(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – On Tuesday, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy showed House Republicans a video that features President Biden claiming that there was no wrongdoing connected to the Biden family business activities. The video was played only a day before the expected Congressional hearing with a whistleblower who is set to reveal how the probe into Hunter Biden had been politicized.
Fox News Digital obtained a copy of the video which clearly showcases a timeline in which Biden is defending the actions of his family. However, the video also features IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley who has claimed that the IRS investigation was blocked from taking any actions that might lead them to President Biden.
On Wednesday, Shapley – along with an unidentified whistleblower – will appear before the House Oversight Accountability Committee where they are set to talk about how the Justice Department blocked the investigation into Hunter Biden’s business dealing. This hearing connects many of the investigations led by the Oversight Committee and the House Judiciary and Ways and Means committees, all of which are looking into Hunter Biden, and James Biden, who is Joe Biden’s brother.
A source close to McCarthy revealed that the video was used to inform the general House Republican conference about their standing concerning the Biden family investigation. It also showcases how central to the Republican efforts the investigation is, as top Republicans have pursued these investigations since winning the House majority in the midterm elections.
The investigation can also help as a unification point for the Republican conference which has been fractured in the last few months.
