Liberals HATE Trump’s New Patriotic Message for American Workers

Oh, you can just FEEL the anger coming off the left in waves. They despise President Trump’s new three-week campaign to promote patriotism and generate nationalist excitement among Americans. The campaign kicked off this week with “Made in America” week, which is themed to put a spotlight on American workers and products made in the U.S.A. Before the week had even begun, you had dozens of snide stories in the Washington Post and other left-wing outlets criticizing Trump for making his branded clothing overseas, downplaying the efforts he’s already made to bring jobs back to this country, and even to insinuate that there was something vaguely racist about such a campaign to begin with. Which shouldn’t come as any surprise, since liberals have been allergic to patriotism for years now.

Nonetheless, these themed weeks should speak to many Americans who are just glad to have someone in the White House who actually speaks their language.

“This week the Trump administration will honor the amazing American workers and companies who have products that are made in America,” said Helen Ferre, the White House director of media affairs.

As part of the week’s events, the White House held a showcase featuring American-made products from all 50 states on Monday. On Wednesday, Trump will keep the festivities rolling with an address to the American people emphasizing the importance of making sure jobs and factories stay right here in this country.

“For too long our government has forgotten the American worker. Their interests were pushed aside for global projects and their wealth was taken from the communities and shipped overseas,” said Ferre on Sunday. “Under the leadership of President Donald Trump, not only will the American worker never be forgotten, but they will be championed.”

We’ll grant that President Trump could strengthen the message by committing his company to buying only American-made products, but, at the end of the day, we’re not really sure how much it would help. Trump could do that on Tuesday and the attack dogs in the media would simply move on to some other critique of his administration on Wednesday. If he learned anything from the Michael Flynn fiasco, it’s that you cannot EVER satisfy the bloodthirst of the left. Once you start heading down that road, there’s no going back.

Besides, it shouldn’t make any difference. This isn’t about Trump’s company, this is about his presidency. This is about bringing back to this country a spirit of patriotism and a can-do attitude that was wholly missing from the Obama years. Oh, they like to say things like “Yes we can,” but the “can” they’re saying “yes” to doesn’t have anything to do with true American values. It has to do with blaming, accusing, and playing the perpetual victim. Trump wants to inspire those who will actually WORK to make America great again, and there are millions of people who have been waiting for that message for a long time.

  1. Lets face it, The Left hates America!

The first thing the Left has to do before they “rebuild” America is to break America down. That is why everything they say, and everything they do is against Capitalism, as while someone runs away from Capitalism they run towards Communism…..

The Left has been at it for a long time. If you look at the book “The Naked Communist” which has a list of agenda Items the communists of old were following in order to weaken America’s institutions (same goals as the Left) you will find:

    13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.

    • You nailed it! The Progressive Left Loonies wants to change America; as Obama stated.
It goes way back….The Communist Takeover Of America – 45 Declared Goals

      Communist Goals (1963) Congressional Record–Appendix, pp. A34-A35 January 10, 1963
      11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)

      15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States. They have control over the new Socialist Democratic Party.

      17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
Remember ***On June 17, 1963 the U.S. Supreme Court concluded that any Bible reciting or prayer, in public schools, was deemed unconstitutional.***

      21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

      26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”

WAKE UP AMERICA….WE HAVE TO CALL/VOTE/ & DEMAND ACTION..START AT YOUR LOCAL OFFICIALS.

  2. President Trumps inaugural speech:

“Today’s ceremony, however, has very special meaning. Because today we are not merely transferring power from one Administration to another, or from one party to another – but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the American People.
For too long, a small group in our nation’s Capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost.
Washington flourished – but the people did not share in its wealth.
Politicians prospered – but the jobs left, and the factories closed.
The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country.”
    —–Donald Trump

It is time for We the People to take back America from the Elites. Pray for Trump.

    • Funny, that is what DC was ALWAYS about — it IS a European-owned corporation that is set up to pretend to be our government — ever since 1871 when it was put in and DC was created, set up under European Law and NOT OUR LAW.

      • I am not convinced of that. The Constitution is a unique document when it comes to ruling bodies.

The Constitution is the supreme law of the land. It has been usurped by the swamp in DC.

        • I want to believe what you are saying MAHBoo1. But after some of the stuff I have seen and experienced. I fear Ladd is right. Never in my life did I even think a smidgen of what’s happening in this day and age I would see. Sad day’s ahead for everyone I fear if we don’t run these anti-Americans out of this country and clear out all the corruption in our institutions. May God bless everyone. But I think he has turned his back on this immoral nation and the world. His wrath is just starting to show in our weather patterns as told by his son Jesus Christ Our Lord.

          • Keep praying, God does not turn his back on those that believe in Him.

          • I AGREE, do NOT think that God has turned his back on US.

          • Enough of us prayed, and God did find a solution to what would have been the end of the Republic in the form of Hillary Clinton. Thank God….

          • One other thing, If one believes as Ladd does that the corruption of America goes all the way back to the start, then you really don’t believe in America does one?

I believe that revisionist versions of American history that show hate have been generated by those that wish to destroy America. I believe Ladd’s version only serves the ones that wish to overthrow our Government.

From “The Naked Communist” agenda items, that were designed by Communists with the intent to weaken America’s institution and resolve.

            29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
            30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”

What is happening within our Government is more than likely due to #15

            15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

Elite Democrats = Elite Republicans = Elite MEDIA = Liberal Progressive Big
            Government Communists.

            Big Government = Communism

The Elites have fundamentally transformed our country from Of the People, By the People, and For the People, to: Of the Elites, By the Elites, and For the Control of the People by the Elites…This is Communism.

The elites are the traitors, they no longer work for the good of the people.

          • Stephen Kirtland

You are spot on about the distortion of America by the communist enemy. Most people in this country have never read the original writings of the early settlers or the founding fathers. It has taken thousands of years of people enduring the oppression of rulers and ruling classes to develop a system of liberty for the common man. It is liberty and private ownership of property that has produced more wealth than any empire or nation of the past. That wealth has brought about a new culture of creativity, free thinking and the intrinsic value of the individual. It’s not perfect, and we have gotten off track in some instances, for ideas that aren’t in our best interests, but our system holds the best chance for change and redirection. When in doubt, the wise men say, keep it simple. Stick to basics and make changes slowly. If we stand strongly for our constitution and the principles of liberty, the forces, and the people, who seek to crush our great republic will be stymied at every turn. Never let us lose our faith in God and country and we will overcome.

          • How true

          • Very well said. Keep sounding the horn of freedom and don’t let the Left have the last word with their lies.

I have found that simply questioning their facts is more than enough to derail them.

          • NOT from the start. It was from after the Civil War when they feared they were going to go bankrupt, and WANTED the World Bank to “help” them, after Lincoln had gotten us out and was assassinated because of that.

          • I DON’T WANT to overthrow our government, I want us to re-convene our own government outside of DC and under OUR flag and OUR Constitution, with OUR Laws, NOT the European Law used by the fake government in DC.

          • OUR Constitution is a GREAT document, we need to have our government UNDER it, as it was meant to be before the corp took over. THJAT was a scam and it WAS treason against our country, maintained by all the career politicians who have perpetuated this scam until now. ALL of the DC politicians are corporate officers, and DC is a corporate town with a corporate police force.

          • Are you talking about the Federal Reserve? That was much later wasn’t it?

          • It IS a later incarnation of our being held by the World Bank, the Rothchilds, etc…. Lincoln got us out and printed the greenbacks to pay for the costs of the Civil War, got assassinated for doing it — the government in session was so afraid of going bankrupt that they negotiated with the world Bank and when they created the corp and DC the world Bank “supported” them — and put in its OWN tame government, as per the agreement. THAT was treason to this country, done by the last session of our actual government. After they passed the Act in 1871, on 22FEB 1871, our government has been the corporation in DC, having ITS officials elected as we were used to so that there seemed to be no difference — but they are corp officials and NOT OURS. Our true government has never convened again — never abolished, just replaced. DC was set up so that the corp government ruled us with the laws of Europe, our own are set aside as much as they can do.

          • Do you have a plan of attack? What needs to be done? Audit the Fed? I think that is a good starting point.

          • I don’t really know, except that we need to generally understand what the situation is before we can change it — but to change it, really ALL we need to do is to convene our government on American ground, NOT IN DC, and under our own flag specifically, and under our forefathers’ Constitution FOR the united States, written in 1787. That was a beautiful work of art in governing, that got derailed when the switch took place. WE the People can insist on the different location, I am sure that Donald Trump would agree, but once we had a government convened under our own legal structure it will be over, they DON’T have a leg to stand on, it is EASY to demonstrate the simple facts of their serving a different flag and their own version of a “constitution”, we just need to INSIST it be correct and true to our government. What can they do, they have no jurisdiction OUTSIDE of DC anyway. OUR government will once again be a government of our People and for them, as it was set out to be — no arguments possible. As for unravelling the phony statutes and Amendments done by the faux “government” in DC, I think that can just follow. We OF COURSE need new Representatives and Senators, those we have now are contaminated with cross-purposes and the European corp’s agendas, and there should no longer be any “career” politicians, that invites dishonesty and NOTHING ELSE. I don’t claim to know all we need, but there are those who do know the points needed and how to deal with them, the basic problem is simple. What we have now is illegitimate, illegal and with no jurisdiction, so they are a paper “tiger”, typical of what a corporation is. Auditing the FED? No. Close it down. It is a department of the corp, NOT anything to do with this country. Just step outside of the tiny area that they were given control of in 1871. DC. YouDO know that the Federal Reserve is NOT FEDERAL and HAS NO RESERVE? It is an offshoot of the World Bank, NOT OURS. We need to print our OWN currency, just like Lincoln did. His greenbacks stayed in circulation until about 1998 before being retired, and HAD NO INTEREST ADDED TO THAT $10,000,000 DURING ALL THOSE YEARS. Why should our government — AND OUR COUNTRY — GIVE AWAY INTEREST CHARGES ON ALL MONEY PRINTED FOR US. Should we be in debt the moment the money is printed, and go deeper in debt every day? That is just STUPID. Of course, there are people making TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS for doing this to us, we may need to protect ourselves from them also. Remember, every president that tried to leave the World Bank in our history were at least attempted to be assassinated, and that WAS why Lincoln was assassinated. A LOT of rich crooks who will call out contracts for their losses. We will need to protect ourselves if we wish to be honest, but we can, I am sure. Crooks that stay out of jail by having all the witnesses killed NEED to be prosecuted FOR THAT TOO. This is nothing new. Just repeats of history by those who keep the ignorance of the past.

          • Understand, I am NOT claiming I am so intelligent and know so much — just some very simple points that are not even really hidden anyway. The ones promoting this make it so complex that it looks unsolvable — but it is essentially simple and is clear to see if we just look. As long as we do nothing but implement the SYMBOL of our country over our elected government and PUT the Constitution written for us where it belongs, as the framework of our country, NOTHING can legally stop us. It HELPS that DC was set up with only a municipal (city) government, that means that the very Act that put them there also limits them so they have nothing legal to fight with. And, in our Constitution, We The People ARE the government.

          • Stephen Griffith

Around 1913 I do believe. I could be wrong, but it was forced on the American People. This was also after the sinking of The Titanic in 1912 in which many that did not support the Federal Reserve Bank or it’s Collection arm the IRS. The men that died were some bankers & captains of industry. Their only mistake other than getting on the Titanic was they didn’t support The Federal Reserve, so they had to go. That’s history.

          • Ladd, I am having trouble with Disqus or PatriotNewsDaily. It seems that your days worth of comments have links that led me to a page or comment that has been suspended. This is only happening on PatriotNewsDaily and when I surfed to the home page without following the Disqus link, I found that the entire site had been suspended. That was on Firefox.

So I downloaded a different browser and surfed over to patriotNewsDaily.com without logging in and here I am.

Technology quite often has qwerks, but I am the kind of guy that loves conspiracies.

Long story short, I am getting your comments via email updates from Disqus, but having trouble getting back to this site to respond. Hope to talk to you soon.

          • Sorry about that. I DID have one I had to edit that I accidentally put a typo of “link[.]to” (without the brackets) which became a link to something or other, not sure if that was what happened. Anyway, I did fix that after. CUL then.

          • Especially trump and his cabinet!

          • I want the government of the founding fathers restored. NOT this European scam put over on us, I do NOT want Communism. Also I am totally against slavery EVEN THOUGH the amendments to OUR Constitution since 1871 were ALL bogus and invalid, as are all the statutes passed by them. We DO have a job restoring what our country SHOULD BE.

          • Ladd,

In my own ignorance I may have interpreted some of your comments in the wrong way. I will continue to study what you are saying, but in the mean time could you spell out the treasonous act that happened in 1871?

            I am a very slow learner… 🙂

          • Not a slow learner, you know more than most do, plus you are actually THINKING, there is nothing greater in a person’s value than that! I was spun for a while when I first started to actually understand what was happening, took me MONTHS to get some sense of simplicity over it! I don’t think we have so much a fight as that we need to ABSOLUTELY cleave to our Constitution, TO THE LETTER — and we cannot go wrong. We have a President that will LOVE to do this for us, TOO! The odds of getting this chance to bring our country back were TINY, with all the crime and fraud that was aligned to keep the crooks in power, I firmly believe that God IS on our side, and He HAS SHOWN THAT IN THIS ELECTION. The more they do to stop us the more obviously criminal they are, and we will take them ALL DOWN.

          • What I was specifically saying, I looked back — I capitalized Act, was specifically referring to the fact that the Act of 1871 WAS treason to our country and its government, because it gave it away to basically an enemy in this context. England was NOT our friend in those days, as we had just broken from them in was was (correctly) treason from THEIR POV.

          • Starting to understand.

          • It IS a severe shock to see what was done, expect to take a while to assimilate it — as i told you, it took ME months to get beyond anger and upsetness when I thought it might be too late.to fix. I had no one to help, in fact until I had a better understanding of it, it sounded REALLY impossible. The part that I think helped me the most was the point that I realized that as bad as this false government IS, they do NOT want to push us over the edge into a violent revolt. They are trying to keep us feeling as fat and happy as they can, in order to keep the scam going. So we are NOT looking at huge problems. I realize that Arkancide is a possibility, but then decided I did not CARE, we must become aware to correct it — and let the chips fall where they may. I expect it will be fairly bloodless, what blood id shewd will probably be covert and hidden, in the form of Arkancide — referring to the Clinton body trail.

          • If one was to truly look at what the founding fathers wrote for this country you will find one very basic idea. That idea has not changed, in modern times. The rules are the same, it is the liars, liberals, snowflake, socialist, and dumocrats, that includes laying solicitors, barristers, and so called attorney’s that have worked at changing the words, meanings and basic idea to suit themselves. Remember when the word “GAY” had a real meaning? Gay 20’s gay ol time meaning fun happiness and more. Now if that is said some idiot thinks it means something totally different. No the law is and will always be what the founding fathers made it. It is us that have allowed it to be changed in most cases for the worst.

          • That is sort of true, as ONLY DC serves the false flag, but we think that DC IS OUR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, and it is NOT. Check the Act of 1871 andf look at it closely, DC was set up to be rule by European influence, only when it was set up, it Does have a merely municipal government, with NO jurisdiction beyond its actual borders — AND, THE UNITED STATES in caps is the corporation name of the government to act from DC, and in the start it mentions all in caps, THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, which is the “constitution” that the corp owns — NOT the Constitution FOR the united States written by our forefathers in 1787. As subtle as the flag that DC serves under, which looks so much LIKE our flag, just has a gold fringe around it. But that is legally significant, it is the flag representing “High King’s Law” of Europe, and is called the Admiralty Flag, which actually referred to the Admiralty of England. No one connects the dots much.

