Republican Traitor Refuses To Release Details

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) on Sunday would not disclose whether former President Trump would be included in the criminal referrals that the committee responsible for investigating the Jan.6, 2021 insurrection would send to the Department of Justice (DOJ).

During an appearance on ABC’s “This Week,” host Martha Raddatz directly asked whether Trump would be one of those referred. Kinzinger, who is only one of the two Republicans currently sitting in the committee, replied that he did not want the situation to “get too far” and that the final decisions would be made by the committee.

The referrals made by the Jan. 6 Committee will give direction to the DOJ as it will allow them to identify more easily which investigations they should place their focus on.

He added that in his view the criminal referrals were not “pointless” and that it would be clear that the DOJ would take up the effort of investigating the necessary cases.

He added that these cases won’t necessarily bring to the attention of the DOJ something they had not previously known, but rather it would function as a “symbolic” exhibit of what the committee is capable of doing, and will give the DOJ the chance to investigate those crimes that the committee believes have been committed.

The decision to charge is with the DOJ in these cases.
