem arose when they wanted to make an issue of it by “coming out of the closet”. I spent 31 years on active duty and not once did I feel the need to discuss (advertise) my sexual preferences, nor did I need to know anyone else’s preferences. Doing your job as best you can is all that is needed. The homosexuals and transexuals brought this controversy on themselves.

  30. The Joint Chief of Staff, Gen Dunford, Jr., has declared nothing is to happen until the Sec of Defense issues the order. That’s fine, how about “declaring” that any scheduled transformational surgeries be also STOPPED until further orders arrive? Git-er-dun General, you da man!

  31. I would like to see the “draft” started again, also. It it would be an excellent “education” for some of these little
high-strung know-it-alls that these liberal phony professors create!

  32. Why doesn’t Trump fill out the week by attacking Rosy again? There’s still time.

  33. The man has balls. We have not had a president with them since RR. M

  34. right on MR President

  35. TWINS in the ESSENCE of SHIT :Donald Trump and “Patriot” News Daily.

  36. AMEN,PRESIDENT TRUMP!!! FINALLY A PRESIDENT WITH A BRAIN IN HIS HEAD. How could we have come to allowing AND encouraging transgenderd in the military??? The Obamination worked overtime to destroy, embarrass, belittle,etc.,etc. This country. Please God keep this President ,with common sense safe and thank you.

  37. Why not ask some of the troops on the front lines what they think of all this. I am sure you will get some very different answers.

  38. Glad Trump is putting mission first. The military has to focus on mission. Soldiers have to be trained and able to deploy.
Transgenders want the military to pay for their gender reassignment surgery and during that process they are not deployable for up to three years.
Transgenders’ also demand to be addressed by (one of up to 30) gender identity nouns. They want to change the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) to add criminal penalties for any one who (even accidentally) misidentifies them.
Another recent trend is sexual harassment complaints by transgenders. They are upset that others of their original gender simply will not date them. “Bob” who now identifies as “Judy” (and who is still physically a male) is upset that Dave will not date “Judy.”

  39. Transgendered and homosexual people are both examples of malconditioned people. A prominent psychology professor, under whom I studied, stated that human sexuality is malleable. These people tend to seduce younger people of the same sex, conditioning them and “reproducing” themselves in other people. It is both a mental illness and a moral illness. As an Army Chaplain, part of my job description was to interview homosexuals and write a report. If they appeared to be homosexuals, CID would investigate people in their hometowns and if confirmed, they would be discharged. If they were faking being a homosexual to avoid military service, they were in trouble. It is my conviction that they should not be in the military where they will probably be abused, affect morale and weaken military function. A former marine sniper told me that he would not have a homosexual under his command. BTW, they can be changed. Love is a choice. Hate is a choice. I have chosen to love everyone with the God kind of love.

    VIETNAM 1969

    • “you don’t need to be ‘straight’ to fight and die for your country. You just need to shoot straight.”

      Barry Goldwater

  40. What do sex changes have to do with Military service? Those who want a sex change and know that the Military would pay for it will join at once. This freebee was so wrong, since it was paid for from Tax payers money, costing billions, according to research. The same moneys could help other needed projects. Now, I understand that the Pentagon wants to check and debate President Trumps decision, To me that is criminal, not only is he Chief in Command but using my tax Dollars for sex changes feels like paying a prostitute.

  41. Eileen Dannemann

What everyone seems to be missing is that the cause of gender bending whether it be homosexuality or transgender is coming from decades of hormonal disruptors found in agricultural chemicals like DDT,
Atrazine, Alachlor, etc Peter Montague (Rachel’s Hazardous Waste Newsletters) reported this time and time again including that in 1945 male sperm count was down 50%. Now gals can’t get pregnant and must depend on in vitro clinics. The greed in the economic and agricultural sectors have created this aberation. In history there has been gender aberations in nature and the human population but not to this extent. USA was organic before the 1940s and the introduction of herbicides and pesticides. If we continue to accept toxic agriculture and hormonal disruptions we are well on our way to TRANSHUMANISM. Greed has cause this trend and I don’t even think Trump is ready to call out agriculture or the Biotech (GMO) for what it has done. And moreover, gender variance folk don’t want to think that they are abnormal…they just want to believe that this is a normal trend for humanity. Unless we deal with the deep physiological state of transgenderism at relative cause…we are doomed. In the meantime we must, as a society, take responsibility and ensure that a good life and happiness is afforded those beings caught up in this toxic web.