          • anAmericanByChoice

And anything beyond the Declaration of Independence, and the original Constitution and BoR (first 12 Amendments) should be pretty much erased and trashed… By the same token, the mafia called the Federal Reserve should be abolished and all those behind it thrown in prison for crimes against these the United States of America and We the People! Every property tax, hidden tax, every law created and implemented to weaken the way people can stand for themselves and become independent, be it local, or federal, should be abolished. All the land the government owns, other than what is constitutionally allowed (very little!,) should be returned to the people. All the depts of government, from the BLM to the Dpt. of Ed., EPA, etc., should be trashed, closed down. The only money allowed should be real money, aka, gold and solver, not worthless garbage, aka, fiat money, paper bills backed by nothing but empty promises, etc., etc., etc. Put an end to illegal immigrants, close and defend the borders, ship out all aliens that refuse to integrate and try to impose any laws that are in contradiction with the Laws of the Land (ex. Sharia,), put an end to anchor babies, stop giving USA nationality and citizenship to babies born within borders to alien parents who are visiting, who are here illegally, or who just travel here to give birth; God, the list is never ending! But correct me if I am wrong.

          • Gotta correct you….The BofR (Bill of Rights) is the first 10 amendments, not 12!! So far as “federal lands” goes, I agree with you 100%. The Constitution is specific on what lands the Feds can own. The Federal Government procured those lands, for the most part by subtrifuge(sic). They belong to the people, not the government and should be returned to the states.
Defense of our borders is a simple thing to do. Bring our military home from these warring nations and place them along that border at specified distances so that a cockroach couldn’t get through.

          • No, you are TOTALLY CORRECT, and I agree completely, but also we need to put the Constitutional Law as set up in the Constitution back into place and null out all of the statutes since 1871 that are actually done in European Law and NOT the Law of OUR Land, which was established and set up in our Constitution. Since DC was set up under European Law FOR the corp, we need to move our seat of government anywhere BUT in DC, and simply reconvene under our flag and our Constitution.

          • I expect it WILL be a daunting task, but at least the legality is simple enough, even the Supreme Court which IS actually a department of the corp found in Baron vs THE UNIOTED STATES that the gorp has the problem of having no sovereignty, so has no power OVER sovereigns, cannot OWN them as is claimed by the corp, as guarantors of THEIR DEBT.

          • Our enemies are controlling words and their version of history in order to fool the people into becoming subservient to them.

            It is an evil plot.

          • this is proof you are paranoid….I will continue to send this message to you as I see you paranoid statements-

          • This is proof that you are a victim of ideological subversion (an evil plot). and also proof that I am not paranoid.

Shall I send this to you every time you attempt to use the paranoid argument to disprove my statements without facts?

            https://youtu.be/mqSV72VNnV0

          • this is your response to almost everything…everyone has seen this multiple times…it’s your gospel. It of itself is paranoid…everyone that disagrees with you is a victim of ideological subversion..it’s just plain crazy..I’m sorry but someone has to tell you. Have you spoken to a mental health professional about this obvious obsession?

          • Facts are facts. Just trying to help you.

If all you have is an insult, in response, you pretty much admit that I am right.

So far all you offer is insults… I have got to wonder why….

          • Gay of today was and will always be Queer of the past for me.
It’s no way Queer can be interpreted as gay.

          • I agree with you completely, you know. I want us to be the nation that we were meant to be, think that we REALLY HAVE A CHANCE NOW. It WILL take a LOT OF WORK — I do not dispute that. But there are people who know what we need, I have faith that they will come forward, and as long as we keep our Faith we CAN PREVAIL. Simple concept, I do NOT know what it takes beyond the simple essence of the problem, I have boiled it down to that — all that I can lay claim to. Let others take the details, the basic concept is enough to guide with. AS LONG AS WE KEEP OUR FAITH AND OUR INTEGRITY.

          • I would suggest ‘fascism’… vs communism… as we have the bulk of government ‘owned’ by the corporate elite. We’re back to a modern day Tea Party!

            Both suck, of course!

          • I see fascism and communism as siblings of the same family.

            Communism – Marxist-Leninist system.
the Marxist-Leninist version of a classless society in which capitalism is overthrown by a working-class revolution that gives ownership and control of wealth and property to the state.

            Fascism- Dictatorial movement
any movement, ideology, or attitude that favors dictatorial government, centralized control of private enterprise, repression of all opposition, and extreme nationalism

In all Communists states, the PARTY is the top dog, and all of them have required a dictator to keep control of the people.

            Capitalism – Free-Market System
an economic system based on the private ownership of the means of production and distribution of goods, characterized by a free competitive market and motivation by profit
Crony Capitalism is the flow of wealth to a small group of people who are already wealthy and well connected. Typically between the Government and business owners. I see this as just another form of Communism where the Elites are selling Government favors to the rich to benefit the rich in exchange for power and control.

Our current struggles are clearly Capitalism vs Communism. There is no doubt in my mind that Trump is a Capitalist, and his writings and actions say that he is doing it for the people, and not the rich…

Not sure what the Tea Party has to do with this, but few really understand the Tea Party anyway.

          • Which do you prefer or it seems which combination do you prefer-You are describing.with the exception of fascism/diictatorship, only economic systems here- so you would combine a governmental and an economic system-what do you want?

          • I would say that our Constitution describes and supports an economic system that supports individual freedoms and individual ownership of property.

I find it hard to separate Capitalism from the United States Constitution and
Communism from an economic system where the people work for the State, which is close but not equal to socialism where the people work for the collective.

            Does that answer your question?

          • Partially-We both agree that capitalism is the best economic system-what is the best governmental/political system you would match it with?

          • The United States and its Constitution that supports Capitalism is by far the best governmental/political system that the world has seen.

It has generated the greatest wealth, it has offered its people the greatest chances for advancement, and that combination has created the greatest and most magnanimous Country history has seen.

Currently what is happening in America is:

Elite Democrats = Elite Republicans = Elite MEDIA = Liberal Progressive Big
            Government Communists.

            Big Government = Communism

The Elites have fundamentally transformed our country from Of the People, By the People, and For the People, to: Of the Elites, By the Elites, and For the Control of the people by the Elites…

            This is Communism.

            The elites are the traitors.

Don’t get me wrong, there are still people within our Government that are still working FOR the people, but we must root out all the wolves in sheep’s clothing. From both parties.

          • Can you define the word elite as you are using it?

            A elite republican is-

            A elite democratic is

            Elite media is

            Thanks

          • Why yest I can, and I did.

There are many groups of elites, elite politicians, elite athletes, elite rich dudes.

I say the Elite Republicans = Elite Democrats = Elite MEDIA and the whole lot of them are Communists. You can tell an elite politician by his/her actions and not by their words. If the elite politicians actions goes against the better interest of their constituents while lining their own pockets with power and wealth. You might be an Elite Politician.

          • I don’t get it-Do rich dudes and athletes have constituencies?

          • Yes, even astronauts and war heroes have constituencies if they are elected to office.

It seems you do not want to face facts is this correct?

          • I wasn’t talking about the current astro-turf Tea Party… but the original and real event… which was a direct protest of corporate controled government. Trump has no interest whatsoever in doing anything for “The People”… unless “The People” are named Trump. The ‘Capitalism vs Communism’ theory is too shallow. The system is rigged to put the bulk of profits in the hands of a few, and keep “the worker” on a subsistence level only. It’s a feudal system and they want us as ‘serfs’. Our government should be the protectorates and servants of the people, not the device of the ruling elite. ‘Unrestrained’ capitalism… or the alleged ‘free-market’ term is just code for leave us alone, so we can exploit and rule… without rules. Our electoral system is a sham… and getting worse. Which puts our democracy on life-support… if it’s not already dead.

          • Actually, my understanding is that the original tea party was a direct protest of high taxes by a government that the people had no representatives in.

I find it amazing how the Left rewrites history to suit their needs. This has become a very dangerous form of propaganda.

As for your claims on Trump, you have no proof, and your opinion really is quite tainted by your bigoted ideology. Which leads you to come to rather incorrect conclusions based on ideological propaganda.

A study of Trumps inaugural speech shows that Trump is working to take the Government away from the few and give it back to the people, as it was originally intended. Trump has done nothing to make me think that he was lying.

Unrestrained capitalism is nothing more than capitalism at its best, and nothing to be worried about because we experience unfettered capitalism every day at swap meets throughout the world without loss of life or massive enslavement of the people.

What we should and MUST be wary of is restrained Capitalism.

What you call for is RESTRAINED capitalism which is a slope that leads towards communism with the Government controlling the means of production. How convenient of the Left to get people to run away from Capitalism directly into Communism…

The fallacies of your arguments is that they are based on false history and hate of Capitalism. Communists have implanted that hate of capitalism because they know while you are running away from Capitalism, you are running directly into the arms of socialism/communism.

Capitalism is NOT rigged, it simply relies on YOUR ability to produce something that someone else wants.

          • Don’t need revisionist or ignorant history from you. You have NO CREDIBILITY at all… except amongst your brainwashed cohorts. Here’s a link from FOX NEWS… talking about Trump lies… even they’re getting sick of it.

            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_q4U0f60TsM

Your slings and insults don’t bother me… we’ll just have to agree to disagree.

          • Projection, you have been brainwashed well. Now the Left is calling pro American history revisionist history….. Interesting projection. Wont work though.

Both Shep and Chris are on the wrong side of this story, proving that Fox is still reporting fair and balanced.

          • Pure delusion about so many things…. primarily, your abiding trust and faith in anything that comes out of Trump’s mouth. His history, track record and hundreds of videos, transcripts, etc. PROVE beyond any reasonable doubt that he is a blatant liar. He is a world-wide embarrassment to this nation and I hope you’ll wake up to that fact.

The catch word here is “reasonable”. You are the defined antithesis of it. Please, don’t bother to reply. It would be a waste of your time… and mine. Thanks

          • I don’t trust anything coming out of anybodies mouth anymore. But what I do have is the ability to judge what is coming out of a persons mouth and tell if it is the truth. Regardless of whom that person is.

On the other hand, you do not have that capability. As you assume that everything coming out of a Conservatives mouth is a lie, and everything coming out of the Lefts mouth is the truth..

For instance, there are not hundreds of videos of and a track record of Trump lies, you were told that by some talking head and accepted it as gospel, because it fits your narrative. .

Which puts YOU in a position of complete and total gullibility. With the crap that you consume every day you are the perfect useful idiot.

          • The only thing I can agree with you on is… “I don’t trust anything coming out of anybody’s mouth…” But, then you lapse into some sort of prophetic delusion that you can judge whether or not people are lying. Which I KNOW is B.S…. because you think Donald J. Trump is an honest human being. Stunning. YOU DON’T KNOW ME… and your assertion that you can determine my ability to discern ‘truth’ is absurd, at best.

I don’t think everything coming out of a ‘Conservative’ is a lie, nor do I give the “Left” a pass either. The fact that you DON’T KNOW there is abundant, verifiable proof of Trump’s lying…. is YOUR FAULT. Nobody told me to accept it. I’ve seen them… heard them…. witnessed them. And you could too, if you made the effort. We ALL could have and should have know that… long before he was allegedly elected. This man is a completely unqualified political-infant, ego-maniac, narcissist and sexual creep… and when he says he can stand in the middle of Time Square, kill someone… and get away with it… it’s because of people like you! (Here’s a clip of something, if you can stomach it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xecEV4dSAXE

You have no idea what I consume every day, but thinking you do… which makes you the ‘Perfect and useless Idiot…..

          • We just lived through 8 years of hell where Democrats completely missed every lie put out by their politicians. Including missing all the lies about 0bamacare and Benghazi. They FAILED to hold their politicians accountable.

Proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Left (including you) is incapable of recognizing a lie from the truth. Apparently they merely rely on the R and D behind the persons statement to decide if it is a lie. I am tired of the same old hypocritical crap that Republicans always lie and Democrats always tell the truth.

            You have zero credibility.

I am glad you provided your little John Oliver video as it explains part of your problem. Along with not being able to identify a lie or not you are not able to identify an opinion either.

Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one, and everybody thinks everyone elses stinks.

John Oliver offered up his OPINION without facts. He called Trump a liar because Trump said that his inauguration was the biggest ever. That was Trumps opinion, and Trumps opinion was wrong. I am willing to give Trump the benefit of the doubt that when standing on that stage and taking the oath of office, he thought the crowd was bigger than the others. This was not an intentional lie.

Next up was the “election was marred by massive voter fraud” with no proof . This too is Trumps OPINION, and thus not a lie. Besides, there is evidence of massive voter fraud in the form of a confession by a DNC operative that actually sent DNC operatives into Trump rallies to create disturbances. I’ll bet that if the CORRUPT MEDIA spent 1/10th the time on digging into that confession as they have on the FAKE Russian hacking stories that they would have their proof.

Because John Oliver is calling Trump a liar, it is up to JOHN OLIVER to present the proof, (smoking gun proof) that Trump was lying. Otherwise, the entire clip is full of the hacks opinions, and they stink.

I on the other hand, gave 0bama the benefit of doubt until he was proven a liar. But once 0bama proved to me though his own words that he was lying about Benghazi, I no longer feel the need to give the guy the benefit of doubt.

On top of that, once you are proven a liar like Hillary and 0bama, and you make a questionable statement like 0bama did in the 65 lies/untruths that he made in his second video it is up to the LIAR to prove his statements. When the statements are contradictory to the ACTIONS like in the case of the 65 lies, one is a fool to take a liars word at face value without considering that he is lying.

            Deal with it.

          • What a hilarious rant! Thanks for the entertainment!

          • You have been weighed, you have been measured, and you are just a looser.

            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdhQWkTl1PQ

          • LOL… snappy comeback there, Ace. I note your ‘Hero-in-Chief” uses that ‘looser’ term often… when he can’t think of anything intelligent to say.

So, a new day… a new LIE and ‘broken promise’ from ‘your’ faux-POTUS. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/donald-trumps-past-statements-lgbt-rights/story?id=48858527

          • All I can say is my enemy is an animal, in order to conquer him, you must think like a looser.

            https://youtu.be/iR0sWU1HzTE

ABC is no longer a credible news organization if it were it would be able to tell the difference between a transgender person and the entire LGBT community. But, when you got an agenda to push, some things just need to be suppressed eh?

          • MY agenda, if I had one… would be to encourage neophyte, coolade-soaked morons into a state of greater awareness. Sadly, you can’t save them all.

So, in your ‘need’ to get in ‘THE LAST WORD’… have at it, sport! But, this entertaining exercise is over for me. I wish you the best. I actually do… because I assume you’re an American, who loves this country… and wants it to be a better place for you, your family and friends now… and for generations to come. Peace

          • Think about your next comment. Does it break down your enemies with insults, is it filled with a hate America message? If so, it serves only to promote socialism/Communism in a Country that is just the opposite.

I will continue to fight socialism/communism until hell freezes over, then I will grab a pair of skates and fight on the ice.

            God Bless

          • ‘Thinking about my next comment”…. It was not necessarily directed at YOU, but even so, fights fire with fire for the multiple insulting comments on your part. I should have raised above it. So, I apologize. But, I find great irony that so many dwell on a blog site, designed by a right wing, ‘conservative’ think tank, to advance a propagandist agenda (as does the ‘left’… but they’re not as good at it), yet so many profess to be ‘free-thinkers’… telling ME… that I hate America because I don’t think their way. My father served in THE GREAT WAR, my brother is a Viet Nam era vet (army)… I’ve attended the funerals and shed tears for Veterans and friends I’ve lost. The depth of empathy, compassion and respect I have for them… CANNOT be measured. (And, I have a product, that donates the profits to our local Veterans chapter.)

So, your assertion that I ‘hate America’ couldn’t be further from the truth, as well as your label that I am a ‘Leftist’, Liberal or Democrat. I share many conservative views, consider myself an “Independent”… and say with great pride, that some of my very best friends are polar opposites to me politically. What we recognize is that we have much more in common that those things that divide us… including love of country.

Do you believe that Denmark; Finland; Netherlands; Canada; Sweden; Norway; Ireland, New Zealand, Iceland, Belgium … or Switzerland’s are ‘communist’ countries? (Most of these countries are also in the Top Ten Happiest Countries to live in. US was 14th) Do you think Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.. are an “Entitlement”? I don’t! I’ve paid into it for 40+ years. it’s MY money! Do you think ‘healthcare’ should be a fundamental human right and not a privilege and profit center? I do! That doesn’t mean I want to live in a ‘socialist’ country or society… but these are moral and ethical questions that need to be addressed for the greater good of society as a whole. We need to live with conscience and a sense of ethics. There are those born with disabilities. Should we not take care of them? Should we exterminate them because they’re inferior? I would hope you’d say no.

