San Fran Mayor: Pelosi is Busy Fighting a “Dictator” in the White House

Asked this weekend to comment on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s decision to defy the city’s coronavirus restrictions to get her hair done at a local salon, San Francisco Mayor London Breed refused to criticize the California Democrat, instead suggesting that Pelosi’s ongoing fight against President Trump is far too important to be weighed down by such a minor controversy.

Asked by the city’s ABC affiliate about Pelosi’s shameful trip to the salon last weekend, during which she was recorded walking around inside without a mask, Breed hinted that the House Speaker should somehow be above criticism because President Trump is such a threat to the nation.

“We have a terrorist, we have a dictator who is running this country and Nancy Pelosi is at the forefront fighting against this person every day, you know, and I’m not trying to excuse what happened,” Breed said. “I’m just saying that to allow an issue like this to turn our city upside down when we got folks who are homeless, we’ve got people who can’t open their business, including these salons. I understand.”

So, let’s get this straight.

One, Pelosi is simply too important for us to worry about her elitist trip to the salon.

Second, Trump is a “dictator.” Which makes us wonder why Pelosi is important at all, given that a “dictator” would hardly be bothered by a nominal political opponent.

Third, there are homeless people in San Francisco, and that is somehow relevant?

Fourth, people can’t open their businesses, which is exactly WHY it is so disgusting for Pelosi to have done this! Does Breed not get the problem? Is she thick in the head or something?

Asked about the protesters who went to Pelosi’s home last week to hang blow dryers and curlers from the trees, Breed dismissed them as little more than a nuisance.

“I get that they have these feelings, they are voicing their feelings, but we are doing the very best we can and I know that’s not good enough for them, I understand,” said Breed. “I get it, but at the end of the day, it is really time for us to move on.”

Ah, just move on. Find something better to worry about. Cool.

Meanwhile, these same people are tearing down Confederate memorials, because that’s totally relevant and timely.

Oh well. Wish Pelosi good luck in her battles against the Dictator. At least she’ll have well-coiffed hair as she goes to war.
