(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – On Sunday, Ronna McDaniel, the chairwoman of the Republican National Committee slammed Republican primary candidate Vivek Ramaswamy over his comments targeting her in the last presidential debate.

In an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union” with Dana Bash, McDaniel told her that the last time she had checked, Ramaswamy was not running for the White House and that he was only at four percent. She proceeded to suggest that Ramaswamy was just making statements in an attempt to make the headlines.

She added that what Republicans actually want the candidates to share is how they are going to go up against President Biden or fix the fentanyl crisis, the situation at the border, and high crime rates. She noted that the party’s voters were also looking to hear the candidates’ plans for restoring education, handling the war in Israel, and the general approach that they will take on several important issues that not only Republicans but also Democrats and independent voters care for.

McDaniel also pushed for the GOP to no longer target one another and pointed out how infighting, as seen through the recent motion to vacate against former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) was counterproductive. McDaniel noted that while Ramaswamy could do what he was doing, she will continue to note that what her party should be doing is attacking the Democrats, not one another.

She also pointed out that the 2024 map was good for the GOP and that they would have the chance to win the Senate, maintain the House majority, and even win the White House.