If we have the good fortune and privilege of economic success, we have the right to live in a bubble or ‘gated community’ and say, what’s mine is mine and you can’t have it. I’m fine with that. But, I’m also fine with trying to lift up those around me… or those less fortunate… or those who have sacrificed for the honor and dignity of our country… who now struggle with the scars of what they endured. I feel… we all bear some responsibility for that. if you don’t, that’s fine… That’s YOUR right.

It is not a black and white world. We all come from the same seed of humanity. We can all do better. We have to. In that… I hope we can agree. Thanks

          • Bdog

I got this rather nicely penned response from you but cannot find the post. So I will put it here and this will be my last post you. I can be reached in private through the contact page at https://www.madashellboycott.com/contact-mad/

If you have found my posts to be over the top it is only because I respond in kind. I have taken some of your posts as insulting (rightly or wrongly I am not sure now). That always brings out the worst in me. It seems that I have gone too far and for that I apologize.

I truly hope that you are not a leftist or part of the left. I have a very poor opinion of those that are part of the left. I believe they are communists. And it is not my intention to group people as communists unless they do the bidding of such communists. There are many fine liberals, Democrats, independents, and even true progressives that are not part of the left. The left does hate America, the left does want to destroy our belief system, our history and our institutions because they know if we reject our institutions they can instill communism in its place. When I get passionate and start insulting, it is the left that I direct my insults towards.

Do I believe that Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Ireland, New Zealand, Iceland, Belgium… are communist countries? No I don’t. Do I think that because these countries are considered in the top 10 happiest countries to live in that that is some type of reason to emulate or change our government to fit more closely to their government? No, I think that those stats are designed once again by some very evil people to get Americans to reject their government and their institutions. I question the source of the most happiest countries to live in poll.

Do I think Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are entitlements? No I do not, nor do I think they are good examples of socialism. For the very same reasons that you listed.

Do I think healthcare should be a fundamental human right and not a privilege and profit center? No health is not a human right. Neither is healthcare. This is not a government problem, this is a humanity problem. Governments are not very good at humanity problems.

I believe that if you had all your money that you paid into Social Security over the years in your control you would use it more efficiently and more each effectively ban the government is doing for you. In short you would get more for your bang.

I believe America has always lived with good conscience and good sense of ethics. That is why I reject the hate America revisionist versions of history. We do take care of those in lesser positions and in need of help. I believe we always have. That includes the wars that we have been in. What I disagree with is the way the left forces others to be compassionate. Compassion is not taking money from the people and giving it to the poor. That is stealing from the people, skimming off your percentage, and then giving the scraps to the poor. Compassion is giving of yourself to the poor, freely and without coercion (taxes). .

            Take care, God Bless,

          • Well said…. Thank you!!

          • people (MAHM001&Trump)who call people losers are losers.

          • I only push back as hard as I am being pushed.

          • “Actually, my understanding is that the original tea party was a direct protest of high taxes by a government that the people had no representatives in.Actually, my understanding is that the original tea party was a direct protest of high taxes by a government that the people had no representatives in.”

You understanding is only partially correct

The original pre revolutionary war Tea Party was protesting the “British East India Company” and “crony capiltallsm “fostered by the British Government

          • Yep, taxes without representation.

Crony Capitalism is just another form of a Government that we do not want to live with.

          • I think we are more fortunate than THAT, as WE are NOT the government in DC, which is a criminal usurper, and God DOES know this. They actually have no power except that we believe them and have gone along without argument — but we are NOT citizens of a corp, NOT owned by them and they, ANY corp, have no sovereignty by the nature of what a corp is. Check out Baron vs THE UNITED STATES, an interesting case in the Supreme Court, notice what the finding of the court shows of the power and authority of the court of the corp.

          • God has NOT turned His back on US — He made Trump become our President, didn’t He? I would say that God HAS turned his back on those who are pretending to be our rulers in DC, however. HE has given a chance to us when I had thought that we were DONE. We NEED TO TAKE IT AND MAGA! REALLY.

          • You can’t prove there is a god and you can’t prove there isn’t…So using a god to prove a point has zero credibility-Use provable information to make your arguments.People may then take you seriously-

          • So, that only is indication that you are an atheist, I feel sorry for you on that. I am not “using” God to prove ANY point, and that you think it is even NECESSARY is an affront to logic. Plus, I see it as your own fear coming out. Nothing else. I knew that you are but one of the ignoramus trolls here ANYWAY, that is obvious also.

          • Seems like you are trying to say that because President Trump was elected there must be a God-Where is the logic in that?Using that logic God elects all public officials-That is illogical-Just sayin”

          • Well sure when you go before God you can tell him that you don’t believe in him how’s that, but he won’t except you’re well I was just ignorant of the fact, that is not going to fly my friend!

          • Who other than a Supreme Being (God) is smart enough to combine a group of atoms together to make life?

So when you clever enough to turn inorganic material into organic material, your argument might have merit, and perhaps we will take you seriously.

So my challenge to you is to round up all the inorganic atoms found in a human body, throw it into a bathtub and do your magic.

Otherwise, those that have faith, are far smarter than you, just because they are smart enough to realize that something far greater than humans created life.

          • You are not responding directly to my post-You just redirected by asking me to create a human body.

Does God elects all public officials as you imply? Stick to the subject please-

          • I believe anybody that is as smart as you, that can come to the conclusion that there is no God, then that person must be smart enough to have figured out how to start life, without a God.

            Thus the challenge.

          • There go go again…I have to ask again-

You are not responding directly to my post-You just redirected by asking me to create a human body.

Does God elects all public officials as you imply? Stick to the subject please-

          • I think you are confused and frustrated because you can’t answer my question which basically says that you can not prove that God doesn’t exist and you are not smart enough to perform the basic stuff like creating life. Which leads us to wonder why you are posing the question in the first place.

I am not convinced God would have chosen that we elect kings and dictators at all. After all He questioned the need for the first kind Solomon.

So no, God does not elect all public officials as you incorrectly say that I imply.

          • last chance to tame the beast-I hope it works for all our sakes-although Trump is going down anyway….

          • It is amazing the swill you will swallow. That article if true is a perfect example of how someone that knows absolutely nothing but writes things as if he/she was a fly on the wall.

But very good deflection…. So because YOU with all your wisdom and knowledge about everything, can not re-produce life from a grain of sand and some water, can not replicate what God actually did, and therefor have proven the existence of God.

Just thought I would sum it up for you. Very nice deflection though.

          • “…. So because YOU with all your wisdom and knowledge about everything, can not re-produce life from a grain of sand and some water, can not replicate what God actually did, and therefor have proven the existence of God.

I am not God….because one can’t prove there is a god and one can’t prove there isn’t.

God is a belief-beliefs are no proveable-That’s why it’s called “belief”.

We will see if it isn’t true that Trump will go down(out of office by non electoral means)

