(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – Rapper Cardi B took to Twitter to post a 60-second rant about inflation, which led to her gaining support from conservative activists, celebrities, and influencers. In the viral post which has received over 63,000 likes on Twitter since its posting, Cardi B is asking ‘What the f— is going on?”
As she later explained each week she gets a summary of her household’s spending but that summary has seen a huge increase in the past few months.
As she says “Lettuce was like $2 a couple of months ago and now it’s like f—ing $7.” She then notes that of course, she will say something when she sees such a large increase. The rapper and music star, born Belcalis Almanzar, continued to say that she can only imagine how this tripling of the costs is affecting “middle-class people or people in the hood.” She also says that as someone with a global platform of 27.5 million, she has every right to speak about food inflation despite the fact that she is now rich.
“I want to see for myself” the reason for the price increase she noted. She finished the video by urging all those responsible for the price increase to start decreasing the prices again.
Many commenters expressed support for Cardi B’s Twitter statement. Conservative activist Scott Presler said that he agreed, which is why it was important to have a Republican President elected in 2024.
Influencers Kevin and Keith Hodge, known as the Hodgetwins, also said that Cardi B needed to, “Stop voting for politicians” who were focused on getting money.
Cardi B also told fans that even if they become successful, they’re “gonna go broke soon” because they aren’t careful enough about “budgeting.”
