(PatriotNewsDaily.com) – On Tuesday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) slammed a Republican colleague over the suggestion that a motion to vacate against Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) was not off the table following the recent spending deal that he had reached with the White House and the Senate.

Greene, who has expressed her opposition to the spending deal, argued that one of the main things she has complained about in Congress is that the Republican conference members were not communicating with one another. As she pointed out on Monday Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) had claimed that a motion to vacate Johnson was not off the table. However, Greene argued that Roy’s decision to just throw around such a claim was the “dumbest thing” he could have done, especially as she considered that the previous ousting was “pretty stupid” and had just led to chaos within the conference.

She proceeded to call for people to look at the results of the previous ousting, which has not led to any appropriations being passed, and members of Congress being expelled. This has further reduced the already slim majority previously held by the GOP.

On Monday night, Roy argued during an interview with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins that he had been unhappy about the spending deal. He proceeded to dodge a question over whether or not he would move forward with a motion to vacate Johnson. Instead, he argued that they needed to figure out how to do things together and that many of his Republican colleagues were frustrated over what had happened during the week.