Back to what you deflected-You appear to refuse to defend -THE LIES OF TRUMP-

it.) JAN. 21 “A reporter for Time magazine — and I have been on their cover 14 or 15 times. I think we have the all-time record in the history of Time magazine.” (Trump was on the cover 11 times and Nixon appeared 55 times.) JAN. 23 “Between 3 million and 5 million illegal votes caused me to lose the popular vote.” (There’s no evidence of illegal voting.) JAN. 25 “Now, the audience was the biggest ever. But this crowd was massive. Look how far back it goes. This crowd was massive.” (Official aerial photos show Obama’s 2009 inauguration was much more heavily attended.) JAN. 25 “Take a look at the Pew reports (which show voter fraud.)” (The report never mentioned voter fraud.) JAN. 25 “You had millions of people that now aren’t insured anymore.” (The real number is less than 1 million, according to the Urban Institute.) JAN. 25 “So, look, when President Obama was there two weeks ago making a speech, very nice speech. Two people were shot and killed during his speech. You can’t have that.” (There were no gun homicide victims in Chicago that day.) JAN. 26 “We’ve taken in tens of thousands of people. We know nothing about them. They can say they vet them. They didn’t vet them. They have no papers. How can you vet somebody when you don’t know anything about them and you have no papers? How do you vet them? You can’t.” (Vetting lasts up to two years.) JAN. 26 “I cut off hundreds of millions of dollars off one particular plane, hundreds of millions of dollars in a short period of time. It wasn’t like I spent, like, weeks, hours, less than hours, and many, many hundreds of millions of dollars. And the plane’s going to be better.” (Most of the cuts were already planned.) JAN. 28 “The coverage about me in the @nytimes and the @washingtonpost has been so false and angry that the Times actually apologized to its dwindling subscribers and readers.” (It never apologized.) JAN. 29 “The Cuban-Americans, I got 84 percent of that vote.” (There is no support for this.) JAN. 30 “Only 109 people out of 325,000 were detained and held for questioning. Big problems at airports were caused by Delta computer outage.” (At least 746 people were detained and processed, and the Delta outage happened two days later.) FEB. 3 “Professional anarchists, thugs and paid protesters are proving the point of the millions of people who voted to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” (There is no evidence of paid protesters.) FEB. 4 “After being forced to apologize for its bad and inaccurate coverage of me after winning the election, the FAKE NEWS @nytimes is still lost!” (It never apologized.) FEB. 5 “We had 109 people out of hundreds of thousands of travelers and all we did was vet those people very, very carefully.” (About 60,000 people were affected.) FEB. 6 “I have already saved more than $700 million when I got involved in the negotiation on the F-35.” (Much of the price drop was projected before Trump took office.) FEB. 6 “It’s gotten to a point where it is not even being reported. And in many cases, the very, very dishonest press doesn’t want to report it.” (Terrorism has been reported on, often in detail.) FEB. 6 “The failing @nytimes was forced to apologize to its subscribers for the poor reporting it did on my election win. Now they are worse!” (It didn’t apologize.) FEB. 6 “And the previous administration allowed it to happen because we shouldn’t have been in Iraq, but we shouldn’t have gotten out the way we got out. It created a vacuum, ISIS was formed.” (The group’s origins date to 2004.) FEB. 7 “And yet the murder rate in our country is the highest it’s been in 47 years, right? Did you know that? Forty-seven years.” (It was higher in the 1980s and ’90s.) FEB. 7 “I saved more than $600 million. I got involved in negotiation on a fighter jet, the F-35.” (The Defense Department projected this price drop before Trump took office.) FEB. 9 “Chris Cuomo, in his interview with Sen. Blumenthal, never asked him about his long-term lie about his brave ‘service’ in Vietnam. FAKE NEWS!” (It was part of Cuomo’s first question.) FEB. 9 “Sen. Richard Blumenthal now misrepresents what Judge Gorsuch told him?” (The Gorsuch comments were later corroborated.) FEB. 10 “I don’t know about it. I haven’t seen it. What report is that?” (Trump knew about Flynn’s actions for weeks.) FEB. 12 “Just leaving Florida. Big crowds of enthusiastic supporters lining the road that the FAKE NEWS media refuses to mention. Very dishonest!” (The media did cover it.) FEB. 16 “We got 306 because people came out and voted like they’ve never seen before so that’s the way it goes. I guess it was the biggest Electoral College win since Ronald Reagan.” (George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama all won bigger margins in the Electoral College.) FEB. 16 “That’s the other thing that was wrong with the travel ban. You had Delta with a massive problem with their computer system at the airports.” (Delta’s problems happened two days later.) FEB. 16 “Walmart announced it will create 10,000 jobs in the United States just this year because of our various plans and initiatives.”(The jobs are a result of its investment plans announced in October 2016.) FEB. 16 “When WikiLeaks, which I had nothing to do with, comes out and happens to give, they’re not giving classified information.” (Not always. They have released classified information in the past.) FEB. 16 “We had a very smooth rollout of the travel ban. But we had a bad court. Got a bad decision.” (The rollout was chaotic.) FEB. 16 “They’re giving stuff — what was said at an office about Hillary cheating on the debates. Which, by the way, nobody mentions. Nobody mentions that Hillary received the questions to the debates.” (It was widely covered.) FEB. 18 “And there was no way to vet those people. There was no documentation. There was no nothing.” (Refugees receive multiple background checks, taking up to two years.) FEB. 18 “You look at what’s happening in Germany, you look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this?” (Trump implied there was a terror attack in Sweden, but there was no such attack.) FEB. 24 “By the way, you folks are in here — this place is packed, there are lines that go back six blocks.” (There was no evidence of long lines.) FEB. 24 “ICE came and endorsed me.” (Only its union did.) FEB. 24 “Obamacare covers very few people — and remember, deduct from the number all of the people that had great health care that they loved that was taken away from them — it was taken away from them.”(Obamacare increased coverage by a net of about 20 million.) FEB. 27 “Since Obamacare went into effect, nearly half of the insurers are stopped and have stopped from participating in the Obamacare exchanges.” (Many fewer pulled out.) FEB. 27 “On one plane, on a small order of one plane, I saved $725 million. And I would say I devoted about, if I added it up, all those calls, probably about an hour. So I think that might be my highest and best use.” (Much of the price cut was already projected.) FEB. 28 “And now, based on our very strong and frank discussions, they are beginning to do just that.” (NATO countries agreed to meet defense spending requirements in 2014.) FEB. 28 “The E.P.A.’s regulators were putting people out of jobs by the hundreds of thousands.” (There’s no evidence that the Waters of the United States rule caused severe job losses.) FEB. 28 “We have begun to drain the swamp of government corruption by imposing a five-year ban on lobbying by executive branch officials.” (They can’t lobby their former agency but can still become lobbyists.) MARCH 3 “It is so pathetic that the Dems have still not approved my full Cabinet.” (Paperwork for the last two candidates was still not submitted to the Senate.) MARCH 4 “Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!” (There’s no evidence of a wiretap.) MARCH 4 “How low has President Obama gone to tap my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!” (There’s no evidence of a wiretap.) MARCH 7 “122 vicious prisoners, released by the Obama Administration from Gitmo, have returned to the battlefield. Just another terrible decision!” (113 of them were released by President George W. Bush.) MARCH 13 “I saved a lot of money on those jets, didn’t I? Did I do a good job? More than $725 million on them.” (Much of the cost cuts were planned before Trump.) MARCH 13 “First of all, it covers very few people.” (About 20 million people gained insurance under Obamacare.) MARCH 15 “On the airplanes, I saved $725 million. Probably took me a half an hour if you added up all of the times.” (Much of the cost cuts were planned before Trump.) MARCH 17 “I was in Tennessee — I was just telling the folks — and half of the state has no insurance company, and the other half is going to lose the insurance company.” (There’s at least one insurer in every Tennessee county.) MARCH 20 “With just one negotiation on one set of airplanes, I saved the taxpayers of our country over $700 million.” (Much of the cost cuts were planned before Trump.) MARCH 21 “To save taxpayer dollars, I’ve already begun negotiating better contracts for the federal government — saving over $700 million on just one set of airplanes of which there are many sets.” (Much of the cost cuts were planned before Trump.) MARCH 22 “I make the statement, everyone goes crazy. The next day they have a massive riot, and death, and problems.” (Riots in Sweden broke out two days later and there were no deaths.) MARCH 22 “NATO, obsolete, because it doesn’t cover terrorism. They fixed that.” (It has fought terrorism since the 1980s.) MARCH 22 “Well, now, if you take a look at the votes, when I say that, I mean mostly they register wrong — in other words, for the votes, they register incorrectly and/or illegally. And they then vote. You have tremendous numbers of people.” (There’s no evidence of widespread voter fraud.) MARCH 29 “Remember when the failing @nytimes apologized to its subscribers, right after the election, because their coverage was so wrong. Now worse!” (It didn’t apologize.) MARCH 31 “We have a lot of plants going up now in Michigan that were never going to be there if I — if I didn’t win this election, those plants would never even think about going back. They were gone.” (These investments were already planned.) APRIL 2 “And I was totally opposed to the war in the Middle East which I think finally has been proven, people tried very hard to say I wasn’t but you’ve seen that it is now improving.” (He was for an invasion before he was against it.) APRIL 2 “Now, my last tweet — you know, the one that you are talking about, perhaps — was the one about being, in quotes, wiretapped, meaning surveilled. Guess what, it is turning out to be true.” (There is still no evidence.) APRIL 5 “You have many states coming up where they’re going to have no insurance company. O.K.? It’s already happened in Tennessee. It’s happening in Kentucky. Tennessee only has half coverage. Half the state is gone. They left.” (Every marketplace region in Tennessee had at least one insurer.) APRIL 6 “If you look at the kind of cost-cutting we’ve been able to achieve with the military and at the same time ordering vast amounts of equipment — saved hundreds of millions of dollars on airplanes, and really billions, because if you take that out over a period of years it’s many billions of dollars — I think we’ve had a tremendous success.” (Much of the price cuts were already projected.) APRIL 11 “I like Steve, but you have to remember he was not involved in my campaign until very late. I had already beaten all the senators and all the governors, and I didn’t know Steve.” (He knew Steve Bannon since 2011.) APRIL 12 “You can’t do it faster, because they’re obstructing. They’re obstructionists. So I have people — hundreds of people that we’re trying to get through. I mean you have — you see the backlog. We can’t get them through.” (At this point, he had not nominated anyone for hundreds of positions.) APRIL 12 “The New York Times said the word wiretapped in the headline of the first edition. Then they took it out of there fast when they realized.” (There were separate headlines for print and web, but neither were altered.) APRIL 12 “The secretary general and I had a productive discussion about what more NATO can do in the fight against terrorism. I complained about that a long time ago and they made a change, and now they do fight terrorism.” (NATO has been engaged in counterterrorism efforts since the 1980s.) APRIL 12 “Mosul was supposed to last for a week and now they’ve been fighting it for many months and so many more people died.” (The campaign was expected to take months.) APRIL 16 “Someone should look into who paid for the small organized rallies yesterday. The election is over!” (There’s no evidence of paid protesters.) APRIL 18 “The fake media goes, ‘Donald Trump changed his stance on China.’ I haven’t changed my stance.” (He did.) APRIL 21 “On 90 planes I saved $725 million. It’s actually a little bit more than that, but it’s $725 million.” (Much of the price cuts were already projected.) APRIL 21 “When WikiLeaks came out … never heard of WikiLeaks, never heard of it.” (He criticized it as early as 2010.) APRIL 27 “I want to help our miners while the Democrats are blocking their healthcare.” (The bill to extend health benefits for certain coal miners was introduced by a Democrat and was co-sponsored by mostly Democrats.) APRIL 28 “The trade deficit with Mexico is close to $70 billion, even with Canada it’s $17 billion trade deficit with Canada.” (The U.S. had an $8.1 billion trade surplus, not deficit, with Canada in 2016.) APRIL 28 “She’s running against someone who’s going to raise your taxes to the sky, destroy your health care, and he’s for open borders — lots of crime.” (Those are not Jon Ossoff’s positions.) APRIL 28 “The F-35 fighter jet program — it was way over budget. I’ve saved $725 million plus, just by getting involved in the negotiation.” (Much of the price cuts were planned before Trump.) APRIL 29 “As you know, I’ve been a big critic of China, and I’ve been talking about currency manipulation for a long time. But I have to tell you that during the election, number one, they stopped.” (China stopped years ago.) APRIL 29 “I’ve already saved more than $725 million on a simple order of F-35 planes. I got involved in the negotiation.” (Much of the price cuts were planned before Trump.) APRIL 29 “We’re also getting NATO countries to finally step up and contribute their fair share. They’ve begun to increase their contributions by billions of dollars, but we are not going to be satisfied until everyone pays what they owe.” (The deal was struck in 2014.) APRIL 29 “When they talk about currency manipulation, and I did say I would call China, if they were, a currency manipulator, early in my tenure. And then I get there. Number one, they — as soon as I got elected, they stopped.” (China stopped in 2014.) APRIL 29 “I was negotiating to reduce the price of the big fighter jet contract, the F-35, which was totally out of control. I will save billions and billions and billions of dollars.” (Most of the cuts were planned before Trump.) APRIL 29 “I think our side’s been proven very strongly. And everybody’s talking about it.” (There’s still no evidence Trump’s phones were tapped.) MAY 1 “Well, we are protecting pre-existing conditions. And it’ll be every good — bit as good on pre-existing conditions as Obamacare.” (The bill weakens protections for people with pre-existing conditions.) MAY 1 “The F-35 fighter jet — I saved — I got involved in the negotiation. It’s 2,500 jets. I negotiated for 90 planes, lot 10. I got $725 million off the price.” (Much of the price cuts were planned before Trump.) MAY 1 “First of all, since I started running, they haven’t increased their — you know, they have not manipulated their currency. I think that was out of respect to me and the campaign.” (China stopped years ago.) MAY 2 “I love buying those planes at a reduced price. I have been really — I have cut billions — I have to tell you this, and they can check, right, Martha? I have cut billions and billions of dollars off plane contracts sitting here.” (Much of the cost cuts were planned before Trump.) MAY 4 “Number two, they’re actually not a currency [manipulator]. You know, since I’ve been talking about currency manipulation with respect to them and other countries, they stopped.” (China stopped years ago.) MAY 4 “We’re the highest-taxed nation in the world.” (We’re not.) MAY 4 “Nobody cares about my tax return except for the reporters.” (Polls show most Americans do care.) MAY 8 “You know we’ve gotten billions of dollars more in NATO than we’re getting. All because of me.” (The deal was struck in 2014.) MAY 8 “But when I did his show, which by the way was very highly rated. It was high — highest rating. The highest rating he’s ever had.”(Colbert’s Late Show debut had nearly two million more viewers.) MAY 8 “Director Clapper reiterated what everybody, including the fake media already knows — there is ‘no evidence’ of collusion w/ Russia and Trump.” (Clapper only said he wasn’t aware of an investigation.) MAY 12 “Again, the story that there was collusion between the Russians & Trump campaign was fabricated by Dems as an excuse for losing the election.” (The F.B.I. was investigating before the election.) MAY 12 “When James Clapper himself, and virtually everyone else with knowledge of the witch hunt, says there is no collusion, when does it end?” (Clapper said he wouldn’t have been told of an investigation into collusion.) MAY 13 “I’m cutting the price of airplanes with Lockheed.” (The cost cuts were planned before he became president.) MAY 26 “Just arrived in Italy for the G7. Trip has been very successful. We made and saved the USA many billions of dollars and millions of jobs.” (He’s referencing an arms deal that’s not enacted and other apparent deals that weren’t announced on the trip.) JUNE 1 “China will be allowed to build hundreds of additional coal plants. So, we can’t build the plants, but they can, according to this agreement. India will be allowed to double its coal production by 2020.” (The agreement doesn’t allow or disallow building coal plants.) JUNE 1 “I’ve just returned from a trip overseas where we concluded nearly $350 billion of military and economic development for the United States, creating hundreds of thousands of jobs.” (Trump’s figures are inflated and premature.) JUNE 4 “At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is ‘no reason to be alarmed!’” (The mayor was specifically talking about the enlarged police presence on the streets.) JUNE 5 “The Justice Dept. should have stayed with the original Travel Ban, not the watered down, politically correct version they submitted to S.C.” (Trump signed this version of the travel ban, not the Justice Department.) JUNE 20 “Well, the Special Elections are over and those that want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN are 5 and O!” (Republicans have won four special elections this year, while a Democrat won one.) JUNE 21 “They all say it’s ‘nonbinding.’ Like hell it’s nonbinding.” (The Paris climate agreement is nonbinding — and Trump said so in his speech announcing the withdrawal.) JUNE 21 “Right now, we are one of the highest-taxed nations in the world.” (We’re not.) JUNE 21 “You have a gang called MS-13. … We are moving them out of the country by the thousands, by the thousands.” (The real number of gang members deported is smaller.) JUNE 21 “Your insurance companies have all fled the state of Iowa.” (They haven’t.) JUNE 21 “If [farmers] have a puddle in the middle of their field … it’s considered a lake and you can’t touch it. … We got rid of that one, too, O.K.?” (The Obama environmental rule to limit pollution in the country’s waters explicitly excludes puddles.) JUNE 21 “Gary Cohn just paid $200 million in tax in order to take this job, by the way.”(Cohn sold Goldman Sachs stock worth $220 million.) JUNE 21 “We’re 5 and 0.” (Republicans have won four special elections this year, while a Democrat won one.) JUNE 21 “Last week a brand-new coal mine just opened in the state of Pennsylvania, first time in decades, decades.” (Another coal mine opened in 2014.) JUNE 22 “Former Homeland Security Advisor Jeh Johnson is latest top intelligence official to state there was no grand scheme between Trump & Russia.”(Johnson, who had a different title, didn’t say that.) JUNE 23 “We are 5 and 0 … in these special elections.” (Republicans have won four special elections this year, while a Democrat won one.) JUNE 27 “Ratings way down!” (CNN’s ratings were at a five-year high at the time.) JUNE 28 “Democrats purposely misstated Medicaid under new Senate bill — actually goes up.” (Senate bill would have cut the program deeply.) JUNE 29 “General Kelly and his whole group — they’ve gotten rid of 6,000 so far.” (The real number of MS-13 gang members who have been deported is smaller.) JULY 6 “As a result of this insistence, billions of dollars more have begun to pour into NATO.” (NATO countries agreed to meet defense spending requirements in 2014.) JULY 17 “We’ve signed more bills — and I’m talking about through the legislature — than any president, ever.” (Clinton, Carter, Truman, and F.D.R. had signed more at the same point.) JULY 19 “Um, the Russian investigation — it’s not an investigation, it’s not on me — you know, they’re looking at a lot of things.” (It is.) JULY 19 “I heard that Harry Truman was first, and then we beat him. These are approved by Congress. These are not just executive orders.” (Presidents Clinton, Carter, Truman, and F.D.R. each had signed more legislation than Trump at the same point in their terms.) JULY 19 “But the F.B.I. person really reports directly to the president of the United States, which is interesting.” (He reports directly to the attorney general.)

          • It is not up to me to prove those accusations wrong, it is up to your lazy ass to prove them correct.

They are lies, they are unproven, this is like me accusing you of being smart, yet I have no data to back up my claim.

So you prove that Trump was actually lying when he said that he had been on the cover 14 or 15 times… I say Trump was WRONG, but he was not lying….

It is hypocritical of you to view Trump as lying about something as insignificant as that, and then turn around and say that 0bama was WRONG about Benghazi, or 0bamacare… In both cases, we have more than enough evidence to prove that 0bama lied…

You accused Trump of lying, it is CIVILIZED to give the person the benefit of doubt, you are uncivilized, and quite frankly stupid. Can’t be fixed.

You have no honor, integrity, or shame.
You falsely accuse people of lying without proof which in the civilized world is worse than lying itself.

If you want to continue a civilized discussion, you will start by proving your accusations and simply copying some other idiots text won’t do it.

This only holds true if good people don’t challenge the lies. It is up to you to prove those lies, and you have failed…. Shame on you.

FEB. 18 “And there was no way to vet those people. There was no documentation. There was no nothing.” (Refugees receive multiple background checks, taking up to two years.)

            Refugees Entering the U.S. Already
            Face a Rigorous Vetting Process

President Trump has suspended entry of all refugees to the United States for 120 days, and he has barred Syrian refugees indefinitely. The current screening process for all refugees involves many layers of security checks before entry into the country, and Syrians were subject to an additional layer of checks. Sometimes, the process, shown below, takes up to two years.

            1. Registration with the United Nations.

            2. Interview with the United Nations.

            3. Refugee status granted by the United Nations.

            4. Referral for resettlement in the United States.

The United Nations decides if the person fits the definition of a refugee and whether to refer the person to the United States or to another country for resettlement. Only the most vulnerable are referred, accounting for less than than 1 percent of refugees worldwide. Some people spend years waiting in refugee camps.

            5. Interview with State Department contractors.

            6. First background check.

            7. Higher-level background check for some.

            8. Another background check.

The refugee’s name is run through law enforcement and intelligence databases for terrorist or criminal history. Some go through a higher-level clearance before they can continue. A third background check was introduced in 2008 for Iraqis but has since been expanded to all refugees ages 14 to 65.

            9. First fingerprint screening; photo taken.

            10. Second fingerprint screening.

            11. Third fingerprint screening.

The refugee’s fingerprints are screened against F.B.I. and Homeland Security databases, which contain watch list information and past immigration encounters, including if the refugee previously applied for a visa at a United States embassy. Fingerprints are also checked against those collected by the Defense Department during operations in Iraq.

            12. Case reviewed at United States immigration headquarters.

            13. Some cases referred for additional review.

Syrian applicants must undergo these two additional steps. Each is reviewed by a United States Citizenship and Immigration Services refugee specialist. Cases with “national security indicators” are given to the Homeland Security Department’s fraud detection unit.

            14. Extensive, in-person interview with Homeland Security officer.

Most of the interviews with Syrians have been done in Jordan and Turkey.

            15. Homeland Security approval is required.

            16. Screening for contagious diseases.

            17. Cultural orientation class.

            18. Matched with an American resettlement agency.

            19. Multi-agency security check before leaving for the United States.

Because of the long amount of time between the initial screening and departure, officials conduct a final check before the refugee leaves for the United States.

            20. Final security check at an American airport.

          • It seems your slanderous comments may be crossing more than my lines.

Here is my response to your accusation that Trump Lied about vetting people…

This is a case where you do not know the difference between a lie and being wrong. There is a slim to zero possibility that Trump might be wrong about our knowledge of the vetting process, but you have ZERO evidence that he lied about his knowledge of vetting.

Based on what Comey said, there is equally enough data from TRUSTED sources, and not politically driven sources like the UN to draw from to support the temporary freeze on refugees.

I would say Trumps cautions temporary pause in the refugees until our Government figures it out was well advised and wise.

            https://youtu.be/63Z2HB3IqFw

          • The facts I presented are not slanderous comments-they are the facts-and all are proveable-

Trump is wrong Trump has lied in all this cases presented -Some partially most completely

Definition-lie-an inaccurate or false statement; a falsehood.

          • Those are not facts that you present, they are opinions…. Now it seems that you do not know the difference between an opinion and a fact, and a lie….

I don’t know about your dictionary but I suspect that you are cherry picking the information out of yours because my dictionary when it comes to a transitive verb which I believe is what we are talking about has the following:

            Lie,
            1. deliberately saying something untrue.
            2. be deceptive

bottom line the crap that you presented was nothing more than slanderous comments by their authors and shame on you for copying them and calling Trump a liar without smoking gun proof.

the proof is still on you to provide.

          • From what sources to you get your factual proof?

          • can you be just a tiny more specific?

          • I just don’t understand your question.

One draws facts from everywhere, books, radio, TV, magazines, conversations, viewing things… One draws facts from what they see , what they hear, what they feel.

Are you asking me how I determine what is a true and what is false?

Facts are known to be true…

            Does that help you?

          • So it’s only a lie if there is intent? That is you are a aware and mean to hem or deceive?

          • That is my understanding of a lie. The deliberate telling of a falsehood, knowing that you know the information was wrong and misleading.

          • Another day,another lie-

“I got a call from the head of the Boy Scouts saying it was the greatest speech that was ever made to them, and they were very thankful,”

TIME Magazine-Boy Scouts ‘Unaware’ of Call Trump Said He Received From Organization Praising Jamboree Speech
            Alana Abramson
            Updated: Aug 01, 2017 8:23 PM ET
President Donald Trump told the Wall Street Journal that after his controversial speech at the Boy Scouts National Jamboree in West Virginia, the head of the Boy Scouts called him and told him it was “the greatest speech that was ever made to them.” But the organization told TIME they are unaware of any call from national leadership placed to the White House.
“The Chief Scout Executive’s message to the Scouting community speaks for itself,” the organization said, referring to a July 27 statement from Michael Surbaugh, the Chief Scout Executive for the Boy Scouts of America, who apologized to anyone in the scouting community who could have been offended or alarmed by the political rhetoric in the speech.
“For years, people have called upon us to take a position on political issues, and we have steadfastly remained non-partisan and refused to comment on political matters. We sincerely regret that politics were inserted into the Scouting program,” Surbaugh wrote.
The President also told the paper he did not find his politicized speech to the Boy Scouts last month to be controversial, despite Surbaugh’s apology.
“They loved it,” the President told the Wall Street Journal, according to a transcript of the interview obtained and published by Politico. In the transcript, the President is responding to claims from the paper’s reporters that the reaction to his speech was “mixed.”
“I’d be the first to admit mixed. I’m a guy that will tell you mixed,” Trump responded. “There was no mix there. That was a standing ovation from the time I walked out to the time I left, and for five minutes after I had already gone. There was no mix.”
During his July 24 speech, the President bragged about his election victory, slamming his former opponent Hillary Clinton as well his predecessor, former President Barack Obama, and repeatedly decrying the media for what he deemed unfair coverage. The interview with the Journal took place July 25, but the paper only released excerpts rather than a full transcript. Politico obtained and released the transcript on Tuesday.

