( – On Sunday, GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley warned that a second Trump administration would lead to “chaos.”

Former South Carolina Governor Haley has been surging in the polls following the recent Republican primary debates and is currently fighting with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for second place in the race. Additionally, some of the recent polls have suggested that Haley could be in the best position to beat President Joe Biden in the general election.

A Wall Street Journal poll showed that in a potential head-to-head race between Haley and Biden, Haley would win by 17 points. Haley had the support of 51 percent of respondents, while Biden only received the support of 34 percent of supporters. The poll had a 2.5 percentage point margin of error and included the responses of 1,500 registered voters.

Despite this, Trump continues to be the frontrunner of the Republican primary race, despite the four indictments he is facing. On Sunday, FiveThirtyEight in their polling analysis found that Trump had the support of 62.4 percent of GOP voters, while DeSantis had the support of 12.3 and Haley of 10.9 percent of likely Republican voters.

On Sunday, during an interview with ABC News This Week with co-anchor Jonathan Karl, Haley noted regarding Trump that there was currently a “lot at stake” and the majority of Americans were not open to a possible rematch between Biden and Trump. She further warned that if Trump won a second term in office it would bring “chaos.” As she pointed out, looking at the situation in the United States, they could not afford to have another four years of “chaos.”
