Liberal Morals: Save Unborn Birds, Kill Unborn Human Babies

Nothing satisfies the soul like watching liberals get caught in the bizarre hypocrisies mandated by their sick view of the world. The morals of a liberal, unattached to any greater theory of humanity or existence (much less a Higher Power), twist in the wind like a cheap banner. They are guided by in-the-moment emotion, current popular trends, and, let’s face it, whatever the media is telling them that week. This philosophy of life (if you can call it that) leads to some pretty easy comedy, if you have the right instigators.

So it is that we come to the latest video from Prager University. PragurU’s Will Will headed out to Echo Park in Los Angeles to ask the granola-munching crowd if they would sign his petition to protect unborn eagles from destruction caused by reckless passers-by and others who want to tamper with the delicate eggs. They were only too willing to help!

“We have a petition to stop the killing of eagles, like eagle eggs, people disturb them or they destroy them. These eagles haven’t been born yet, they have rights, ya know? We don’t think they should be harmed and we think that there should be harsher penalties for those kind of things. Would you guys agree?” Witt asked.

“Yes, of course,” two women eagerly said.

“Don’t kill eagles,” another woman said. “Eagles are people, too!”

“Best of luck, I hope you save the eagles,” said another person, all too grateful to sign the petition.

At that point, Witt turned the tables, revealing that he had another petition he’d like their help with.

“We have one other petition about stopping the killing of humans, too — like, babies,” he said. “We want to protect their rights, too, even though they’re unborn.”

Suddenly, the mood turned dark.

“Wait, no,” one woman said. ” I don’t agree with that. I’m like pro-abortion, sorry.”

“Oh, no, I don’t agree. I fully support abortion,” another said.

“Why do you support not the killing of unborn eagles but the killing of unborn children?” Witt asked, not unreasonably.

“Uh, I think it’s the woman’s decision,” she replied. “A human woman should have more rights probably than a bald eagle. Abortion.”

It’s apparently good enough to just say, “abortion” as an argument that unborn eagles deserve life while unborn humans do not. Fascinating.