          • Alright now you are getting somewhere. Bragging is quite often the source of what was once called white lies…

Oh how I wish you were as thorough when 0bama was in office. Do you see the double standard?

          • I guess you didn’t read any of the links posted-The lie is he said he got a call from BSA saying” it was the greatest speech ever made to them”–Per the BSA no such call was ever made-That is a lie-

RE-Trump then told the Wall Street Journal that after his controversial speech at the Boy Scouts National Jamboree in West Virginia, the head of the Boy Scouts called him and told him it was “the greatest speech that was ever made to them.” But the organization told TIME they are unaware of any call from national leadership placed to the White House.

BTW-I don’t see bragging anywhere as a synonym for lie

          • I read it, I considered it, I acknowledged it by calling it a white lie. In other words a lie that is not intended to harm, but told in order to avoid distress or embarrassment. Or in this case to boast.

You are correct, bragging is NOT a synonym for lie.

What I SAID was bragging is quite often a source of lies…. There is a huge difference.

Do you see the double standard? Why do you approve of double standards?

          • can you apply the same standard of a white lie to all the other “lies ” ?

          • That is a million dollar question…. It drills right down to the core of our belief systems. It is also a question that has been debated for ever…

I am not smart enough, nor moral enough to have the definitive answer, but I know that white lies are on a slippery slope. I would say that one should apply the same STANDARDS when determining a white lie or flat out lie, but the punishment, for lack of a better word, needs to be different.

To be consistent, fair, and honest, I believe you must be consistent in applying the same standards to determining the lie, AND consistent punishments for the lies when found.

The double standard that I see, is the left, applies different standards and punishments for people within their ideology and those outside their ideology.

          • No it is not the million dollar question it is just a simple request apply the same standards to all the other Trump lies I presented

          • BUT, your hypocrisy and bigotry does not allow you to apply the same standards to all PEOPLE….

Apparently you do not get my point. And that is sad.

          • I just saw the presser where Huckabee explained your so called lie. Basically, the President had conversations, but apparently he was wrong about exactly who he was talking to, which explains why the HEAD of the Boy Scouts did not have the conversation, and he conflated that with a phone call with someone else.

Bottom line, the President did talk to Boy Scout leaders that praised him after his speech. That part was not a lie.

Keep trying, maybe some day you will find a provable lie… But until then, shame on YOU for false accusations and spreading the false accusations of others.

          • MAHB001-Only a portion of what he said was a lie hackabee sanders -doesn’t think it’s
a lie because President didn’t who or when or how he talked to “some Boy Scout leaders”
Dear what is meaning of is?
What’s “trump signs Presidential determining that only he can define the meaning of a lie”?

          • Rich,

You still have trouble distinguishing the difference between a lie and being wrong. If you still think that 0bama and Hillary were merely wrong about Benghazi, you are using a double standard in determining lies.

If you are using a double standard, it comes from bigotry, and/or a new form of racism that the Left has against Conservatives.

Put yourself in the Presidents shoes, how many people a day do you
meet? How many meetings? How many phone calls? Would you like the
opportunity to correct yourself before you are labeled a liar? Treat
others as you would have them treat yourself.

“What’s “trump signs Presidential determining that only he can define the meaning of a lie”?” Don’t know… what is the context? who said it? where did you find it?

          • I have no problem/ trouble distinguishing the difference between a lie and being wrong….

Here is an example of lying about a lie-watch the video as huckabee-sanders stumbles around her response…I am surprised she didn’t bust out laughing…it’s so ridiculous.

            http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/345013-white-house-trump-did-not-lie-about-phone-call-from-boy-scouts

          • I saw that part of the presser live. And YES you do have a problem distinguishing between a lie and being wrong. The problem you have is that you automatically assume that all conservatives are lying, (purposefully telling a falsehood with the intent to harm or mislead) when they misspeak.

As they said, it wasn’t a lie, it was a mistake… Deal with it.

BTW, the Press corpse (and I spelled it that way on purpose) has the same afflictions you do. They too are as bigoted and as conservative racist as you are…

This new form of racism must fill the racism void that democrats have since they can’t pick on people of different skin color. You know, like back in the KKK days. Democrats really haven’t progressed at all, this form of bigotry is no different.

          • She didn’t it was a
Mistake, she said she didn’t it was a lie-

          • I can’t tell if you are lying or just making a mistake.

          • This poor man can’t help himself…

            He Tweeted this-

“Our relationship with Russia is at an all-time & very dangerous low. You can thank Congress, the same people that can’t even give us HCare!”

Guess the Cuban missile crisis was fake news. What a ignorant fool. Sad

          • you should get more sleep- it helps one stay in touch with reality.

          • LOL coming from the little boy who cries wolf.

You have demonstrated your inability to discern a lie from an opinion, lie from the truth, right from wrong, and lastly, your inability to hold my attention.

          • so sorry -I guess i’ll just end your troll…goodbye

          • Trump’s statement per the list I sent

““We’ve taken in tens of thousands of people. We know nothing about them. They can say they vet them. They didn’t vet them. They have no papers. How can you vet somebody when you don’t know anything about them and you have no papers? How do you vet them? You can’t.”

Here he(Trump)is referring to all refugees-““We’ve taken in tens of thousands of people”.He is saying that there are tens of thousands of refugees that are here unvetted-That is simply not true, He offers this statement without any proof/documentation/Comey’s statement refers to the of many potential Syrian refugee who cannot be documented-It’s a hypothetical and not germain to Trump’s statement-

          • How do you know beyond a shadow of doubt that there are/were not tens of thousands of refugees being let into the US without proper vetting?

I believe what Comey is saying is germane to the seven(?) counties, that are pumping “refugees” into the United States. If these people are not in data bases, they can easily be enemies of the United States infiltrating the US to do all of us harm.

It doesn’t apply to ALL countries, or all refugees. But it does apply to those coming from countries that have our enemies in them.

None the less, what we are trying to determine is if Trump LIED in this comment. In order for it to be a lie, one must know the truth, and tell an untruth in its place. So, we have both seen the data, and you believe that they are being vetted, I don’t. One of us is right, the other is wrong… I don’t think either one of us is lying……

What compounds the issue is that we are looking at unverifiable data that might or might not be true in a multitude of different scenarios. So what might be true in one instance is not true in the next…

Are you beginning to understand where I am coming from?

          • Trump said ““We’ve taken in tens of thousands of people. We know nothing about them. They can say they vet them. They didn’t vet them.”

That is simply not a factual statement-period-We’ve taken in tens of thousands of people…”. Who are these people? How does he know they weren’t vetted- he offers not proof-

” So, we have both seen the data, and you believe that they are being vetted, I don’t.”

What data have you seen ?

          • Correction…. It is not a VERIFIABLE statement….Neither one of us really knows if it is factual or not. You can not prove that it is false, any more than I can prove it is true….

OK, we have both discussed the data… Is that better? I guess you caught me in a lie, or what I would call a miss statement, but because I am white, a conservative, and Republican, it must be a lie…. The double standards are based in bigotry.

          • Huh? What data?

“I am a white, a conservative, and Republican, it must be a lie…. The double standards are based in bigotry”

What purpose does this serve in our discussion?

          • We are talking about Refugees, there are many opinions and statements out there, that is the data that I am talking about.

As I see it, the Left, uses a double standard when evaluating data. Anything coming from a white conservative, Republican, is considered false until proven correct, and they do not apply that standard to the data that comes from people that conform to their ideology. In fact, the assumption is that the data is fact checked and proven and does not need verification.

As evidence, you copied and pasted a ton of false, unverifiable, opinions as facts to start this conversation.

In other words, Conservatives are guilty until proven innocent, and Liberals are not guilty until proven guilty.

          • You can’t argue with this guy he’s a leftist and leftist or shy of a few bricks having a full load.

          • Other than him, how am I doing?

          • “So no, God does not elect all public officials as you incorrectly say that I imply.”

            Just Trump, then…right?

          • My personal belief is that God intervened, but only to let We the People make the actual selection.

Our election system is corrupt. It has been hijacked by some pretty evil individuals, that if not tripped up, would have given us the illusion of electing the people that represent us.

“It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.”
            —-Joseph Stalin

          • As I have said-“one can’t prove there is a god nor can one prove there isn’t” so what one “believes” is not empirically proveable- therefore your personal beliefs about “God intervened” can’t be proven-While I have a respect for ” personal beliefs”, for the purpose of dealing with issues in the secular world, let’s stick to “facts” not “beliefs”-

it.) JAN. 21 “A reporter for Time magazine — and I have been on their cover 14 or 15 times. FEB. Nobody mentions that Hillary received the questions to the debates.” (It was widely covered.) FEB. 18 “And there was no way to vet those people. There was no documentation. There was no nothing.” (Refugees receive multiple background checks, taking up to two years.) FEB. 18 “You look at what’s happening in Germany, you look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. FEB. 27 “On one plane, on a small order of one plane, I saved $725 million. And I would say I devoted about, if I added it up, all those calls, probably about an hour. So I think that might be my highest and best use.” (Much of the price cut was already projected.) APRIL 6 “If you look at the kind of cost-cutting we’ve been able to achieve with the military and at the same time ordering vast amounts of equipment — saved hundreds of millions of dollars on airplanes, and really billions, because if you take that out over a period of years it’s many billions of dollars — I think we’ve had a tremendous success.” (Much of the price cuts were already projected.) JUNE 28 “Democrats purposely misstated Medicaid under new Senate bill — actually goes up.” (Senate bill would have cut the program deeply.) JUNE 29 “General Kelly and his whole group — they’ve gotten rid of 6,000 so far.” (The real number of MS-13 gang members who have been deported is smaller.) JULY 6 “As a result of this insistence, billions of dollars more have begun to pour into NATO.” (NATO countries agreed to meet defense spending requirements in 2014.) JULY 17 “We’ve signed more bills — and I’m talking about through the legislature — than any president, ever.” (Clinton, Carter, Truman, and F.D.R. had signed more at the same point.) JULY 19 “Um, the Russian investigation — it’s not an investigation, it’s not on me — you know, they’re looking at a lot of things.” (It is.) JULY 19 “I heard that Harry Truman was first, and then we beat him.

          • How lazy are you? Shame on you. You haven’t even read that crap from the NY times OPINION pages.

It is nothing but opinions, with no proof that anybody lied, you are a total moron.

            You can not fix stupid.

          • God does not exist things would not have been so intricately put together. I don’t give me the Darwin BS either.

          • I guess he forgot about trump because he’s defintely not intricate. He’s a simpleton.

          • Simpleton? How so? The people obviously thought he was a better man than anything that was running in the primaries, as it was a good businessman who done well and knew how to negotiate. The biggest threat to freedom in this , Is not outside,it’s the enemy within that being the communist a.k.a. Democrat party and their allies that Ingrained in the Republican Party!

          • Simpletons vote for simpletons-What’s so hard to to figure out about that-as you would say it’s just common sense-

extraneous to this conversation – “The biggest threat to freedom in this , Is not outside,it’s the enemy within that being the communist a.k.a. Democrat party and their allies that Ingrained in the Republican Party!”

          • May I ask you why you were regurgitating ,what I had just written to you?

          • The biggest threat to freedom in this country, is not outside of this country it is what is ingrained in this country and our whole political system. The Communist a.k.a. Democrat party which was taken over back in the 40s by the communist and their allies in the Republican Party. Go to Google type in 45 goals of communism to take down the United States. See how many of those have been accomplished already!

        • NOT “usurped”, but bypassed. Look at the Act of 1871. It says “THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES” all in caps — THE UNITED STATES IS the corp name and OUR Constitution is “the Constitution FOR the united States”. Subtle, but sufficient differences for legal purposes. By the same token, Baron vs THE UNITED STATES, (Supreme Court case) a very interesting finding indeed — THE UNITED STATES is the name of the corp, and NOT OF OUR COUNTRY.

          • Suggest you read the entire Constitution including the preamble.

Not sure what you are complaining about. You sound kind of ignorant, is that on purpose?

          • Not TALKING about IN the Constitution. When DC was set up by the Act of 1871, it did NOT follow the Constitution written for US, it was a European corp that took over and rules us under European Law, as set out in the Act. I UNDERSTAND that our Constitution is a wonderful document, this is EUROPE svcamming us and we never stopped it yet. Our TRUE government has never re-convened since the corp took over in its masquerade in DC which might as well be a piece of Europe on our soil. They serve the Admiralty flag, which is the corp flag and NOT OUR FLAG. That flag represents Admiralty Law, or Maritime Law or the original name was High King’s Law ALL FROM ENGLAND. The Admiralty the flag stood for was British Admiralty. Check it out, the Act of 1871 — it is all there.

          • I am not familiar with the Act of 1871, On your suggestion, I will look into it further.

          • This is what we all need to understand, or we are shadow-boxing against wrong issues — that is how the DC government was set up, to look like it was our government, while its agenda is more of the theft of everything that we have into European hands, also suppressing us so that we are not a danger to them. Why do you think the DC government has taken over as much land in grabs as it has, in all of the states?

          • It IS hard to believe, I know. It seems ridiculous that this situation could have ever come about, not your fault at all. We ALL thought that our government IS our government, but the devil is in the little details. Check out also the case Baron vs THE UNITED STATES, the finding that the Supreme Court made is astonishing also. A corporation, being a fictitious paper entity, has no sovereignty, which has rather far-reaching problems for their jurisdiction — on anything. And how can sovereign individuals be citizens of this fiction AND OWNED BY IT, to guarantee its debts?

          • I DO understand, this is all mind-spinning, not easy to see that our entire government is not anything at all as it seems — it took me a few months to come to terms with it and get beyond the disbelief and the panic too, of thinking that WASS. I believe we are coming out from 146 years of not seeing and facing this, it is time now. I finally saw that it is not the horrible emergency I at first thought — it IS likely to be a bit messy and a LOT OF WORK to figure out, but it will be. What is greatest that we have going for us is, the entire situation is so EASY to see when you stop denying it, and they set it up wrong, so that they actually do NOT have jurisdiction (a municipal government is NOT a federal government), so they literally do NOT have a foot to stand on. This corporation is indefensible within the Law, even their own Law. Still, it is a LOT to untangle.

          • I have lost confidence in the law and those that are applying the law. You are correct, it is going to be messy. The swamp is deep and entrenched.

          • I don’t blame you, it is a terrible mess, in terms of any honesty or even competence in our governance — it will take a LOT of work to restore the values that have been abrogated along the way, it IS a very daunting problem on a lot of levels I am afraid. The basics are simple, but the Devil is in the details….

        • What they did was NOT acknowledge Constitutional Law, called “common :Law”, but instead “govern” us under Roman and High King’s Law (European Law), and that is why all the “statutes” and no use of Constitutional; Law. Nothing wrong with it, just not what the European corp wanted to rule us by. I want us under our own flag with our own Constitution AND UNDER THE LAW SET OUT IN OUR CONSTITUTION. Out from under the fake European corporation and European laws which are NOT OURS.

      • Would you rather have our government set up under the barbaric Muslims teaching and law. You know sharia law which is based on hate, and destruction, stoning people to death, making women no more than a possession, be headings and more. You also forget that the law of this land also includes Christianity the bible and GOD. More good than bad.

