(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – On Sunday, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) said that President Biden was too “old” and “boring” to be able to win another presidential election. During an interview on ABC’s “This Week,” Christie said that Biden currently was not an exciting candidate” and that most Americans find him unrelatable.
He further added that the 2020 election was essentially a “gift” and that Biden managed to win because of the toxicity surrounding Trump, as well as the pandemic, which limited the campaigning efforts since he was not able to go out every single day and speak to people. Christie claimed that Biden did not have the stamina and energy required to handle a “traditional” campaign trial.
In 2020, he had the ability to use the pandemic restrictions as a reason why he was campaigning from home, but now he would need to make “seven or eight campaign stops a day at 82 years old.” He added that Biden did not look like he would be able to handle that and that most likely he would make a lot of gaffes in his speeches if he had to do a traditional campaign run.
Biden has not yet officially announced his reelection campaign. According to an ABC-Washington post, the majority of Americans are not interested in a rematch between Trump and Biden in 2024. The majority of Democrats would also prefer to see a different candidate take over and win the party nomination.
