(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – The Senate GOP is looking to former President Donald Trump to retain their small majority in the House of Representatives, as the Democrats continue slowly winning back the chamber, which over the past year has erupted into chaos.

For months the GOP has been confident that in November’s election, they would be able to win the majority in the Senate. However, the House appears to be a different issue as members have indicated that Trump would act as the determining factor on whether they would be able to win the majority or not.

Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) has argued that a House win was entirely dependent on Trump’s success in the upcoming race. He added that if Trump wins the White House, it would be hard for him to see how the Republicans would lose the House. However, he argued that if Trump is not successful in winning the House, then the GOP might end up winning the Senate but losing the House majority.

There are now less than six months until the Election, and the battle for winning the House has become a hot topic. House Republicans are currently dealing with a rather slim margin as they have the House majority by only two seats. Over the last year, there have been several early retirements resulting from the dissatisfaction with the situation currently on Capitol Hill. Dysfunction has also blocked the Republican House from passing any substantial bills over the past year.
