Republican Governor Bashes Trump

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) has criticized former President Trump from the day that the Democrats began being projected to win the Senate majority. He has also been putting some of the blame for the Republican loss on the former President.

During an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union” with co-anchor Dana Bash, Hogan said that this would be the third election in a row that the Republican party lost because of Donald Trump. He also continued to say “three strikes, you’re out” about Trump.

Bash questioned whether he truly believed that was true, as similar statements had been made after both previous elections, but nothing came of them.

Hogan continued to say that it is “the definition of insanity” for them to be doing the same thing repetitively and hope for different results. Trump had said that the Republicans “will get tired of winning” but the opposite has happened and they are tired of the opposite happening, that is “losing”.

Hogan, a moderate Republican with high approval ratings in a blue state, is going to be succeeded by Democrat Wes Moore, as Republican Dan Cox did not manage to secure a win.
Hogan had refused to endorse Cox, who was a Trump-endorsed candidate, and even went as far as to call him not “mentally stable” after he won the party’s primary.

Control of the House is yet to be determined, but the Democrats will keep their control of the Senate. Democrats are projected to keep their majority in the Senate while political power in the House remains to be determined.

  1. Sounds like Hogan is a Republican trash talker and Should keep his mouth closed. I am a Republican and will support the nominee, whoever it may be.

A word about my Governor Ron Desantis. The word Desanctimonius has been thrown about but I prefer DEFUTURE of the Republican party.

    • Hogan, either get with the program and either get behind Trump or resign. Republicans are getting tired of you Never Trumpers or RINOs. We don’t need your type in office. Qe have enough to contend with the democrats and liberals destroying this country as well as jerks like you in bed with the democrats!

AGAIN, GET THE “H” OUT OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY OR GET BEHIND TRUMP! ENOUGH OF YOU PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE REPUBLICANS THAT GO WITH THE WIND! YOU ARE PATHETIC, HAVE NO BALLS, AND NOWHERE IN THE SAME LEAGUE AS TRUMP, DESANTIS, ABBOTT, AND A FEW OTHERS! YOU ARE HELPING DESTROY THIS COUNTRY. IT’S NOT TRUMP CAUSING THE ISSUES!

  2. No Hogan, we didn’t lose the seats we lost because of Trump, we LOST because of Republicans like you who stab Trump in the back making untrue accusations and blab them to the world. If we could get rid of all the RINO’S like you, we would have won 90% of the red wave. Now we know who not to vote for next Senator election.

  3. I understand you were looking in the mirror when making all these accusations and insults..YOU are right ON!

  4. Good to know who all the corrupt, RINO, Chinese communist and globalist Republican traitors are before he wins and takes office.

  5. Hogan is a Republican who has chosen not to be a Trump LEMMING. Nice to see one GOP politician with some intestinal fortitude.

  6. You need to recognize that Hogan knows how to read the crowd. Maryland is heavily Democratic. A Republican governor is a rare person. To get voted in twice means he understands his constituents (something that neither Trump nor Cox seemed to get).. Hence the loss. In Maryland.
Additionally, Mr Trump really stirs up the opposition like no one in the Democratic Party can. Ergo they will come out to vote against him in droves. While some Republicans are heavily into Trump ,many are uninspired by him and the independent:forget about it.

  7. The issue should be, that there is very little difference between Republican and Democrat. They, politicians will sell their vote for 30 pieces of silver. With few exceptions, RINO’s are becoming the norm in Republican Party. Trump is 100% right in saying we need to clear the swamp. Are politicians are the same as any 3rd world country. They represent themselves, not the people who elected them, which we will never know because of the dishonesty in our elections.

  8. Larry Hogan… More establishment trash. Part of the corruption that we see so much these days. The people will decide how much Trump is loved… We don’t need politicians telling us whether Trump is loved or not.

  9. President Trump kept many people engaged and feeling optimistic about the future election. When McConnell pulled support from candidates it affected the support for those candidates in addition to cutting their media visibility. Maybe Hogan should be considering what did he do to get out the votes in the Republican Party.
