In the fantasyland constructed by the Democrats and the mainstream media, no one has any clue as to the identity of the whistleblower who kicked off this whole Ukraine scandal. Only the guy’s lawyers know who he is. Not even Rep. Adam Schiff, who has made it is mission to protect the whistleblower, knows the man’s identity. This is what fully-functional adults are expected to believe.
But in the real world, it is an open secret that the whistleblower is CIA analyst Eric Ciaramella, a holdover from the days of John Brennan and Barack Obama who worked closely with 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden on matters relating to – what else? – Ukraine.
On Wednesday, the Washington Examiner published a photograph of everyone’s favorite whistleblower shaking hands with another guy who wanted to take Donald Trump down.
From the Examiner:
A year after Ukraine official and alleged whistleblower Eric Ciaramella left President Trump’s White House, a picture of him shaking Barack Obama’s hand was published on a close friend’s wedding website.
The Oval Office photograph, obtained by the Washington Examiner, is circulating among Trump allies who consider it evidence that the alleged whistleblower is biased against Trump and had partisan motivations when he filed an Aug. 12 complaint that sparked impeachment proceedings.
A Republican close to the White House said the photo was evidence Ciaramella supported Obama and its selection for the wedding website indicated he considered the Oval Office image a “glamour shot.” “This photo confirms that career intelligence and foreign service officials serving at the highest ranks of the Trump White House have their own agenda and their own policy viewpoints,” the Republican source said.
A senior Trump administration official told the Examiner that the photo was incriminating.
“This picture raises serious questions about how this sham impeachment process started,” the official said. “It’s no surprise that Schiff has now changed his story about letting the falsely labeled whistleblower testify.”
Democrats now claim that it is more important to protect the safety and identity of the whistleblower than it is to have Ciaramella come testify before Congress. Indeed, Schiff jumps out of his seat every time Devin Nunes or Jim Jordan try to put his name on the record. He is terrified that Ciaramella will be put under serious media scrutiny. Not because he’s actually afraid for the guy’s safety, but because he knows that it will shed clarifying light on what is, and always has been, a partisan coup against the President of the United States.