  42. Trump is capable of many”turnarounds” It’s called spinning!!!

  43. That was the best EO yet written since Old Elephant Ears left public housing. Just one thing now, what about the transgenders already in our military? We never got to read the full text of this EO so I was wondering if sex change will be allowed for those still in our military? Well to hear the LBGT’s yelling discrimination I suppose sex change operations won’t happen. The military should transfer those still in to some kind of shock troop unit, then see how they perform or survive. The defense budget should never be used for elective cosmetic surgery. Repair of military scaring from actual service connected wounds, yeah cosmetic surgery, but elective HELL NO. It is not a health issue to want your penis cut off.

  44. Frederic Charles Hilnbrand

President Trump WE the PEOPLE want to THANK YOU for not backing down on the ‘Transgender’ issue and that you are doing everything you can to make our Military the best it can be. These transgenders can go into the police dept. or some other security firm like WalMart. IF these people want to have their operations taken care of BEFORE going into our Military and then go in as either a man or woman that is fine. Our Military and WE the PEOPLE should not have to pay for their operations. Anyone who is against our President for doing this then lts see how they react when a person with a penis comes into the Ladie’s room/bathroom and drops pants to adjust herself in front of them or for what ever. How about IF they are there with their little daughter?? After all that person is a woman, RIGHT?? Talk to the people who wear the uniform and ask them for their thoughts.

If you can find time maybe you could take care of the 2nd amendment issue ountry wide and make it a law so the states can not take these rights from us as they are doing?? Thank You for being our President and will back you on round 2.

  45. If most Vets and current military leaders thinks it’s a bad idea to have Trans in the military, we should listen to what they have to say. As a Vet and taxpayer, I strongly object to having to finance the astronomical cost of sexual readjustment surgery.

  46. The soldiers will be relieved that they won’t have a guy in battle next to him that needs his hormones.

  47. Camille Gilliam

President Trump is totally right in what he has done about the trans situation, sorry but the hormone changes make them to emotional, and they need their team to be right on. I have been around a person that was going thru the hormone thing, and it just will leave the rest of the team in a situation that they will end up getting wounded or killed. We need the strongest military around.

  48. I fact check everything I say in expressing my point-OK-I will play your game-

Number one-Quote per you-“Take the first “lie” Trump said “I wasn’t a fan of Iraq. I didn’t want to go into Iraq.”

You will probably say politifacts is a bias, left wing communist organization and that FOX News is fair and balanced except for Neil Cavuto who is a sell out

Please go to the next Trump lie-
.) JAN. 23 “Between 3 million and 5 million illegal votes caused me to lose the popular vote.” (There’s no evidence of illegal voting.)

BTW-What sources do you use to backup your points of view-I have asked and never received a response-
    Hint-God does not count

  50. Now Trump needs to get all the QUEERS out of the military ASAP

  51. TRANNYS SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO SERVE IF THEY ARE IN SERVICE NOW as many give great service to the country. But… we taxpayers should NOT pay for them to have gender ID surgery or their meds to do so. RESIGN FIRST! They can resign from the military, then get their surgery. They pay! If they require meds, do we pay for those with mental issues to remain in service? Do we pay for those with bi-polar conditions for example or are they asked to resign? The military is NOT for social experimentation. It is to protect the country – not pay for those who annot decide what sex they are or should be.

    • Helen, the military discharge hundreds of soldiers every year due to medical problems. And, as several people have stated, the military is not a VA medical facility—their job is to protect this great Republic. I trust you know that the United States has been the greatest social experiment in the recorded history of this planet. Also, keep in mind that the suicide rate among trans genders is about 4 or 5 times that of the general population. Obviously, they would pose a major problem for all branches of the service. Many people with medical issues, could serve in the military during peacetime, but would not be able to perform when a war breaks out. That is similar to a bunch of high school kids playing pro football.

  52. Malcolm Davidson

I see this as common sense. If the military has to fight, they do not want distractions like this on their hands, as there is a war to fight. The military is not for social experimentation, never has been, nor should it ever be.

  53. The President did the right thing we had a Fraud Gay Man? with a Transvestite for a Wife making these ridiculous decisions for eight years an embarrassment we will never live down. “Evangelicals choosing to overlook some of Trump’s less-attractive qualities” It is His less Attractive Qualities that put Him Head & Shoulders above all the others the Phony Lying Turncoats. I am a Veteran served under Ike we have only had three Presidents since they got away with the Murder of Jack, Ronald Reagan (They Tried) and now Donald Trump. Would not have let my Boy’s Serve under any others.