        • How is this in any way apropos to what I said? Our true government IS Christian, and Moslem ideas are certainly never valid. Would YOU rather stay under the false government t5hat was put over by the Europeans, or restore our true heritage? I say MAGA!

      • So… finish your thought and assertion. Set up by whom? (Although, I would suggest “European-owned”… is too finite. These are global, multi-national corporations who have no allegiance to any country… just their own bottom line.

    • AMEN MAHBOO1! ….and thanks for the post!

    • You are absolutely right! Trump is just up there is representative of we the people. He is doing the work with the people the ones you hate him but hide behind the name of liberal, or nothing but Marxist deadbeats wanting to live off the backs of those will work. Just look at the Obamas in the Clintons both are deadbeats never done anything in your life. But then again so is Bernie Sanders he’s been a deadbeat all his life. Well look at all the dictators it all Marxist leaders they’re all deadbeats everyone of them living off the backs of the people. Yeah the left don’t like it because there are a group of people that are deadbeats order or moral or there come people who want to destroy the freedom of this great nation. We must pray. There is power in prayer I can attest to that.

A psychological analysis of Trump supporters has uncovered 5 key traits about them

The lightning-fast ascent and political invincibility of Donald Trump has left many experts baffled and wondering, “How did we get here?” Any accurate and sufficient answer to that question must not only focus on Trump himself, but also on his uniquely loyal supporters. Given their extreme devotion and unwavering admiration for their highly unpredictable and often inflammatory leader, some have turned to the field of psychology for scientific explanations based on precise quantitative data and established theoretical frameworks.

Although analyses and studies by psychologists and neuroscientists have provided many thought-provoking explanations for his enduring support, the accounts of different experts often vary greatly, sometimes overlapping and other times conflicting. However insightful these critiques may be, it is apparent that more research and examination is needed to hone in on the exact psychological and social factors underlying this peculiar human behavior.

In a recent review paper published in the Journal of Social and Political Psychology, Psychologist and UC Santa Cruz professor Thomas Pettigrew argues that five major psychological phenomena can help explain this exceptional political event.

        1. Authoritarian Personality Syndrome

Authoritarianism refers to the advocacy or enforcement of strict obedience to authority at the expense of personal freedom, and is commonly associated with a lack of concern for the opinions or needs of others. Authoritarian personality syndrome—a well-studied and globally-prevalent condition—is a state of mind that is characterized by belief in total and complete obedience to one’s authority. Those with the syndrome often display aggression toward outgroup members, submissiveness to authority, resistance to new experiences, and a rigid hierarchical view of society. The syndrome is often triggered by fear, making it easy for leaders who exaggerate threat or fear monger to gain their allegiance.

Although authoritarian personality is found among liberals, it is more common among the right-wing around the world. President Trump’s speeches, which are laced with absolutist terms like “losers” and “complete disasters,” are naturally appealing to those with the syndrome.

While research showed that Republican voters in the U.S. scored higher than Democrats on measures of authoritarianism before Trump emerged on the political scene, a 2016 Politico survey found that high authoritarians greatly favored then-candidate Trump, which led to a correct prediction that he would win the election, despite the polls saying otherwise.

        2. Social dominance orientation

Social dominance orientation (SDO)—which is distinct but related to authoritarian personality syndrome—refers to people who have a preference for the societal hierarchy of groups, specifically with a structure in which the high-status groups have dominance over the low-status ones. Those with SDO are typically dominant, tough-minded, and driven by self-interest.

In Trump’s speeches, he appeals to those with SDO by repeatedly making a clear distinction between groups that have a generally higher status in society (White), and those groups that are typically thought of as belonging to a lower status (immigrants and minorities).

A 2016 survey study of 406 American adults published this year in the journal Personality and Individual Differences found that those who scored high on both SDO and authoritarianism were those who intended to vote for Trump in the election.

        3. Prejudice

It would be grossly unfair and inaccurate to say that every one of Trump’s supporters have prejudice against ethnic and religious minorities, but it would be equally inaccurate to say that many do not. It is a well-known fact that the Republican party, going at least as far back to Richard Nixon’s “southern strategy,” used strategies that appealed to bigotry, such as lacing speeches with “dog whistles”—code words that signaled prejudice toward minorities that were designed to be heard by racists but no one else.

While the dog whistles of the past were more subtle, Trump’s are sometimes shockingly direct. There’s no denying that he routinely appeals to bigoted supporters when he calls Muslims “dangerous” and Mexican immigrants “rapists” and “murderers,” often in a blanketed fashion. Perhaps unsurprisingly, a new study has shown that support for Trump is correlated with a standard scale of modern racism.

        4. Intergroup contact

Intergroup contact refers to contact with members of groups that are outside one’s own, which has been experimentally shown to reduce prejudice. As such, it’s important to note that there is growing evidence that Trump’s white supporters have experienced significantly less contact with minorities than other Americans. For example, a 2016 study found that “…the racial and ethnic isolation of Whites at the zip-code level is one of the strongest predictors of Trump support.” This correlation persisted while controlling for dozens of other variables. In agreement with this finding, the same researchers found that support for Trump increased with the voters’ physical distance from the Mexican border.

        5. Relative deprivation

Relative deprivation refers to the experience of being deprived of something to which one believes they are entitled. It is the discontent felt when one compares their position in life to others who they feel are equal or inferior but have unfairly had more success than them.

Common explanations for Trump’s popularity among non-bigoted voters involve economics. There is no doubt that some Trump supporters are simply angry that American jobs are being lost to Mexico and China, which is certainly understandable, although these loyalists often ignore the fact that some of these careers are actually being lost due to the accelerating pace of automation.

These Trump supporters are experiencing relative deprivation, and are common among the swing states like Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. This kind of deprivation is specifically referred to as “relative,” as opposed to “absolute,” because the feeling is often based on a skewed perception of what one is entitled to. For example, an analysis conducted by FiveThirtyEight estimated that the median annual income of Trump supporters was $72,000.

If such data is accurate, the portrayal of most Trump supporters as “working class” citizens rebelling against Republican elites may be more myth than fact.

        • And just what is it you’re trying to say? People voted for Trump because they’re tired of the bullshit of the people in Washington who are owned by the money but do not listen to weed the people. This is why Mr. Trump who cares about America and cares about the rule of law ! One other thing the people got tired of being played by both sides so they’re looking for somebody that will stand up for the people and he is representative of the people what do you believe that or you don’t. And it’s for a psychologist when you go look at the statistics on A profession, that is apt to commit suicide The psychologist rank at the top. Does that tell you anything?

          • I am just trying to help you with your problems, Look within.

          • I do not have a problem! I am a Vietnam veteran who understands communism who understands freedom and understands what’s going on in this country. I don’t need help you might I don’t.

          • Here again just what are you trying to say with all this babbling BS.

          • It speaks for itself-I didn’t make it up…it’s reality….

          • I would like to know just what you’re babbling about or trying to babble about ?

          • What about this…..

Testing the limits of Trump’s ‘obsession’ with Obama
            08/10/17 12:50 PM—UPDATED 08/10/17 01:05 PM
            By Steve Benen
BuzzFeed published an interesting piece yesterday based on interviews with “six top European government officials who’ve had firsthand dealings on the international stage with [Donald Trump] and his administration.” Not surprisingly, the foreign officials characterized the American president as erratic, ignorant, and “something of a laughing stock among Europeans at international gatherings.”

But what stood out for me was the description of Trump’s obsession with his predecessor. “It’s his only real position,” one European diplomat said. “He will ask: ‘Did Obama approve this?’ And if the answer is affirmative, he will say: ‘We don’t.’ He won’t even want to listen to the arguments or have a debate. He is obsessed with Obama.”

And while that’s plainly pathetic, it’s consistent with everything we’ve seen from this president – who seems to think about Barack Obama far more than he should, accusing him of all sorts of weird things, including secretly tapping his phones. Just this morning, Trump highlighted an unscientific poll of sympathetic Twitter users who said they like him better than his predecessor, which the Republican apparently considered important for reasons he didn’t explain.

In fact, the burgeoning crisis in North Korea seems to have brought these festering attitudes to the fore. The Washington Post reported this morning, “Starting on Wednesday night, the Republican president retweeted a series of Twitter posts related to his Democratic predecessor, starting with one by John Bolton, a former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations and Fox News contributor, who said the United States is at risk because of Obama.”

The problem – well, one of them, anyway – is that aside from the reckless rhetoric, Trump’s policy towards North Korea is surprisingly similar to Obama’s.

Despite all kinds of recent West Wing whining that Obama should be blamed for the North Korean threats, Slate’s Joshua Keating explained yesterday that the current president’s foreign policy, such as it is, seems pretty familiar.

The main approach of the last four years of the Obama administration was to push for more international sanctions, covertly sabotage North Korea’s missiles, provide defense systems to North Korea’s neighbors, and call on China’s leaders to do more to pressure Kim.

Is this starting to sound familiar? A number of observers have pointed out that there’s more continuity between the Trump and Obama approaches than you might think. This makes sense given that avoiding direct confrontation with North Korea is probably the only option for avoiding a body count in the tens of thousands if not more. And despite the rhetorical fire and fury unleashed by the president Tuesday, more level-headed officials like Tillerson are indicating that the U.S. policy on North Korea hasn’t changed.

Obviously, Trump’s apocalyptic rhetoric is fundamentally at odds with his predecessor’s diplomatic approach – Obama knew better than to casually threaten a nuclear confrontation without forethought as part of an ill-tempered tantrum – but if we look past what Trump is saying and focus entirely on what his administration is doing, this White House has discovered that the previous White House actually knew what it was talking about.

It’s why, the amateur president’s bluster notwithstanding, the Trump administration is effectively reading from Obama’s script on both North Korea and ISIS.

As the Washington Post’s Dana Milbank wrote last week, “President Trump appears to have found himself a new national security adviser. His name is Barack Obama

    • This is an utterly laughable assertion by the hypocrite in chief. He should lead by example and have ALL his foreign products produced in AMERICA. Of course, that includes all of Ivanka’s foreign crap as well. But, keep looking at the shiny objects while he robs you blind.

(BTW… the left is not much better… because too many accept the same corporate bribes as well!) Get the money (influence peddlers… bribers) out of Washington. Overturn Citizens United.

Newsflash… about Trump allegedly draining the swamp of special interests, corporate insiders, etc. He just hired another lobbyist (from the coal industry) to be deputy administrator of the EPA.

I DO pray for Trump…. that we won’t completely destroy America and the world before he’s removed from office.

      • I think the Left is far worse. They lie without a conscience. Just look what we have endured in the last 8 years. IRS, EPA, NSA, DOJ all corrupted by ideologies.

There is no doubt that We the People must keep an eye on Trump. In today’s times no politician can be trusted.

One good thing about Trump is that he is NOT a politician. To date, I have not seen anything that Trump has done that is hurting America.

I too pray for Trump and that he stays true to his promises, unlike the politicians that proceeded him.

    • Great reply – on my Facebook right now!

  3. Leaders lead by example.Trump is no leader.Don’t do as I do , do as I say. The hypocrisy is palpable…sad.

    • And, I guess you’re one of those “lefties’ who would consider Obozo to be a “leader”, huh?

      • what does former President Obama that have to do with President Trump’s lack of leadership on this topic?

        • Only that Trump has more leadership in his little finger than Obozo will ever have period. In spite of the obstruction by the left, Trump has made significant strides in improving our country. Take a look at what’s happened in the stock market since he became POTUS. Steps are finally being taken to control the rampant immigration policy. Jobs are coming back to America. Unemployment is declining. Our military is being strengthened after years of dismantling. Respect from foreign countries is being restored. If you can’t see and acknowledge these facts, then I guess you’re sipping that liberal, DumbocRAT kool-aide!!

          • Instead of making unsubstantiated claims regarding President Trumps performance after 6 months in office and using abusive language, why not stick to the subject …the hypocrisy of President Trump not ” committing his company to buying only American-made products.”

          • Based upon what other bloggers have said (including myself), you appear to be the only one who is out of touch with reality. The only reason the claims I’ve made about Trump are unsubstantiated in your mind is that you either haven’t taken the time to read for yourself or refuse to accept them. Just a day or 2 ago, Trump stated on national TV that companies who hire Americans will buy American-made products. I guess you must’ve missed it….maybe you were watching Rachel Mad-Dyke….she certainly wouldn’t cover it!!

          • Please send an information link to where I might view proof that President Trump assured that “his companies would buy only American-made products.”

          • Nah, why should I bother? If you’re too lazy to watch the news, then it’s not my job to educate the ignorant. Besides, even if I did, you’d probably say it was merely Russian propaganda. LMAO!! (Hint: you might want to watch David Muir, ABC, 6:30 PM, EDT.)

          • I have nothing to prove. You do.

          • Well, let’s take a look at a few of the significant & positive things Trump has done in 1st 6 months. Just yesterday, the Director of the Border Patrol stated that a 53% decrease in illegal immigration has occurred since Trump became POTUS. The stock market is humming at a record level. Unemployment is declining dramatically. More American workers are being hired. Respect for America on an international level is increasing. Our military is being strengthened after years of decimation. Gorsuch, the same judge confirmed by 100% of the Dems for a federal judgeship 10 yrs. ago, has now become a member of the SCOTUS to restore sanity to this entity. How’s that for starters, moron?!!

          • You still haven’t addressed President Trump’s hypocrisy regarding his companies

BTW- your other comments lose credibility when you refer to the addressee as a moron.

          • Clever! As I said, you lLibs are adept @ using projection & deflection. I realize I’m dealing w/ a mental midget, but just 4 clairification,U R the moron. As I said, article speaks to how biased & brain-dead U.R.

          • You have un-cleverly pivoted from the topic of ..the hypocrisy of President Trump not ” committing his company(ies) to buying only American-made products.”

You appear to be refusing to address the topic-

          • I saw it on ABC News- David Muir- a few nights ago. But, like ALL bed-wetting, wimpy, wienie, whiny Libs who still can’t accept that your corrupt candidate, Crooked Hillary, got her A** kicked in Nov……only won 20 states. Like the Eagles song goes: “Get Over It”.

So after six months, has Donald Trump delivered what he promised you?

            1. He told you he’d repeal Obamacare and replace it with something “beautiful.” You bought it. But he didn’t repeal and he didn’t replace. (Just as well: His plan would have knocked at least 22 million off health insurance, including many of you.)
            2. He told you he’d cut your taxes. You bought it. But tax “reform” is stalled. And if it ever moves, the only ones whose taxes will be cut are the wealthy.
            3. He told you he’d invest $1 billion in our nation’ crumbling infrastructure. You bought it. But his infrastructure plan, which was really a giveaway to rich investors, is also stalled.
            4. He said he’d clean the Washington swamp. You bought it. But he’s brought into his administration more billionaires, CEOs, and Wall Street moguls than in any administration in history, to make laws that will enrich their businesses, along with former lobbyists, lawyers and consultants who are crafting new policies for the same industries they recently worked for. 5. He said he’d use his business experience to whip the White House into shape. You bought it. But he created the most chaotic, dysfunctional, back-stabbing White House in modern history, in which no one is in charge. 6. He said he’d close “special interest loopholes that have been so good for Wall Street investors but unfair to American workers.“ You bought it. But he picked a Wall Street financier Stephen Schwarzman to run his strategic and policy forum, who compares closing those loopholes to Hitler’s invasion of Poland.
            7. He told you he’d “bring down drug prices” by making deals with drug companies. You bought it. But now the White House says that promise is “inoperative.”
            8. He said that on Day One he’d label China a “currency manipulator.” You bought it. But then he met with China’s president and declared “China is not a currency manipulator.”
            9. He said he wouldn’t bomb Syria. You bought it. But then he bombed Syria.
            10. He called Barack Obama “the vacationer-in-Chief” and accused him of playing more rounds of golf than Tiger Woods. He promised to never be the kind of president who took cushy vacations on the taxpayer’s dime, not when there was so much important work to be done. You bought it. But in his first 6 months he has spent more taxpayer money on vacations than Obama did in the first 3 years of his presidency. Not to mention all the money taxpayers are spending protecting his family, including his two sons who travel all over the world on Trump business.
            11. He said he’d force companies to keep jobs in America. You believed him. But despite their promises, Carrier, Ford, GM, and the rest are shipping jobs to Mexico and China.
            12. He said he’d create coal jobs. You believe him. He hasn’t. But here’s what he has done: Since 1965 a federal program called the Appalachian Regional Commission has spent $23 billion helping communities in coal states fund job retraining, reclaim land, and provide desperately needed social services. A.R.C. helped cut poverty rates almost in half, double the percentage of high-school graduates, and reduce infant mortality by two-thirds. Trump’s first proposed budget eliminates A.R.C.

