(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – Migrants are reportedly rushing to enter the United States while President Joe Biden is in the White House as they are worried that, after November, former President Donald Trump might win back the White House. Trump has vowed that if he wins the election he is going to close the U.S. border.
Two brothers from Colombia, 18-year-old Sebastian and 20-year-old Ricardo, who had illegally crossed into the country through the Southern border in Arizona, told the New York Post they believed crossing into the U.S. would become much harder after the election. Sebastian specifically stated that they did not want Trump.
The two brothers crossed through the southern border and then claimed asylum, citing that there were criminal threats in their own country. The two had turned themselves in and were released by Border Patrol agents to the Yuma Regional Center for Border Health. Their asylum hearing has been scheduled to take place in October.
The two brothers have received assistance from a local nonprofit organization to keep them afloat as they waited to take a flight to New Jersey. During that time, they also spoke on the phone with their mother, while the aid group had been waiting for their arrival in New Jersey.
Last week, the Wall Street Journal argued that Trump allies were already preparing for how they would proceed with Trump’s “largest mass deportation effort” if he wins in November. Trump, who is running to be the 47th President, has argued that he would be using the military and local law enforcement to successfully deport the close to “20 million” illegal migrants.
Biden took office in January 2021, and since then there have been 7 million illegal entries into the United States, with around 1.7 million having crossed into the country without having been apprehended.
