(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – Only hours before former President Donald Trump is expected to turn himself in following his recent indictment by a Fulton County grand jury, he has made changes to his defense team. Trump was indicted in Georgia on charges relating to his attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in the state.

According to CNN, Trump has now added to his team Atlanta-based defense attorney Steven Sadow, who has previously had a number of high-profile clients including radio host Howard Stern, and rappers Rick Ross and Tyrone Griffin, known as “Ty Dolla $ign.” Drew Findling, one of the lawyers who had been a member of Trump’s defense in Georgia so far, is going to be replaced by Sadow.

Sadow released a statement in which he noted that Trump has retained him for the Georgia case. He added that the former President is innocent and that there should not have been any charges brought forth against him. As he noted he was looking forward to having the case completely dismissed, or if needed to have an “unbiased, open-minded jury” determine that the U.S. President is “not guilty.”

Last week, Trump was indicted on 13 counts relating to his attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in Georgia. The indictment was led by Fani Willis, the Fulton County District Attorney, and included details about the pressure Trump put on campaign officials, the lawsuits looking to overturn the results of the election and a scheme to have fake electors state that Trump and not Biden had won the presidential election in the state.