          • Typical Liberal B.S. I listed at least 6 major accom. Most of slow down has been due to Dems obstruction. As for ACA, let it implode Dems. own it. Only moronic, delusional Dems fail to see progress. Go ahead & live in your fantasy world. Ignorant dumb F***s like you can not see reality. Not possible for dumb A***s.

          • I have never used language as you have…..Calling me a “Ignorant dumb” F***… Ignorant dumb F***s like you can not see reality. Not possible for dumb A***s.

            That’s all you have –

            You’re a real classy guy…..

          • Well, as Jack Nicholson once said in the movie. “Top Gun”: You can’t handle the truth!! I present to you a half-dozen accomplishments. You totally ignore, discount and deny them. You fail to acknowledge that it’s the Candy-A** LIBS like you stand in the way and obstruct. Your role models are idiots like Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, Bernie Sanders, etc. You long for the days of Obozo and his empty promises and lies. You applaud efforts by the left to shout down anyone who disagrees with their warped philosophies. You criticize Trump for taking a strong stand against N.K & Syria. You criticize ICE for following the law and deporting illegals. So, yes, that does make you a dumb-ass. Sorry that you can’t handle the truth. Check the other responses on this blog. You’ll see that I’m not the only one who thinks you are a moron. Like the Eagles song says: “Get Over It”.

          • You are a single-minded MORON, aren’t you? All I do to those of your ilk is to down-vote you all, don’t even bother as a rule — until you also felt that you had to come out in your atheist mode too, that is even more idiotic.

          • CORRECTION: You have nothing at all that you CAN PROVE — except that you are an idiot.

          • So you are implying that tRump grabs the ring he put in your nose and leads you around? And around and around.

          • No, I’m not implying Jack-S***!!! I am STATING that Trump is 100 x the leader Obozo could ever be. Obviously, you’re one of those whiny, wienie, wimpy bed-wetting liberals who sit at the feet of Rachel Mad-Dyke and soak up all collusion-delusion nonsense!

          • OK so you don’t imply so that means it is the truth. If he stops too quick you might end up with your nose in his butt. No wait! It is there already! I get the picture. It ain’t pretty.

          • What is becoming obvious is that YOU are so far up the Kenyan’s butt that you could give a proctological report on his “inner workings”. Yep, you are definitely one of those pansy-A***s who probably thinks Crooked Hillary won the election-even though she only carried 20 states. And, re Benghazi,”what difference does it make?” Yeh, that’s you alright! LMAO!

          • What has always been obvious is that not only are you a horrible judge of character but you are also not a very good player of 20 guesses. Not a one correct. You lose. Don’t bother trying again ROTFLOL

          • Like most Libs, your only focus is on grasping for straws to diminish Trumps accomplishment. I won’t waste my time listing them. You’re too stupid, ignorant, & biased to comprehend them. Keep sipping that Lib kool aid & fantasizing about giving Obozo a B.J.

          • Like most CONservatives your only focus is putting down Libs so you don’t have to look at reality. Besides, I have not even spoken about tRumps accomplishments or lack thereof) to you. So you just pulled that out of your butt I guess. Whatever dude.

          • Reality is what this article is all about. And, the reality is that Liberals, like you, will do anything to undermine Trump and will NEVER accept any positive thing that he does. Instead, you’ll distort, minimize, and discount them. Reality to you means: what can I do to obstruct and keep the focus away from doing what is needed to improve our country?

          • No, the reality is that the liberals do not like trump because he is a hypocritical phony. How the hell can he celebrate the American worker when he does not support the American worker personally? All his campaign paraphernalia was made in China or overseas. His suits and ties are made overseas. Furniture..everything. All his daughters trinkets in her business is made in China or Indonesia. The indonesian shops where they are made have gross labor violations.
(Incidentally, Indonesia has the highest Muslim concentration of any other country on earth..yet another hypocritical diddy) Don’t you think the trumps could afford to buy everything American made? “Do as I say and not as I do” does not make a leader or a boss. Quite on the contrary. It makes one fat hypocrite. I have worked on local campaigns for Dems. All the printing and geegaws were made and stamped made in a union shop in the USA. This article goes on to rationalize and justify why liberals are angry over trump, that we don’t like his “patriotic” message. Rationalizing and justification is LYING! I just described why we are angry and it is none of the crap you all think, or what this lying article says. Standing in front of a friendly crowd proclaiming “patriotic” is not being patriotic. Actions speak patriotism. If trump would do something to “make America great” I’d be with him. Have you read the news this morning? All those jobs he proclaims to have “saved” at Carrier in Indiana? Yeah well they are being laid off anyway after giving Carrier $7mil in tax cuts. Who is going to have to make up for those lost taxes? We the people, thats who. I guess bullying and tax cuts might not be the “art of the deal” after all, right? All he is doing is a race to the bottom. I’m sorry pal. I feel for the workers in our country too. You been duped. Furthermore, just so you know, I am not a supporter of the mainstream Dems either nor do I fawn over Obama nor did I support Hillary. Liberal patriotism is not the phony wrapping of ourselves in the American Flag and blindly playing follow the leader be he right or wrong. Thats what the reich wing has always done and it is PHONY and FAKE. Have a nice day.

          • Yes, actions do speak patriotism. Unfortunately, the left is so incensed with Trump being the POTUS, they overlook, distort, minimize, and deny obvious positive steps that have been taken. To repeat some of those I’ve previously shared, they include: (1) significant increases in the stock market; (2) strengthening our military: (3) standing up and confronting dictators in Syria & N.K.; (4) placing a man in the SC who supports the Constitution instead of their their own whims; (5) taking positive steps to reduce illegal immigration (note: 70% decline according to Border Patrol); (6) being proactive in dealing with Sanctuary Cities that refuse to pay the law; and (7) restoring our respect from foriegn countries after 8 years of apologizing & projecting weakness. A final suggestion: let’s channel our political negativity into a united effort to truly make America great. If you’re not happy with situation in 3 years, then you’re free to vote for M. Waters. LOL!!!

          • Indeed. Get back to me in 3 years. 🙂

          • Will do. I predict that if the Dems continue their path of self-destruction, the 2020 election will be a landslide win for the Trumpster!!

          • Get back to me in 3 years 🙂

          • “Trump’s ‘America First’ promise leads to Homeland Security adding 15,000 seasonal visas
This is also happening during Trump’s “Made in America” week.

Between 2013 and 2015, Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate (shown) had more than 240 H-2B employees. CREDIT: AP Photo/Alex Brandon
Just as President Donald Trump kicks off his “Made in America” theme week based on his promise to “hire American, buy American,” the federal government announced plans to rapidly increase the number of temporary foreign workers in the United States this year.
The federal government will immediately add 15,000 seasonal visas to fill temporary H-2B nonagricultural jobs for the remainder of the 2017 fiscal year, U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agency officials told reporters on a press call Monday, beyond the annual cap of 66,000 visas allotted for this current fiscal year.
DHS officials said that this increase is a “one-time exemption” this year, explaining that some U.S. businesses are facing a dire labor shortage that could lead their companies to financial ruin.
Employers use H-2B visas to hire foreign workers to work in certain nonagricultural jobs when domestic workers can’t be found. For the government to grant these visas, employers must prove that they need immigrant workers after exhausting every option to recruit domestic workers. Specific U.S. Department of Labor requirements include posting advertisements on two separate days to hire domestically and soliciting the return of U.S. workers employed during the previous year.
H-2B visa holders remain lawfully employed anywhere between four and ten months. Their immigration status is also tied directly to their employment.
The additional release of visas — which will be made available for public inspection on Monday and put into the Federal Register later this week — will require employers to submit an attestation that their businesses will suffer “permanent, severe financial loss” if they cannot hire more foreign workers, senior DHS officials said.
Attestation petitions will be “adjudicated on a first in, first out basis,” based on evidence like profit loss statements, comparing present period of needs to prior years, and past and present financial conditions.
“This number is sufficient to satisfy those businesses who will suffer irreparable harm,” one senior DHS official said, explaining that the increase was derived from demand and the short time frame before the 2017 fiscal year ends in September.
The official also insisted the increase in foreign workers squarely fits into the president’s talking points to “hire American.”
“The Secretary first and foremost is committed to protect American workers and strengthening the integrity of the immigration system,” he added.
“We’re talking about American businesses at risk of suffering irreparable harm if they don’t get additional H-b workers so that fits into the ‘American workers’ first” mentality, another senior official said. “This does help with American businesses continuing to prosper.”
Requesting Congress to make this exemption and grant the discretionary authority to raise the annual H-2B visa cap within fiscal years is not rare. But a DHS official said such an increase usually takes place earlier in the fiscal year (October through December), not with less than two months to go.
The president may have some familiarity with the H-2B visa program. Between 2013 and 2015, President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago hotel hired 246 H-2B visa holders. A DHS official couldn’t comment on whether the Trump family would file petitions for additional H-2B visa workers this year.
H-2B visa holders are often subject to poor labor practices and exploitation in large part because their legal status in the country is tied to their employment.”

Please take special notice the Mar-a-Lago and 246 H-B2 workers. MAGA!

    • Trump has not been given a 100% try out the left is nuts and people like you don’t help.

    • TRUMP 2020

      • Pence 2024! Take heart, Marlene—I recently resigned from the Democrat party after forty-five years. Too crazy now, even for me!

        • Even for you – lol. I was a democrat once, too, but then I grew up, or older, whatever. Why pence?

          • I was a JFK Democrat but the Democrat party then is not what we have today. There is a big differance

          • I was also a JFK Dem! “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country!” That has always inspired and motivated me. He’d be drummed out of the party, now, for suggesting that self-motivation and a mission to make the world a better place through your own efforts was somehow wrong, insensitive, or bigoted.

          • Yes, me too. I really liked the Kennedys. JFK especially for what he did, and died for.

          • Pence will have a big advantage of name recognition and hopefully keep the country returning to sanity. Plus I trust midwesterners. Sensible people. I lived in Indiana a couple years. Get back to basics: hard, honest work for honest pay, simplify.

          • Pence? That depends on whether President Trump finishes out his two terms, alive and well.

          • Actually, you grew up, got wiser, and the dems took a long march to the left, to the point of ridiculous. Trump may act like a teen, sometimes, but that’s still better than grade school kids.

          • They act like petulant infants — NOT like grammar school kids!

          • I stand corrected.

          • It was not meant as a “correction”, but as an amplification on your comment.

          • I like President Trump’s good character. So he can have whatever charm he wants. Frankly, teens today would do better to have Trump’s personality rather than that of their leftist teachers.

    • You are the one that is ….sad. What kind of country would you like to live in???

    • Rich, you’re reading the media and don’t realize they’re only telling the negative part of the story, and a lot of that is spin. If Trump walked on water and healed the sick, they’d say he was trying to put bridge builders out of work and destroy health care.

My God, but you and Cat Person have terminal cases of Trump Acceptance Resistance Disorder that is a pattern of pathologically dissociative and psychotic behavior, first observed in the late hours of November 8th 2016, and increasing in severity with passing time. Sufferers of Trump Acceptance Resistance Disorder often exhibit pronounced cognitive dissonance, sudden bouts of rage, uncontrollable crying, suicidal ideation, and extreme butthurt.

      Signs and Symptoms:

People with Trump Acceptance Resistance Disorder are characterized by a persistent unwillingness to accept that Donald Trump is going to Make America Great Again. Individual sufferers often display signs of paranoia and delusion; in acute cases psychotic episodes have been observed. Trump Acceptance Resistance Disorder is different from being upset about the results of the 2016 presidential election; People with TARD are unwilling or unable to accept reality, despite irrefutable evidence.

According to the DSM-V, individuals with TARD exhibit most or all of the following symptoms:

Telling others they are moving to Canada

Fixated on fantasies about the Electoral College

Protesting an election no credible source contests the outcome of

Exclamations that “Someone” should do “Something”

      Sudden weight gain

Acute change in demeanor from pompous and arrogant to fearful and combative

Claim that anyone who disagrees with them is some combination of Racist, Sexist, Bigoted, Homophobic, and Actually Hitler

      Causes and Mechanisms:

Trump Acceptance Resistance Disorder was directly caused by the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States of America. For many, both in America and worldwide, this was a shocking and unexpected outcome; their preferred news sources having failed to inform them that the alternative candidate was a criminal parasite in such ill health she got chucked into the back of a van like a kidnap victim.

Research is ongoing, but TARD appears to correlate closely with the following environmental and behavioral factors:

      Membership in the Democratic party

      Identifying as a Feminist

      Currently enrolled in college, and/or

Possession of a Liberal Arts college degree

      Cuckoldry

Living in a densely populated metropolitan area

      Massive student debt

      Spotty or non-existent work history

      Hipsterism

      Diagnosis:

Diagnosis of Trump Acceptance Resistance Disorder is straightforward. Ask the patient if Donald Trump is going to be the Next President of the United States of America. Some patients will become agitated, and may attempt to deflect. It’s critical you press them on the issue, even if they start babbling about ‘muh triggers’. A sufferer of TARD will begin to ramble incoherently, often displaying three or more of the symptoms within a short period of time.

      Co- morbidity:

A diagnosis of Trump Acceptance Resistance Disorder is highly comorbid with Paraphilic Infantilism, Emotional Eating, Bush Derangement Syndrome, and adult bed wetting.

      Treatment:

The only known effective treatment is exposure therapy. The patient must be repeatedly exposed to reality, and should wear a Make America Great Again hat as long as they are able to tolerate it. Each exposure should increase in length, after a week the patient should be encouraged to be seen in public wearing the MAGA hat. Coach the patient to refer to Donald Trump as President-Elect Trump.

Patients with TARD are very resistant to treatment, and dangerous in large groups. Any possibility of treatment requires that they be separated from their hive-mind support apparatus; they cannot begin the process of accepting reality in the presence of encouragement towards delusion and irrationality. Separation may require the assistance of law enforcement.

If you have a friend or loved one suffering from TARD, urge them to seek treatment. Together we can beat this scourge, and Make America Great Again!

      • Perhaps you missed a response to a previous email- This holds my reason for being involved in this conversation…

Stick to the subject …the hypocrisy of President Trump not ” committing his company to buying only American-made products.”

        • My God, man! For every nit, there is a nitpicker, and then some! 142 trillion dollars in federal liabilities tells me you are lost in petty details, playing your violin while the ship sinks. Give my regards to Davy Jones and his locker! But I guess I’ll be going down with you, so we can make it a chorus!

          • One cannot have a discussion with another who changes the subject. Goodbye and good luck.

          • My remark was apropos to your choice of topic. Sorry you chose not to address it—because frankly, you can’t and you know it. I suggest you get real and look at the real issues. Everyone is flawed, as is Trump. If that were truly important, everyone in DC should resign as of now. And you know, that wouldn’t be a bad idea.

    • Idiots make statements like yours. You are too used to a so called leader who leads from behind and draws red lines with invisible ink.

  4. DumbocRATS/Liberals (they 2 terms are interchangeable) have no interest in what typical Americans value. They’re only interested in furthering the cause of those who look to the gov’t for support and solutions to our problems. Their values are far removed from those upon which our country was founded and made us great.

  5. LEFT starts with the letter “L” just like the word LOSER. It makes sense why they can do nothing right.

  6. For the first time in a long time I feel our country is moving in the right direction

  7. I work for a major corporation in the northeast, highly liberal management, the whole works. They outsource most of their work to Russia and India! If they didn’t, they wouldn’t be competitive on price and go bankrupt. (They just came out of bankruptcy a few years ago.) Trump has proposed changing the laws and charging import fees to balance things out, and that and a 0% corporate income tax would have jobs flooding back to America.

