(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – Mitt Romney in a recent statement called George Santos a “sick puppy” following a clash between the two on Tuesday after the State of the Union.

Santos, who is currently facing a lot of criticism over the revelations of his lies about his background as well as his campaign finances, had positioned himself in the central aisle of the House of Representatives and had tried to greet many dignitaries as they walked in. However, Santos did not get a very warm reaction from Senator Romney. In a video that was shared online the two could be seen having a relatively heated exchange when they came across each other.

While talking with Reporters Romney admitted that he had told Santos that he did not “belong here.” Santos took to Twitter to call Romany “a much bigger a******.”

When talking to the journalists, Romney said that he did not remember exactly everything he had told Santos, but that Santos is “a sick puppy.” Romney also added that he knew what Santos had said when Romney had told him he did not “belong here.”

Romney said he really had not expected Santos to be standing there waiting to greet and shake hands with every Senator and even the President of the United States when he is facing an ethics investigation. Instead, he had been sitting in the back quietly.

Santos has admitted to having made up “embellishments” regarding his resume and professional life.