    • Actually that is simple TRUTH, corps were set up to be tax collectors for the government, they simply raise the price of their products to offset any taxes given them, so any tax on any corporation is DIRECTLY a tax (that is concealed) ON THE PEOPLE.

      • Right! Just like the gas taxes—which direct far more money to the government than profits to the oil companies. Don’t tax the corporations—just tax the people making money by working for them or owning interests in them through stocks, bonds, etc. The problem is we can’t afford the government leeches, anymore! Like the medical leeches of old, they’re sucking too much of our blood, and we’re not getting better!

  8. Everybody should know that he´s full of BS by now—and whatever he says is only for the purpose of trying to get votes. Of course—that only works for the gullible who actually have the same twisted, hateful agendas that he has.

    • curmudgeon VN Veteran

Your tinfoil hat needs tightening. You came close to having an independent thought.

    • If he’s full of BS then he must have been soaking up the only thing you liberals put out.

    • lol….so what twisted agendas do you speak of? Hyperbole is the best you trolls have and little else. At least we aren’t stuck with a clown or his replacement lying elitist crook…obeyme spent more time criticizing our country to foreigners, getting pervs into women’s restrooms, raising racial tensions to the highest of the past 6 decades and letting unvetted muslims that don’t want to live under our laws then he did good. Talk about twisted…who would vote for a woman that says we have to listen and believe a woman if they’ve been raped, assauted or otherwise molested. Yet out of the other side of her mouth calls all the women that slick willie did this to “liars”. Destroying evidence and deleting emails when called for while Secretary of State….allowing (she could have stopped it) Russia to gain access to 30% of our uranium…at the same time her adulterous mate was getting huge fees for speaking to the Russians…irony??

  9. LIBERALS HATE EVERYTHING THAT IS GOOD HONEST AND THE RIGHT THING ,,, they are SOME F-ED UP SOMBITCHES

  10. My father told me a long time ago never buy a foreign made car. He told me always buy American cars. I believe the same goes to every product we buy should buy American first. Sure American cost more but it more quality you are buying. I am sure you have found that out when you buy cheap foreign products and they break the first time you use them. Now unass some money for American products and lets make this country great once again.

  11. It’s very hard to understand how liberals cannot stand The United States, but continue to live here when there are Socialists Countries that would take them in with open arms and give them the handouts they so earnestly deserve. Why do they not talk about Venezuela very much any more.

  12. The made in America campaign is a beautiful thing. This shows American ingenuity.
But the left doesn’t want to know that. Or understand that.
To the left. Anything to put America first is considered hate speech. Well it’s not. It’s positive speech
And being on the right is being positive. And being on the left is being negative.
The left sees the glass as half empty. While the right sees the glass as half full.
And me being on the right. I see the glass as half full.

  13. It’s way past time to run these anti-American idiot’s out of the country. Either ship them out. Or just flat out kill them. Including the hollyweird crowd. Enough is ENOUGH.

  14. Luv President Trump and the USA !!!!

  15. If only Comrade Drumpf and the rest of the Drumpf Family Grifters practiced what they preached. TOO BAD SO SAD!!

    • It is sad that you can be so wrong. The glass is always half empty with you isn’t it – and all your failures are always someone else’s fault. If things have been so bad for you maybe you need to change the way you think.

    • And those like you is why the country became the way it is But even with ppl like you Pres Trump has helped the country and will keep fighting for it

      • The ONLY thing Comrade Drumpf is concerned about helping, is finding as many ways to further the lining of the pockets of he and his Grifting family.

        • You are a sick and a sad individual.

          • It will ALL come out in the wash eventually. Mark My Words! But of course, MOST of you, will still be bowing down to the would be Orange Dictator, because as soon as Comrade Drumpf wove his basket you pepole gladly climbed into and will never flee the cozy feeling, comfort and COMRADESHIP. Comrade Drumpf bragged that even if he shot and killed someone in the middle of the street, his Devotees would never jump ship and abandon him. How “Christian”! How “Patriotic”! How Predicatably Pathetic and so…Very…Very…SAD!!!!

        • Spoken like a true lib Great job on know what to stick to

  16. When President Trump said he wanted to make America great again – the left was against it. When President Trump said he wanted to put America and Americans first – again the left was against it. Why? He said Americans – as in ALL Americans. The left has done everything they can to try an dig up some dirt on President Trump and his family while totally ignoring all of the corruption that has been going on for years. Screw the left onward and forward for everyone else.

  17. American blue collar workers tend to be patriotic .

  18. The Dem don’t like the millions they are loosing with Trump’s stopping all the rigged up deals that they had implemented, as they syphoned off of every Charity, Fund, Treaty or Grant that they invented.

    LIKE THE ;
$20 million for firewood that never existed !
$9 million on a grant to make a research report, that never actually happens !
    $75,000 For 25 bicycles
There are many more such examples that the oversight committees have found so far and so far Trump as of date they have recovered and brought back to the US Federal Reserve over $1 trillion dollars.
Trump brought more then two dozen businesses back into the country, along with the making of over 1.2 million jobs, with both of these growing. These are those businesses and jobs that told the American people that would never return, well I guess they wouldn’t as long as there wasn’t an American running the nation and all in the span of his first 6 months in office, but all I hear from the liberals is how he wastes. The Dems should not throw rock when they are the ones that have all the paper work on them that shows they were crooked.
The liberals keep harping that he is doing wrong on this that or the other, when really what it is that they are still whining about is loosing the power and money that they were taking from all the unsuspecting taxpayers.

  19. Too bad the leftist, liberal, lying dumocrats are so hateful about the next three weeks of MAKE AMERICA GREAT AND MADE IN THE USA BY PATRIOT CITIZENS. Their own hate is eating them up and showing all that all their bullying, lies, curruption has done nothing more than make them losers first class. Truly they can understand I would hope that the sky is not falling.

  20. Yeah for capitalism and it’s way of making people rich. Le’t go back to the 1920’s when things were great for the wealthy and the common person knew his place. The vote for women should be reviewed because we know that women are emotional creatures and can be easily swayed. They should, as good Christians obey their husbands/fathers/brothers. When we have a cemented social order, with those in the know running things it is a great opportunity to move our country forward. People are going to college who have NO business there! You don’t need to have a college education to hold a good paying job. We shouldn’t delude ourselves in thinking that everyone is equal or should have an equal opportunity. We are in our places for a reason and God has placed us there to further His plan. I hope that wonderful President Trump and his folks prevail so that we can all have a better life.

    • I SO AGREE with you. College never really HAS been the source of “education” that it was put over as, we really learn all we need in Life by ourselves, and the schooling is mostly irrelevant and really pretty off-base anyway. The idea that the certificates they give really MEANS a lot is stupid at best. What we learn in Coillege is mostly out-dated crap and from posturing academics who are so out of date that it is funny to watch them. Not to say that there are NO real professors — just not very many good ones. Problem is, they spend more time trying to show how smart they are than they do really giving information. In the end we know almost nothing anyway, we just learn to observe closely to see what is in front of us — or we don’t have anything going for us. All we HAVE is what we have observed duriing out Life, however well — or poorly — we observed it.

    • Nice try troll. Funny how liberals pretend to hate stereotypes, except when they try to use the most absurd ones to make people believe they are Conservatives/Christians. This is laughably stupid, I’d say you should be embarrassed, but as a liberal I’m sure you’re dead to shame.

  21. Any and everything that pisses off the liberals is great with me. If this “Made in America” makes them mad, then have it everyday for the next 7 and a half years.

    • Trump speaks with a forked tongue when he supports “Made In America” while Trump’s/families companies don’t…he’s a hypocrite and you know it.

      • Donald J TRUMP has built a real estate empire in America and the properties that he acquires and constructs/renovates is done right here with American labor.
Check out the old DC post office.
Remember it was Bill Clinton that signed NAFTA and sent all the jobs to China and Richard Blum, DiFis’ (D-CA) made billions off of it.
You are a socialist democrat that hates America and you know it.
        You should move to Venazula

      • You’re an idiot and you know it. Must be why liberals are mad all the time.

        • Prove My statement is incorrect

        • B.S.? The facts are facts ….
JUDY WOODRUFF: At the White House, it is Made in America Week, an effort to highlight President Trump’s goal of boosting U.S. manufacturing and job creation.

However, it has again sparked questions over Mr. Trump and his family’s businesses, particularly where their products are manufactured.

          John Yang has the story.

JOHN YANG: Today, the White House South Lawn was turned into a showcase for products made in each of the 50 states.

But not on display, merchandise sold by the Trump Organization or Ivanka Trump’s fashion line. Most of those things are made overseas.

Here to talk about how Ivanka Trump’s clothing is made is Matea Gold of The Washington Post. She’s part of a team of reporters that investigated the Ivanka Trump brand’s manufacturing practices.

          Matea, thanks for joining us.

In your story, you said that the Ivanka Trump fashion line had retail sales of about $100 million last year. What does she make, and where does she make them?

MATEA GOLD, The Washington Post: The Ivanka Trump brand, which the first daughter still owns, but doesn’t control on a day-to-day management, makes clothes, handbags, shoes in an array of overseas factories, we found, exclusively in foreign factories.

We traced her current line of products to five specific countries, Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, and Vietnam. There’s also customs records that show that, back in 2013, some of her shoes were made in Ethiopia.

And the brand told us that, while they would like to bring manufacturing back to the United States, they don’t feel like it’s really possible to do in a large-scale fashion.

JOHN YANG: And how does this compare? We should also note that the Trump brand, the Trump Organization brand products made in about 12 different countries, including Bangladesh and China. How does this compare with the rest of the industry?

MATEA GOLD: Well, the reality is that the American apparel industry is very firmly grounded in globalization and overseas production.

About 97 percent of the clothes and shoes sold here in the United States are made abroad. And industry experts say that it is going to be incredibly difficult to reverse that trend.

So, the focus in the industry right now is not on bringing manufacturing back in a large-scale fashion, but rather trying to give consumers a sense of confidence that their goods are not being made by workers overseas who are being exploited for their labor.

JOHN YANG: And how does the Ivanka Trump fashion line measure up to the rest of the industry and that sort of thing in policing labor conditions at the factories they use?

MATEA GOLD: We found that the Ivanka Trump brand lags behind many in the apparel industry, both large and small companies, when it comes to having oversight of their foreign production.

Up to now, they have really relied on their suppliers to certify that they are complying with their code of conduct, a code of conduct, I should note, that they would not publicly disclose.

They are taking measures now to do greater oversight, the kind of measures that other companies already have, such as bringing in a group to independently audit factories and to provide some programs on the ground to support some of the women who make their clothes.

JOHN YANG: And what did the Trump people say to you? Today, Sean Spicer was asked today about some of this in the White House briefing, and said it would be inappropriate for him to talk about a private business at the White House podium. What did they tell you in response to these things?

MATEA GOLD: Well, the president of the Ivanka Trump brand, Abigail Klem, told us that one of the reasons they had not taken these other measures that other companies have is because they’re a newer and smaller brand and that they’re looking now to really try to live their mission of women who work, which is the motto Ivanka Trump developed at her company throughout their whole supply chain.

And that is something that they said is evolving and they’re going to continue to strive to do. But Klem also told us that the goal of bringing manufacturing back to the United States for their company was just unrealistic, that there aren’t trained workers that work in the apparel industry here anymore, and, in many cases, the machinery doesn’t even exist to do this kind of production.

JOHN YANG: Matea, let me ask you about something else you have been reporting on for The Post.

The financial — the campaign spending records of the Trump 2020 campaign shows that they paid money to — they paid fees to Donald Trump Jr.’s lawyer before this latest story broke about the meeting with the Russian lawyer, and also they reimbursed the Trump corporation for legal consulting fees.

          What’s all this about?

MATEA GOLD: So, we don’t have a lot of answers from the campaign committee, which has declined to answer questions about these payments.

But one thing we saw in the most recent campaign finance filing is that the legal fees paid by the campaign committee skyrocketed in the last quarter, including a $50,000 retainer paid to a criminal defense attorney who is now representing Donald Trump Jr.

This came in late June, before President Trump himself said he knew about this meeting in which there were several Russian or Russian-linked people involved. And it does raise questions about whether this payment specifically was connected to the Russian probe.

And there was also this reimbursement to the Trump corporation for legal fees, which is the first time we have seen Trump’s own company being reimbursed for those kinds of service.

JOHN YANG: What does the Federal Election Commission say about campaign funds being used for legal fees?

MATEA GOLD: The campaign committees have a lot of leeway to spend money on legal fees, as long as the payments are directly connected to activity connected to the campaign.

So if the expenses wouldn’t have been incurred all but for the campaign committee, they can pay them. But if they were expenses that aren’t related to political activity, they’re beyond the purview of the committee.

The fact that these payments were made through the reelection committee suggests that they are connected to some sort of legal investigation or legal work connected to the campaign.

JOHN YANG: Matea Gold on legal fees being paid for by the campaign and Ivanka Trump’s businesses, thank you very much.

          MATEA GOLD: Thank you.

          • so are a lot of things

          • “so are a lot of things” Isn’t that the problem? Isn’t that what we are discussing? President Trump is not helping with the problem by contributing to it.

You don’t appear to want to have an honest discussion-You appear to refuse to accept any factual proof regarding President Trump’s hypocrisy regarding the”Made in America” event-
Also-Please stop the name calling-it’s a waste of time and space and forces people to think less of you.

          • I don’t care to have a discussion with a person like you that has nothing but false news or information besides your probably a democrap that gets money from soros to blow your big mouth off with no facts, So lay off trump people are thinking less of you because you can’t back up the president of the U.S shame on you!!!!!

          • If you are symbolic of someone who wants to make America great… we are fucked…

          • nice word potty mouth

  22. It just shows you the left-wing the Democrat party and their horse in the media or all anti-American. They should be cheering for someone to make jobs in America make life better for America but instead it’s the opposite and some of the work fast people this country or too stupid to see it !

  23. Stephen Griffith

I pray daily for the leadership of this Country. That their will be a return to God’s rule of Truth & that we return to the right path. Not just for Worldly gain of Jobs, which we do need. But also to serve God & reach out to those in need of God’s help for their souls as well as their families. I pray for recovery of the hearts, minds & souls of all Americans!!!!!! Not hard to understand since all liberals hate America.

  25. No, Americans hate his hypocrisy. Trump petitioned the Labor Dept. for visas in order to hire 64 foreigners at his resort. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. What about the products he and his daughter sell, which are made in other countries. For him, it’s do as I say not as I do.

  26. Any political party, or any person or persons who speaks out against trumps patriotism, is anti-American and or globalist. And for the idiot anarchist, if it weren’t for the worker you wouldn’t be sitting on you He sitting on your dead birds doing nothing or out there protesting throwing things up. At this point in time. Trump has done nothing against what he said he wasn’t going to do. God bless Mr. Trump and maybe pray for him as he represents we American people and all died for freedom.

  27. Phyllis Handkins

I hear the liberals gripe about the fact that President Trump buys his clothes from foreign clothing designers. I suppose they forget they do the same. I can’t go to a store anywhere I have ever been in this country that were made in this country. The liberals want us to be a third world country under one world government.

  28. Love that the People’s President Trump cares for America not like politicians who just fill their pockets and the hell with everyone else in America.

    • Stephen Griffith

Yell I do too. But to hear by telling Liberals the Truth. They will cry about being Bullied. Or call “We The People” selfrighteous fools. They want to tell “We The People” how to live, think, act, & behave like mindless Zombies. I remember one the Fake Nonews Networks reporters, whining that “We The People” were not thinking like they said we should. Well for one thing “We The People” do not want to live in 3rd World Country under One NWO, run by these Liberal persons, thank you very much.

  29. Funny how this ‘Made in America’ campaign kicks off with visa requests for his workers at El Lago? Why don’t they have visas now?

  30. Same old Liberal B.S. Their only objective is to continue their nit-picking ways and to obstruct in any way they can to prevent Trump from implementing his campaign promises. DumbocRATS are nothing more than slimy POS!!

  31. Of course Liberals hate anything patriotic! The next thing their want to do is remove July 4th from the calendar

  32. Of course they do! Liberals believe that it is racist and homophobic to be pro American!
